Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and back yard. There are 2 other short term rental on the property and shared waterfront area for those guests. Rent both our beautiful homes on the same property totaling 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. Enjoy breathtaking sunset views over the lake every night from the waterfront properties, which feature multiple decks and plenty of outdoor seating. With two docks available, you can bring your boats and explore the chain of lakes, or try out the kayaks provided for your use. And when you're not outside, have some fun inside with a game of pool or ping pong. It's the perfect setting for larger groups. The space If you plan on bringing a boat, please let me know in advance so I can provide you with information on where to put it in for free. It's important to note that you'll need a chain sticker and must comply with all the regulations as there are authorities patrolling the waterways. Guest access You will have access to both homes that you are renting and the yard. The yard is shared with 4 apartments that are on the same property and they have access to the yard as well however I don't see them much. Other things to note Kayaks are available for anyone. You may see boats or other watercrafts on the docs, please do not touch them if they are not yours.

The space Our home is located at the end of a secluded drive with parking for 4 vehicles. The kitchen is supplied with all the essentials...pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, blender, coffee maker, microwave, crockpot, fridge, stove and dishwasher. Oil, salt and pepper is also provided. Dining room has table has seating for 8 and a breakfast nook has seating for 6. Living room has 60" TV with cable and Sony Streaming Blu-Ray/DVD Player with WiFi, along with sofa and love seat and a gorgeous view of the lake. Want some beach time? This property is in an HOA with a private beach on the Bay just a walk away. (Guest Pass required and included in your stay) Need a boat ramp and slip for your stay? No Problem, we have a boat ramp right next door at Jays Clubhouse, and this property has 1 private slip. We would not recommend any boats above 24'-25'. (Note - Its a narrow boat ramp, good enough for experienced boaters, but risky for inexperienced dockers.) To drop your watercraft, you can also use the Chain O Lakes State Park ramp, or use local marina ramps for a small fee (recommended). There is a door camera on the main entry door for your safety and security. There is also a Decibel meter on the property to help keep noise levels under local ordinance levels and keep the neighbors happy. There is a hot tub to enjoy under the gazebo in the back yard. Other things to note Yes, this home is pet friendly! Max up to 2 pets. A pet fee does apply. This home is right next to Jays Clubhouse Bar and Grill, and there is a certain level of noise from the music that can be heard, especially on the weekends. Bring your fishing gear. There is good fishing in Mineola Bay and in channels. Our kids catch large bass, catfish, bluegill and perch right off our pier in the back yard. This is a popular house for Naval families to visit and cheer on their boot camp grads since it is only a half hour from the Great Lakes Naval base. This home is designed safe and secure, and is equipped with a Smart Dead Bolt lock that controls check in and check out times, and has a door camera feature to make sure the correct guests are entering our home. All for your safety and to protect our home. (Winter Alert - Outdoor amenities will be limited in the winter obviously. All of the lawn furniture will have seasonal covers on them, the grill will be covered.)

It is $25 for your entire stay to use our wave runner parking or leave your boat tied up to our piers system. Please let us know far in advance to your check-in if interested. NOTE - It is important to note that the waters are open and waves can get pretty rough when larger boats go by, especially on the weekends. It is not recommended to keep your boat parked overnight at our piers, but to take it out on your trailer every night. When parked at the pier system in the day, make sure to have your boat properly tied up and all fenders sitting properly so your boat is not damaged from the crashing waves. Access to restaurants, bars, convenience and grocery stores, boat launches and more. Or hang out and soak in the sunshine while paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, swimming and nature hikes. The space The house is contemporary, renovated, and clean. You will be pleasantly surprised at how nice you feel when you walk in. Many guests send a note that it is "even better than they expected". The air conditioning and heat work great throughout the house and you will have no issues on the hottest days or cold nights. Besides the two main bedrooms, there is a comfy queen-size sleeper sofa downstairs, plus another room with plenty of cushions. All areas are nice and clean. Guest access We have 3-levels and 2-deck areas, plus the dock and lakefront. There is a Weber gas BBQ grill, a gas firepit on the upper deck plus a woodburning firepit by the lake. There are two parking spots. For "extra" cars, you will need to find a spot in town (about 1 mile away) where there is ample parking, and arrange for a ride back from friends, family or Uber. There is No Smoking allowed inside the residence, but there is plenty of outdoor space to relax however you like. Relax in the peaceful lakeside “Fisher House”. Updated kitchen, lake view, king bed, (2) double bed & queen sleeper. A great lake property for family fun, friends trip or romantic getaway. 350' of waterfront with 2 small beaches, floating piers & more. Swim, boat, kayak, ski & fish or take in the changing seasons from the sauna. We're in nature. Expect spiders/webs, bees, ants & mosquitoes. Though we clean just before your stay spiders can & will spin a web in that short time. The space Here is some basic information to make your visit more pleasant. Parking & Entrance: Entrance to the property is down a shared gravel driveway. At the end of the drive turn right into The Hideaway. Parking is located around the property and marked. You will receive a door code, use this code during your stay to enter the house. To open, press the Schlage logo and punch in your code. When you leave, close the door and press the Schlage logo to lock. Should you forget the door code, please call or text for assistance. Smoking, Candles & Safety Equipment: The inside of the home is smoke/vape/ecig free, you are able to smoke/vape/ecig on the property, but we ask that you do so by the fire pit. For safety, candles and open flame are not allowed unattended or overnight in the house. There is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink and the house is equipped with a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Television: We do not have broadcast or cable, you can watch your Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney+ from the smart TV. (login to your own accounts). Fire Pit & Deck: You have a private deck for your use and there is an outdoor fire pit in the backyard you are welcome to use. We currently have limited dry firewood on site for purchase, you can also purchase bundles locally. There is a possibility of moss growing on the pavement and deck which can make these areas very slippery, use caution on the deck, floating dock and paved areas. NOTE: Use of fire pit is at your own risk, do not leave children unattended when the fire pit is in use. Beach & Swimming: Guests may use either beach and swim from shore. Do not climb on the rock seawall, as the rocks are unstable and dangerous. Grass Lake is a shallow lake, on average only 3-6 feet deep. DO NOT DIVE or JUMP off the floating dock, as it is very shallow. Be aware of any boats arriving to or leaving the dock. Swim shoes are very highly suggested, as there may be rocks, branches, silt and other debris in the water. We do our best to remove old trash and any other debris we find. NOTE: Swimming is at your own risk, do not leave children unattended. Floating Dock & Fishing: Guests are welcome to use the floating dock and benches. Your reservation affords you one (1) guest boat slip during your stay. You can launch your boat across the lake at the Port of Blarney (fees apply) and may park your trailer in the grass area near the marsh, across from house #1. Fishing on the lakes is great with many species to catch. Be sure to get a fishing license before your stay. Triangle Sports & Marine located at Grass Lake & Hwy 83 has all your fishing needs. NOTE: Use of these areas is at your own risk, do not leave children unattended. Kayaks: Guests are welcome to use the kayaks on the property, these are locked and on racks near the floating dock. Lifejackets (PFD’s) are stored in the boxes near the dock, you must wear a PFD when using the kayaks. Adult supervision is required for everyone under 18 years old. Guests are responsible to follow all rules and laws when operating on the water. Damaged or lost items must be reported to the property owner. NOTE: You assume all responsibility and risk when operating the kayaks. Noise: Strict quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. There are other houses and host living quarters on the property. If excessive noise ever interrupts your stay, I am available by text and welcome feedback. Should you have the need for extended quiet hours, please let me know in advance. These items will clog a septic system and cause backups. Cabinets: There are a few locked cabinets with a "No Entry" sticker on the door. The yard is fenced in, with a fire pit and is shared with permeant residence and another house I air bnb but is yours to enjoy The space This is a cottage, Not a house. Its small and well kept but its no frills. Guest access You will have exclusive access to the home and its yard. Although the yard is shared with 4 apartments on the same property, you'll rarely see them. Please note that there is also an Airbnb home on the property, which may be occupied during your stay. We have over 250 feet of lakefront property located on a private canal where you can swim or fish peacefully. The main and open body of Lake Pistakee is the largest of the Chain O' Lakes with an area of over 1,700 acres and is only a mere 50 foot trip down our canal. This is your gateway to the larger access of the greater Chain O' Lakes area. Enjoy fishing, swimming, tubing, water skiing, kayaking, canoeing or a tranquil moonlight cruises on the water. Dine at one of the many area restaurants that also provide boat access, enjoy a horse ride at one of several nearby stables or look into the amenities of one of the numerous marinas. During summer days, they offer food, drinks , a great outdoor patio/tiki bar and boat docking. There is a gate connecting the 2 properties. This is a great addition if you are looking for fun stay.
