Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house is located on a few acres of land with plenty of room for trailer parking or outside activities. The lake lot is across a small quite road and is only shared between our guests and us. Lake Minnewawa is a wonderful fishing and reactional lake. Our lot is fairly flat for easy walking to and from the lake. Marlin's is located about an hour from Duluth, Brainerd, Grand Rapids and Mora.

The perfect place to relax, reconnect, and unwind. The space Our cabin sits on just under 2 acres, and is cozy and welcoming. We offer 3 king size beds and a crib. Built in 2022 it provides all of the amenities you could want. There are options for boat and jet ski rentals. Guest access Guest are welcome to use the entire cabin which include the main floor and lower level. Unfortunately, the 2 bunk houses are NOT available for guests to use. There are beautiful public pickleball, tennis and basketball courts and a park at Shamrock Township which is a 5 minute drive from our home. Other things to note We have a dock that has room for one guest boat. Boat rental is an option - please ask host about options. Big Sandy Lake is known for having wild rice that grows within it toward the mid to late summer. We do have rice that grows on our shoreline. We keep it cleared so you are able to get in and out, the public boat launch is just across Highway 65 from us so it’s very close and convenient.

Other things to note LOCATION: Hidden down a wooded drive to a private haven. The fishing is excellent for all panfish, bass, northern, walleye and more on this lake— This 8000 acre lake offers miles of shoreline with maximum depth of 90 feet. There is a public boat landing about 5 minutes away. Willies Bait & Tackle Shop is 10 minutes away. There are great restaurants on Big Sandy Lake and surrounding area. FISHING DOCK AND BOATING: We have room fora couple boats (depending on size). There is a dock with bumpers for docking boats. Stainless steal fish cleaning station is available. PONTOON RENTAL: We have a 23' Premier pontoon available for rent to our guests by contacting me directly. PETS: Sorry but due to allergies we do not allow pets SMOKING POLICY---NON-SMOKING HOME: We DO NOT allow smoking in the lodge. Smoking is only allowed outside on GROUNDS/PROPERTY. Receptacles available for disposal and must be used. FURNISHED ITEMS: We furnish many items for your stay at our cozy cabin . BED & BATH— We provide bed and bath linens for your use. Each bathroom is supplied with Kleenex, toilet paper and pump soap. Please bring your own beach towels. If you forget, there will be a few available for your use. KITCHEN— We have dishcloths, hand towels, dish drying towels, 2 rolls of paper towels and dishwashing liquid for dish washing and dishwasher use. We also have small boxes of ziploc bags and aluminum foil, along with some garbage bags to get you started on your stay. We do have a cupboard with coffee filters, some salt/pepper and toothpicks. KITCHENWARE— We have a 25+ cu ft refrigerator in the kitchen. We have a coffee maker with a reusable filter. If you have a particular baking dish or small appliance that you use, check with us and we will let you know if we have it. The lodge is equipped with just about everything— pizza pans, pie dishes, baking sheets, muffin pans, lasagna pan, roaster, toaster, pans, griddle, crockpots, blender, etc. We now have a punch bowl, fun for meals. OUTDOOR DECK AND FIRE RING: The raised deck spans the entire lake side of the cabin. GRILL & DECK DINING— There is a large gas grill with propane. We have table/chairs for dining on the deck, along with acrylic dishes and drinkware. OUTDOOR FIRE RING— We do have a bit of firewood from some dead trees we cut down. We will have some out back for campfires. We do have Adirondack chairs for around the fire ring (adults and kids).

This chalet style cabin encompasses 3+ bedrooms, 2 baths, loft facing the lake, a sauna, 2 large and open living spaces, floor to ceiling windows and a very well appointed kitchen. There is plenty of space for 10 people to gather or find some privacy when needed. The cabin has over 100 feet of sandy beach shoreline, docks and a lily-pad swim mat. There is a pontoon boat that is an optional rental as well; mention it when booking if interested. Several fire pits on the property and all the wood you need for hanging by the fire, and making s’mores with the loved ones. Towering pines adorn the property at the rear of the cabin, bringing in the resident eagles. Your likely to catch a glimpse of them while enjoying coffee on the wrap-around deck facing the lake. Only 2-2.5 hours from the Twin Cities makes getting here a snap. There are several restaurants directly on Big Sandy, which you can boat to, and several other land-locked restaurants nearby. Round Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in Minnesota featuring 18’ of water clarity. The Resort also has a Bar and Restaurant on site featuring a large outdoor deck. The space The Cabin is located at Round Lake resort. The resort has a private beach (one of the nicest beaches in the area), paddle boats, kayaks, swing-set, sand volleyball court, bocce ball court and more. There is a Restaurant/Bar at the resort featuring a full menu, off sale liquor, fuel and a large outdoor dinning area on the deck.. Bring your own boat and park it on our dock in your private space. Our cabins all have Wi-Fi and cable television as well as a private deck with outdoor seating. They also have a private fire pit for your enjoyment. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This 2 Bedroom+, 1 Bath Cabin located at Round Lake Resort. Cabins is steps from Round Lake. On site amenities include fire pit, private beach, sand volleyball court, bocce ball courts, private dock space, swing-set, kayaks, and paddle boats. Cabin has a finished basement with a living room, bar, and additional sleeping area. We do require a 3 night minimum during the summer months! The space The Cabin is located at Round Lake resort. The resort has a private beach (one of the nicest beaches in the area), paddle boats, kayaks, swing-set, sand volleyball court, bocce ball court and more. There is a Restaurant/Bar at the resort featuring a full menu, off sale liquor, fuel and a large outdoor dinning area on the deck.. Bring your own boat and park it on our dock in your private space. Our cabins all have Wi-Fi and cable television as well as a private deck with outdoor seating. They also have a private fire pit for your enjoyment. The Brown Cabin has one bathroom and two bedrooms with a King size bed in one room and a queen size bed in the other. The Lower Level is finished with a living room space, small bar and a Queen and Full size bed. There is also laundry on site that is available for guest use if needed. There is also a shared screened in Gazebo at the lake side.
