Small trained furry friends welcomed, upon approval before arrival. 15min drive to beaches, 19 minutes to LAX, 20min to Long Beach Convention Center, 33 minutes to Disneyland. Guest access Complimentary luggage drop off as early as 8:30am. You have the entire home, front yard, and designated 2-car parking driveway. This is a two story unit with the first floor consisting of: kitchen, dining area, living room, full bathroom and two rooms with full beds. The 2nd floor consists of: 2nd living room (queen air mattress in closet), a full bathroom with a tub, a master room with a king bed, and a 2nd room with a queen bed. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, etc, the stove is a Samsung smart stove with an air fryer and the fridge has an ice maker and filtered water, all for your use. This is apart of the front unit of a duplex therefore there is no backyard access, only front yard. There is no washer and dryer on site, however, we are more than happy to drop off your laundry to our local laundromat or dry cleaner and return your items to you. Other things to note Small furry friends under 30lbs are welcomed upon approval by host BEFORE ARRIVAL. Pets must be indoor dogs/cats and be potty trained. Pets must be crate trained and stay in crate when left home alone and during the night. Our versatile three-bed, two-bath home is great for families, groups of friends, and business travelers alike. Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac, you'll have an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy distant views of the harbor from many of the windows in the home, and let the sound of the wind rustling through the palm trees in the yard lull you to sleep at night. It is important to note that this property has been subdivided, and our family is in the back of the property. The space This three-bedroom, two-bathroom space is set up as a vacation home away from home. Because you'll be visiting our coastal community, we've chosen cheerful nautical decor throughout the space. The beds are comfortable, and the home is spacious. Please note that the house has a $75 cleaning fee. This likely played a role in you choosing it. This cleaning fee comes with two expectations. First, you will return the house back to us the way you found it, with spills wiped up, countertops clean, debris picked up off the floor, etc. Second, you understand this is not the Double Tree hotel, which is down the street and costs the same for a room that you are spending on the whole house, and you will not hold us to their standards. If finding one stray hair will cause you to freak out and leave a one-star review for "clean," please find a location that charges a $300 cleaning fee and has a crew come in between every reservation. Below are the details about each room in the house: Kitchen -- We know one of the reasons you chose a vacation rental instead of a hotel is access to a full kitchen. We provide coffee, tea, olive oil, salt, and pepper to get you started. We made every attempt to ensure the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, so we stocked pots, pans, toaster, crock pot, blender, and everything else we could think of. If you think of something we forgot, we are at the back of the property and likely have it in our kitchen, and will do our best to secure it for you. Coffee and tea bar -- Off the dining room you'll find a coffee and tea station, which has coffee beans, a coffee grinder, coffee pot, French press, pour-over options, and a milk steamer/frother for coffee lovers, as well as a kettle and various tea options for tea drinkers. There are plenty of mugs, and a variety of sweetening options. We hope this station helps you get your day started right! Dining room -- the dining table seats six, but there is a folding table behind the coffee bar that can be set up to seat additional people if everyone wants to dine together. There are also two extra chairs that will be obvious. Living room -- with a sofa and love seat, you can get comfy and watch TV or just hang out. Wade is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, so we have a giant selection of DVD screeners for you to enjoy. We've also put out some games, books, playing cards, and Nerf guns (check the dresser drawers for these), because we hope your family enjoys playing together as much as ours does. The sofa is a pull-out bed. If you wish to use it, you'll want to throw on the Bunkie board, located under the sleeper sofa, for comfort. You might also want to grab the topper from queen bedroom #1, as that mattress is quite comfy without one, and it helps a lot for the sofa bed. Sheets can be found in the little cubes at the foot of the bed in queen bedroom #2. Queen bedroom #1 -- the first queen bedroom has a queen bed, a small wall-mounted television, a wall mirror, and a closet to unpack into. There is no room on the floor of this bedroom for an additional mattress. Queen bedroom #2 -- the second queen bedroom has a queen bed, a large mirrored closet, and hooks on the wall. There is space in this room to place on of the twin mattresses from the twin bedroom if you desire. Twin bedroom -- this versatile room has a total of four twin beds. Three of them are actual beds, and the fourth is a trundle that is under one of the other beds. If you really want to, you can also use the trundle mattress to turn one of the day beds into a bed for an adult couple, but the room gets very cramped that way, and it's not the most comfortable option. Laundry room -- We also know you'll want to throw a load of laundry in the wash while you're here, so the all-in-one washer and dryer is pre-loaded with detergent to make everything extremely easy -- just toss your clothes in, push start, and come back two hours later to everything washed and dried! Yard -- the front yard is yours to use, but the back yard is exclusively ours. Note that the house is not set up with yard space as a prominent feature; it has no BBQ grill, seating area, or other functional options. We are mindful that this is a close-knit residential community, and neighbors would not appreciate guests congregating in the front yard on an ongoing basis. You're free to use this space, but please observe all noise rules, be conscious of the neighborhood you are in, and don't do anything you wouldn't want someone to do in your neighborhood at home. Guest access This is a subdivided space, with us in the back and you in the front. We (Wade and Krista) reside in the back half of the property, so your access does not include the back yard or the rooms at the rear of the property, which will be locked and clearly marked. The only potentially shared space is the driveway, which will be exclusively yours for parking, but which we (and our friends and family) will need to walk up and down to access our half of the property. No outdoor music is allowed after 9pm and doors/windows must be shut if you plan on playing reasonable, background music indoors after 9pm. This is NOT a "party house". No loud parties or loud gatherings are allowed, especially in the evenings. If you are looking to plan for a daytime gathering (such as a BBQ or pool time), or perhaps a respectable evening dinner, please message us with the details and include the number of people expected and the time. Any approved non-overnight guests must depart by 10:00 PM. Up to 2 cars can park in the driveway. Please do NOT park on the street in our Cul De Sac, as our neighbors often use those spaces for their own vehicles, and due to the circular nature of the street, some spots may obstruct driveways. For additional car parking, you can park on the main street (off the Cul De Sac) which is a 1 min walk to the Villa. Outdoor garden services occur once to twice per week, usually between 11AM and 2PM, gardeners come in, then swimming pool technician. You do not have to be on premises as they have automatic access to the grounds and do not need to enter the house. The gray bin should be placed on the street Monday evening along with neighboring houses and will be collected. You may return the bin to its original spot on Tuesday evening. Landscape Maintenance: Our weekly landscaping team visits every Thursday morning between 9:00–11:00 AM for a brief 20–30 minute cleanup of the front and backyard to keep the outdoor areas clean and well maintained.
