The massive 400 square foot master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, a convertible sleeper sofa, and we can even set up an additional queen size air mattress if you need one! The master bedroom also has an en suite master bathroom, gas fireplace, and a 50" smart TV. The second and third bedrooms feature queen size beds, with brand new luxury memory foam hybrid mattresses, and 43" smart TVs. The full kitchen is equipped with all the dishes, utensils and cookware you will need for your stay and we also offer a Keurig coffeemaker with a wide selection of K-Cups for your enjoyment. We also have a breakfast nook located at the end of the kitchen, with seating for six, and a kitchen counter that can seat two more. The living room with double inverted tray ceilings features two full size sofas and a comfortable recliner for viewing the 55" smart TV which is mounted above the functioning wood pellet stove, that you can use to make the living room nice and cozy on those colder winter days. The rear of the home features a secluded back yard with an enormous (550 square feet) covered patio with plenty of seating for you and all of your guests to enjoy. Also, located on the back patio is a brand new eight person hot tub, ready for your use and relaxation after a long day hiking the trails and a Blackstone Gas Griddle Grill if you feel like preparing a meal outdoors! Please note: Firewood is not provided. There is a convenient self-serve firewood stop on the way to the property where bundles are typically available for around $5. Occasionally previous guests may leave unused firewood behind, but availability and condition cannot be guaranteed, especially during wet weather. We recommend purchasing firewood before arrival if you plan to use the fire pit. Important Property Information Driveway & Access: When arriving at the property, you will first see a smaller cabin on the left side of the driveway. Continue past the cabin down the driveway to reach Jake’s Lodge. The driveway is steep, and while 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is not always necessary during good weather, it is strongly recommended. During winter weather or snow, access may become difficult. We make every effort to clear the driveway; however, in some conditions guests may need to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk approximately 100 yards uphill to the home. Cell Service & WiFi: Due to the remote wooded location, mobile phone reception may be limited depending on your carrier. The property has internet service for the area, but storms and severe weather can occasionally cause intermittent connectivity interruptions. We strongly recommend saving or screenshotting your check-in details, front door code, and WiFi information before driving to the property. Wildlife & Trash: Jake’s Lodge is located in a natural wooded setting, so wildlife and insects are common in the area. Please avoid leaving food or trash outside. Trash bags should never be left unsecured outdoors, as wildlife may scatter trash throughout the property. Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive cleanup is required. Water Supply: The home uses well water, which is common throughout the Hocking Hills area. Security Camera: For guest safety and property security, the home is equipped with one exterior security camera facing the front entry area. Nestled right in the middle of Hocking Hills, just 5 minutes from Old Man's Cave, the Barton Farmhouse is the original victorian-era farmstead of the Barton family, built over 120 years ago. With over 2,400 sq ft. of newly renovated house, 5 spacious bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and almost 7 acres of land, this unique property offers a chance for friends and family to relax and enjoy the beauty of Hocking Hills in a rare, Victorian-style home. The space As we updated the Barton Farmhouse we did our best to balance a clean, modern environment with the classic vintage aesthetic that we love. You'll find original woodwork throughout the house with stained glass transom windows above each bedroom. All of our bedrooms are spacious and have unique qualities and designs of their own. For instance, our downstairs bedroom holds the library for the house while the master bedroom upstairs has a built-in gas fireplace and balcony to capture the perfect morning view of the hills. We have three full baths: one marble walk-in shower off the parlor room, one clawfoot tub upstairs, and a master bath with a combo shower finished with subway tile surround. We also have a half bath just off the kitchen. The living room boasts a fully-functional stone fireplace and a bay window with a view of the whole property. Most mornings and evenings, at dawn and dusk, you'll see a wide range of peaceful wildlife on the property, and the bay window is the perfect place to watch. Our kitchen is fully furnished and completely renovated with new cabinets, quartz countertops and all updated appliances. The breakfast nook doubles as our dinner table with original built-in benches and a custom, solid-wood table. In the corner we dedicated a space for coffee lovers with a coffee grinder, hot coffee maker and a cold brew maker. Our Parlor Room, just across from the living room, has a pool table, dart board and smart TV for entertainment as well as a cocktail table for any spectators. Outside we have a large porch where you'll find our hot tub, a wide open yard with a patio and a long path leading to the bottom of the property where you'll find our fire pit. We're also working on a path through the wooded area of the property to allow for a little more exploration and exercise. Inside we have an assortment of games, books and DVDs (throwback) to keep you entertained during your stay. The Barton Farmhouse - Hocking Hills, Logan, Ohio

The cottage sits on 3.8 secluded acres that has its own 3/4 acre fully stocked fishing pond. The Cottage offers spectacular views of the pond and property. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, this is the place for you. Less than 5 miles from old mans cave and other tourist attractions, this is perfectly located between all the spots you want to be in the hocking hills. The cottage includes hiking trails, paddle boats, outdoor areas for all kinds of activities and a fire ring to enjoy. 00791 The space The Cottage has 3 bedrooms each with a queen sized bed. The upstairs has one bedroom and one bathroom. Downstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. In a separate building approximately 30 feet away is a garage and guest house. In the guest house, there is a bedroom loft with a queen and twin sized bed. There is no bathroom in the guest house. Other things to note There are 2 driveways that can be used. One right in front of the house is small and is only big enough for one vehicle. The second driveways (by firewood stand) is much larger and can accommodate multiple vehicles. The cozy cabin is located only 4.5 miles from Old Mans Cave. This charming cabin has everything you need for the perfect relaxing getaway while visiting the Hocking Hills. After action-packed days spent exploring local scenery, return home to fire up the grill for a sunset barbecue and soak in the hot tub. Guest access The full second and third levels are open to guests. Note the ground level basement is currently storage. We are working to finish this to make it available to our guests! 4 wheel drive is recommended (especially in the winter) as the gravel driveway is steep. We don’t allow ATVs on the property. Other things to note We ask all guests to treat our home as their own. If you’d like to party, we aren’t the place for you. We’re set up to host relaxing weekends. Not ragers. On the first floor, you have the main bedroom (with king bed), attached bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and a second full bath (with a tub). On the second floor, we offer two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with two full beds), a full bath, and a loft (with futons). In the walk out basement, we offer ping ping, foosball, billiards, card table, and washer and dryer. Our back deck, is where the hot tub sits.
