One is located in the family room and the other is located downstairs in the multi-use room. They are both extremely comfortable and come with pillows and linens. All bathrooms are fully equipped with shampoo and conditioner as well as toiletries. They also accommodate hairdryers and laundry baskets. Each bathroom is beautiful and unique in its own way. If you are thinking about booking a stay just wait because it gets a lot better. The house is equipped with smart TVs that offer screen sharing and smart apps like YouTube and Netflix. The downstairs lounge area by the bar is equipped with board games and 2 karaoke microphones that can be found inside the storage cabinet. Our selection of board games may not be big but it's all you need to have fun. We have uno, guess who, connect four, monopoly, dominoes, and a full poker set as well as a 4 in 1 mini pool table/ air hockey/ping pong/ axe throwing. The TV for the lounge area can be turned to also face the pool table. The tv is equipped with two game systems. You will also find a portable Bluetooth speaker by the pool table. The outdoor patio is a breathtaking space to have a nice lunch or just kick back with the family. Our outdoor patio offers outdoor seating as well as an outdoor eating area. It also has its own private barbecue grill. The pool is open from May-September and offers an unforgettable swim for all ages by accommodating different depths with bench style stairs and a gradual slope into the deep end. Some other miscellaneous amenities like an iron & iron pad, vacuum, first-aid kit, and a fire extinguisher can be found in the kitchen hallway closet. All are connected to a propane line so you don't need to worry about lugging tanks up and down. The history buff in you will love the antiques and original features that pay homage to the maritime heritage of Mystic~ nautical murals, wide-planked floors, a beehive oven, square head nails, period trim, and a large center chimney that powers five working fireplaces! The 1784 Denison Home, built by John Denison, a prominent family name who settled in colonial Mystic, CT, was a hat maker by trade (or did he ever become a “mad hatter?” The first floor of this home was most likely a hat store while he lived there. After various owners, Charles Vincent purchased this house in the 1960s and turned the first floor into the Old Mystic Bookstore and when he turned 80 he sold it and moved to Maine~ he specialized in obscure 1st edition books and maritime maps, housing over 20,000-30,000 pieces. The locals remember the bookstore well and said you could hardly move through the rooms as books and maps rambled along on all surfaces from top to bottom but Vincent always new were his books and maps were when a customer put in a request. You can still see his maps in the front hallway preserved to this day! This wonderful home was then renovated to a bed & breakfast and ran as the Old Mystic Inn for 33 years until 2019 when Michael, chef and last innkeeper, served his last guests his famous scrumptious breakfast. This dear antique house has much history and many stories to tell over its 250 years and is meant to continue to open it’s doors to visitors who desire experiencing a piece of that history too! Berry Guest Rooms is narrow and typical of an antique colonial home of this period (think of the people that have climbed those stairs!) The back stairwell, which leads to the Library Room, a common room, is wider and has a more modern feel. OUTDOOR SPACES Chill out in the side yard with the gazebo, around the fire pit (bundle of wood provided), furnished with 6 Adirondack chairs, two hammocks, patio tables, an outside couch with a fire table, and a large propane grill (propane provided). FAMILY & DOG At the 1784 Denison, we love to welcome children and your furry family members. You’ll find a high chair, pack-n-play, baby tub for little guests, and plenty of board games and books to keep younger guests occupied. We welcome two well-behaved dogs of small to medium size. The Denison Home is down the street from the Old Mystic Fire Station, so it's possible you'll hear sirens during your stay. However, it's a comfort to know they're so close too:-) As the 1784 Denison Home is circa 1784, the floorboards are wide and do move and creak a bit, but I think you'll appreciate how it adds to the charm and character of an antique home. With wooden homes, sometimes doors stick and need a push or a pull, as wood naturally expands and contracts with the New England weather. Original glass windows can be drafty in the wintertime. 1784 Historic Nautical Mystic Home: 5 En-Suites

This big, beachy bungalow is the perfect place for a laid-back stay among a group of friends or a large family of 6-12 people! This location provides you with quiet streets to meander (dogs welcome please inform host prior). There is a playground on the street behind the house. The space This is a cheerful, eclectically designed home built in 2020. We have not rented out since 2023 and I am excited to be offering (albeit late lol) again beginning summer 2026. About the house; it has hardwood floors throughout, tile bathrooms, central ac, central heat and a lot of little nooks to hang out in. Two kitchens, two laundry rooms. Two fireplaces inside the house and a firepit outside plus a weber gas bbq grill, walking distance to rocky neck park for hiking. lawn The home is three floors. The main floor living space is comprised of the large kitchen/dining room, a living room/sunroom with a deck and a half bath. In this floor, I have extra comfy couches for sleeping or napping. Upstairs you have three bedrooms plus a bonus den where I have also placed a bed it is quite cozy there and one of my favorite spots but please note that the bonus den is down a long hallway and has a curtain for privacy and not an actual door and that there are three additional actual bedrooms with doors of course on this floor. There are two full bathrooms and a laundry room on this floor as well. The ground floor has a king bedroom suite, main kitchen, full bathroom with shower and a small area for storing gear. Underneath the deck we have two hammock chairs another if my favorite spots to be. The house is well stocked with everything you need so you can be on vacation from the moment you arrive! It is our family home so you can expect some dinged walls and scratched floors haha. A relaxing spot in a beach association with a parking lot two mins from the house and 100 yards to the sand cant beat it! For hiking enthusiasts try the ravenswood trail which meanders along the marsh near the clubhouse. In Niantic, access all the great shops and restaurants less than ten minutes drive from the house! The 1784 Denison Home, the antique red colonial on this property, was built by John Denison, a prominent family that settled in colonial Mystic, CT, and was a hat maker by trade (or did he ever become a “mad hatter?”). The first floor of this home was most likely a hat store while he lived there. Once upon a time, a gentleman named Vincent bought this special property and opened a bookstore, the Old Mystic Bookstore, in the Denison Home. Vincent specialized in obscure 1st-edition books and maritime maps, housing over 20,000-30,000 pieces. The locals remember the bookstore well and said you could hardly move through the rooms, as books and maps rambled along all surfaces from top to bottom, but Vincent always knew where his books and maps were when a customer made a request. You can still see his maps in the Denison Home's front hallway, preserved to this day. This wonderful property was renovated into a bed & breakfast, the Old Mystic Inn, and that's when the Carriage House, this listing, was built to accommodate additional guests traveling to Mystic. We can provide a twin-sized air mattress that can be used on the first level if you are not comfortable climbing the steep steps. A shared full bathroom with shower/tub on the first floor requires one step up to access the bathroom. Guest access * The guests staying at the 1807 Williams Home Property have access to the entire property and have it to themselves. * You will receive your full check-in instructions 4 days before arrival. * You will receive your keypad codes 24 hours before check-in time. * Like many homes in historical villages, there is no garage * Parking area can accommodate up to 5 cars Other things to note PROPERTY TRUTHS The loft steps to the queen bedroom in the Smith are STEEP and not recommended for younger children or anymore with mobility issues. The Smith Cottage is an open space with only a partition wall between the king bed room and living room area. The queen bed in the Cordage Suite, 1st floor bedroom is very high and will require our bed steps. The Williams Home & Smith Cottage property is on Main Street on a bustling corner at a 3-way stop sign across Holly Hock Antiques and the Old Mystic Post Office. It's busy with road noise during the day but a quiet and peaceful hamlet in the evenings. As the Williams Home is circa 1807, the floorboards are wide and do move and creak a bit, but I think you'll appreciate how it adds to the charm and character of an antique home. With wooden homes, sometimes doors stick and need a push or a pull, as wood naturally expands and contracts with the New England weather. Original glass windows can be drafty in the wintertime.
