The Imperial Stair Case is a fantastic backdrop for any group photos. Private room and bathroom en suite in 1920's Dutch Colonial, nestled in quiet historic neighborhood. 15 minute walk to NJ Transit Netherwood Station. This 3rd floor space is all yours and includes a mini-fridge, microwave, TV, desk, WiFi and spacious bathroom. Other things to note 3 sweet cats live here- Griselda, Fuzz Aldrin and Croissant. Please try not to let them sneak out the door when you're coming and going (but if they do, just let me know).

Restful Retreat in Historic District

Relax on your trip at this peaceful and centrally-located place. You will have self-check-in & a semi-private entrance. The space is on the second floor of my home and includes two large rooms. A bedroom and living room with a private full bath, providing an apartment-like experience. It works out beautifully for couples who have different sleeping habits. A small refrigerator, microwave, & Keurig machine/ coffee pods.Chill in a space that feels like home! No kitchen or laundry avail. The space You will have the second floor of my home to yourself. Both rooms have cathedral ceilings and receive plenty of natural light. We are surrounded by large trees which create a peaceful natural setting. Large windows provide an incredible view of the woods. This quiet natural environment offers a perfect place to recharge after your busy day out or a quiet spot to complete work remotely. Large screen TV, books, and games are available for your use too! Free off street parking close to entrance. Guest access You will pull down the long driveway and enter through the back entrance. Pull straight ahead to the garage. There is no street parking but space for one car off the street. Please enter using the back door on the LEFT. The right side of the French doors should remain locked and stationary. Please read the door instructions that are in House Manuel and Check In details. Using it incorrectly can damage the locking mechanism. Then head upstairs to your own private sanctuary! Please remember the speed limit on my street is 15 mph. The neighborhood is like a campground, but we are 2 minutes from Interstate Rt 78! This is a quiet location, please respect my neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum outside. The location is exceptionally convenient. The beach, mountains, and New York City are all within an hour’s drive or less. Berkeley Heights also has a train to midtown Manhattan. Uber and Lyft are also readily available. During your stay I am around the house often, but do travel now and then. PLEASE read the check- in directions and all other listing information prior to arrival. This is especially important for people who are new AirBnB users. It is best to contact me through the AirBnB messaging system so I see the text immediately and can respond in a timely way. Thanks! Other things to note This listing is for guests 21 and over unless accompanied by a parent. The space is not suited for young children. Infants may be permitted upon request. There is parking for one vehicle off street. There is no street parking here. Less than two miles away from mid-town direct trains to NYC! 3 miles to Connell Complex 2 miles to Stone House wedding venue. Trains from Berkeley Hts go to Secaucus Rail Station, where you can get light rail to Met Life stadium.

While there is no closet, hooks behind the door & a 2-drawer nightstand offer storage. Located on the 2nd floor of a quiet townhome, the room is close to shops, grocery stores, Routes 78 & 22. Its compact layout makes it a peaceful retreat for guests who enjoy modern simplicity & comfort. The shared bathroom is just a few steps away. The space Small 3 bedroom townhouse, with bedrooms on second floor Guest access Bedroom, shared full bathroom, kitchen access (refrigerator for storing food, drinks, microwave use) During your stay I am easily reachable—my cell phone number will be provided for direct communication. Note: There is another room that may be occupied by another traveler during your stay, so the full bathroom is a shared space. I do go to bed early, so please know I am not avoiding you, I just turn in usually around 8pm. Other things to note A pitcher of filtered water is freshly prepared for you at your bedside to keep you refreshed. Coffee or tea is available in the morning. Just send a message before you go to bed and tell me if you’d like coffee or tea. Your towels are placed on your bed. In the bathroom, you can use a hook or the towel rack for your hand towel and a hook for your bath towel. There are designated "guest" signs. The bathroom is also stocked with hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste for guests. The WiFi network and password are listed on the welcome letter posted in your room. There are two power strips and a bedside lamp with a USB port for charging your devices. I am immunocompromised, so I kindly ask that travelers remove shoes upon entering the home and carry them into your room - or you can leave them by the door entrance. Light to medium weight dumbbells are accessible, just mention before you arrive and I’ll place them in your room.
