Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on Lake of the Isles. Take a canoe out or enjoy a drink on the deck with gorgeous views. The space Nestled right on the water in a calm area of Lake of the Isles. There are no rails and any children who visit the house should be closely supervised. Any children, and possibly any adults who can not swim, would be advised to wear a life jacket when near water or on lower deck. YEAR ROUND lake loving! This secluded cottage sits directly on Lake of the Isles. Accessible by private road with plenty of parking or launch your boat at DeWolf State Park and in 30 seconds, arrive at the cottage and moor your boat during your stay. Surrounded by mature trees, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. At the water, there is a large floating dock. You'll enjoy swimming and great fishing from the dock. Newly drilled well 12/24 The space Inside, the cottage has a combined kitchen/living room with a dining table for 6. Kitchen is stocked with pots/ pans, dishes, utensils and some pantry items and cleaning supplies. Kitchen has a stove/oven, air fryer and microwave. Mini split provides heat/ac for the home. There is wi-fi as well as a direct tv basic package on the 3 smart tvs. (living room and in bedrooms 1 and 3.) There are 3 bedrooms (bedroom 1-queen and twin futon chair; bedroom 2-1 queen; bedroom 3-2 full size beds) 1 bathroom and a combined kitchen/living room with sofa bed. A deck off the living room offers a great view of the lake. As you walk down the stairs towards the water, you will find a charcoal grill and smoker as well as a screenhouse with a table and chairs to enjoy meals outside. Recently drilled well 12/24 Floating dock will be removed after Oct. 31 for winter storage Self check-in; Two night minimum stay April-June; Sept-Oct. 7 night minimum stay July and August. If you need less than 7 days, reach out and we will see if we can accommodate. We understand that sometimes guests have friends or family in the area. If you wish to have visitors beyond the number of guests registered, please reach out to us first. We want to be respectful of our neighbors and do not want large parties. If bringing a pet, you must let us know when booking and your pet must be monitored at all times. We do have a gate on the deck to keep your pet in an enclosed area. If loose, please make sure you respect our neighbors and do not let them run on their property.

We live in a quiet neighborhood, set close to the river, public dock, playground, library, and the Guzzle (ice cream). We are a stone's throw from Wellesley Island Park Trail System w/extensive hiking. Pickleball/tennis gear on site with courts nearby. Fishing gear available. Explore nearby attractions in Alexandria Bay and Clayton. The space Guests have access to the entire house as well as linens including towels. Guests also have access to a dedicated parking space as well as fishing poles and tackle, pickleball equipment, and an outdoor grill. Guests will have access to nearby tennis/pickleball courts (you can reserve the court) as long as you abide by rules for reservations etc. Guest access Guests are welcome to all amenities within Thousand Island Park including the public dock, tennis/pickleball courts (as long as you reserve the court), the Guzzle, the playground, and the Cove (tiny beach). The South Bay Bungalow is part of the historic Thousand Islands Park on Wellesley Island. Amazing sunsets, and a feel of the river life directly on the Saint Lawrence River. The space The South Bay Bungalow is located in the historic Thousand Islands Park. The home has four bedrooms, with possibilities of additional sleeping areas. Spacious front porches, both lower and upper, offer some of the most beautiful sunset viewing. The end of Bay Shore Avenue leads to a Victorian style home that sleeps as many as 10 guests, and has endless possibilities of memories for family and friends. Star gazing, lazy porch lunches, walks on the nature center trails, and views of the St. Lawrence River abound. Enjoy the river life paddleboarding, or kayaking. Both options are provided on the property. Dock space is available for up to a 24' boat, or just sit and take in the views any time of year. If you don't have that boat to experience the magnificent river, a guided pontoon cruise with a licensed captain may be available for a fee. We ask that the garden conservatory be fully enjoyed, along with the vegetables and herbs grown in the garden through the season. The third floor offers an observatory for the star gazer or a unique place to read a favorite book. Cooler months we have heated floors, and in summer, the central air cools the entire home. South Bay Bungalow

This summer home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the river. The community rests in The Narrows between the 1000 Islands Bridge and Alexandria Bay and is a 12 minute drive to Clayton. The living area is perfect for entertaining family and friends and offers great views of the river and passing ships. The home is not on the water but the community has an area for swimming for residents. There is a pavilion on the river where you can go to see the passing ships & the beautiful sunsets. The space The 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths are nicely decorated with an open floor plan so guests can interact in comfort. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the open living room, kitchen and dining room are on the top floor. Views of passing ships can be seen from the living room and the 2 decks. Guests need to be able to navigate stairs. Guest access You will have access to the entire home, as well as the laundry room on the lower level. Ample parking on the grass is always available. The garage will be locked. Other things to note Take a walk around the community, view the river from the Point Vivian Dock House and watch as boats and ships pass by in the channel. Point Vivian is located in The Narrows, so you will get the closest views of the ships from land! Alexandria Bay is located 5 minutes north of here and Clayton is 12 miles south, just off of Route 12.

-Message me for discounted May, April, October and November rates. This is our paradise at the end of a wooded road set on a private 3 acre peninsula with 850 feet of waterfront! It has 2 fire pits, rocky coves to watch the sunset, and 3 acres of flat land that allows children to run and explore. We are 12 minutes from Abay and Clayton. The fishing off the shore is amazing and instantly rewarding for little ones.. We also have 2 kayaks and 1 paddle board available for use. The space UPDATE FOR OUR REPEAT and NEW GUESTS- We have added a well so the the water is now drinkable and a large party deck for lounging and jumping. We have also redone the bathroom. We do ask that all guests bring their own bedding and pillows. We will supply a comforter for each bed. If you have been there, you see the outside tracks in very easily. It was impossible to keep sheets in pristine condition as we wanted to present to our guests. Thank you and we look forward to having you back! Why we chose this space.... We camped in the 1000 Islands for 5 years. After 2 years of finding all the hidden treasures of the islands, we began looking for a place to make our own. We passed this place by boat and saw a for sale sign. Although we had seen this online, we never thought it was worth visiting. We jumped off the boat to see this property. We knew this was the place for us the MINUTE we stepped foot on the property, before we even saw the house! Rider Place is the first cottage on the Lake of the Isles. The 3 acres offers vast rocks with mini trails behind them that leave so many hidden adventures. We also have a small island, Whonna Island, off the property to explore. Our children have found over 5 swimming spots and tiny, magical fairy houses to build on. They also love the space to practice their sports and play hide and seek with their friends. We truly think we have a gem in the Lake of the Isles. Not only is it very private, but close to all of the famous places in the islands. Other things to note Our place is very unique in that its 850ft of water front, 3 acres and backs up to acres of woods. With that being said, you can see otters, fish, porcupines, turtles, turkeys, owls and many other birds. You may also come across some unique spiders, harmless water snakes and various bugs. In a document I send once booked, I give all the tips and tricks on how to be as bug free as possible. What our guests love the most is the outside of property!

Swan’s Nest is nestled between the American narrows portion of the main channel of the St. Lawrence River and peaceful Swan Bay. This 4 bedroom/3 full bathroom home features a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling river stone gas fireplace as the focal point of the main floor, as well as a fully stocked kitchen and king master suite. Downstairs is a cozy sun room with a fireplace, and an Irish pub style bar room. To the rear, double decks overlook the wide lawn and waterfront access to Swan Bay. The space Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway or a gathering place for the whole extended family, Swan's Nest is the perfect place for your stay in the beautiful Thousand Islands. This home sleeps up to 14 people; one king bed, two queen beds, a bunk bed room that fits six people (great for a gang of kids!) and a sleeper sofa in the upstairs loft. Our kitchen and dining room has all the cookware and dishware you'll need to entertain. The bar room, heated sun porch, and large decks provide spaces for a good time no matter the season. You'll love that Swan's Nest has an ample lawn perfect for outdoor games as well as access to the water. This 19th century Victorian Cottage is centrally located in the middle of the historical district of Thousand Island Park. Centrally located, so close to playground, Main Dock, Swimming Rocks, and the Wellesley Hotel. We normally rent weekly, Sunday to Sunday, June through September. Other arrangements may be acceptable. The $200/week Thousand Island Park Corporation fee is included in the rental rate. The space Enjoy all the amenities of home and an extremely spacious interior. Downstairs includes the living room, dining room, family room (with 40' flat screen HD TV), large kitchen, half bath, and two porches. Upstairs are two full baths (one with laundry), four bedrooms (two queen beds and two full beds), and an office. The cottage is very functional with River-themed decor and wainscoting throughout. Center Island is located in a small group of private islands called Orient Group. The island is surrounded by pristine deep water and has gorgeous 180+ degree water views with amazing views of the Seaway, the Thousand Island Bridge, Wellesley Island, sunsets, and Rock Island Light House. This private oasis is perfect for swimming, kayaking, boating, watching the sunsets and the international freighters pass by the island, and the area is known for world class fishing! The island is accessible only by boat and the boathouse greets you to the island. From the boathouse, you will cross by foot a wooden bridge, which leads to the vintage 1800’s cottage! Yes, this is a vintage 1000 Islands cottage ... there are no granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, or AC. There IS a fully stocked kitchen with many modern gadgets (Drip Coffee Maker, French Press, Coffee Grinder ect ect). NEW FOR SUMMER 2023: New full sized refrigerator and electric stove with an air fryer! NOTE: This is a seasonal cottage and does not have central heat so depending on the weather, stays in October may be a little chilly. NOTE: Although this is a private island, this island is located in an area where there are nearby inhabited islands. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire private island with the exception of two small sheds near water. There are two adult sized kayaks and two adult sized tandem kayaks to enjoy so long as you wear life preservers. Please bring life preservers with you. Other things to note ISLAND BEAUTIFICATION This island home is currently undergoing “beautification” and photos and descriptions are subject to change. There is still a lot of work to be done and in some ways a tad rough and a little like glamping. Cozy bedroom with a queen sized bed (2 People) and a teeny tiny 1/4 bathroom with just a toilet. This bedroom and bedroom need to be painted, decorated and updated as it’s a little rough. 3). Pass-Through Bedroom on way to bathroom with two twin sized beds (2 People). 4). Area at the end of the wrap around porch is sectioned off with a curtain that draws shut. There is a full sized daybed (2 People) and twin sized trundle (1 Person) that pulls out. * Also, in the future, the bunk house will also have a king or queen sized bed. * NOTE: As the cottage undergoes it’s “beautification”, there may be additional sleeping areas & beds that may be added to this listing. The space We are tucked away on a wooded lot that is very private and has a great view of the Lake of the Isles (**there is no direct water access). This is an adorable cabin style home with two bedrooms, one bath and open concept living room/kitchen. This truly is the perfect spot to get away and relax or to enjoy with good friends and family. Get away to a modern two-story cottage suspended among trees on certified organic Cross Island Farms. Located on an interstate accessed island in the 1000 Island Region of the St. Lawrence River in upstate New York, this unique solar powered tree house is close to many local amenities: Wellesley Island State Park, Boldt Castle, museums, boating, world-class fishing, swimming, hiking and just a few miles from Canada. For an additional fee you can have a tour of the farm and/or edible forest. The space When you arrive farm owners Dani or Dave will be there to greet you and show you how to drive to the treehouse. The treehouse is located in a secluded wooded area. Sleeping accommodations include a double bed down and two bunk beds upstairs. The house is equipped with propane cooking and heating stoves and an on-demand hot water heater. Lights and appliances are powered by a small solar array. Turning out all lights and appliances when not in use will conserve power. Both floors are equipped with circulating fans. A wrap-around deck on the first floor offers outdoor seating with a screened-in porch area. Guest access You can use all parts of the treehouse. There is a very steep staircase going from the first to the second floor which may be difficult for someone with ambulation issues.
