Amazing Boho Oasis Apartment in Ohio City

Ask about our short term rental options (1-12 mos). Experience Unmatched Comfort at this historic Ohio City cottage! Known for exceptional cleanliness and thoughtfully curated amenities, our well-appointed property offers everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay—from cozy bedrooms to modern conveniences. This cottage is located in downtown Ohio City, with everything you need on the first floor. Lofted second floor. One off street parking space! Locally owned and operated. The space ***Access to the parking pad*** Please read — This is an historic neighborhood built before cars dating back to the 1860s. Due to the configuration of the cottage, the distance between our house and the neighbor’s house is very tight and the driveway is narrow but, if you drive carefully, it’s not an issue. The driveway is also shared. Guests have gotten a F150 truck through with a couple inches on either side. The parking pad is very large and fits one car easily. Parking for a second vehicle is available on the street behind us which you can reach via a quick walk on the pedestrian walkway to the right of the cottage. The patio is in the back space. The entire backyard is fenced in and has bistro lights. Our street is also one lane wide, and one direction, heading west. It is considered a Court. This type of small one-way street was very common in Ohio City where the homes were densely built. The cottage is one of five in a row in a designated historic neighborhood. We strive for 100% full disclosure. ***Interior*** The interior is 1171 sq. feet. This cottage has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, with both bathrooms and ensuite laundry on the first floor. The queen bedroom is on the first floor at the front of the house. Two twin XL beds are in the loft accessed by a spiral staircase. We can provide a baby gate for the stairs if needed. A state of the art full-sized LG washer and dryer is located on the first floor in the second bathroom. We have fresh new towels, bedding, and mattresses! We give extra attention to all bedding and pillows for cleanliness and are allergen free. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire cottage and backyard. There is a rear stairway that leads to the back. Please make sure to use the can labeled with your unit number and lock the door behind you when coming back inside. Doors & Entry: The front door automatically locks, but it must be fully closed. If it doesn’t latch all the way, it can jam—so please double-check that all doors are fully closed when entering or exiting. Parking: There is free parking on West 48th Street along the side of the building. Do not park in the lot directly behind the Airbnb—that lot is private. You can also park on Lorain Avenue; just be aware of the street signs. Parking on Lorain is typically free after certain hours and on weekends. The posted signs or the city’s QR codes will show any payment requirements or restrictions.

Please note that our street is an alley style; if you are driving, we will provide directions to park on a main street that has easy access to a walkway to our home. There is no parking pad or driveway for our home, but parking is free and readily available. Our home has been updated throughout and setup with you in mind. Downstairs you'll enjoy our comfortable, bright living room equipped with a smart TV, games, and plenty of comfy seating. Just off the living room is the dining room and first floor bedroom which features a full size bed and bedside lighting. After the dining room you'll walk into our kitchen, with a full size refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, and plenty of other kitchen necessities. By the kitchen is a full sized bathroom with a tub/shower combo and washer/dryer as well. Heading up those lovely green stairs, you'll enter the lofted bedroom with fun angled ceilings and another full size bathroom. The living space extends outside onto our rear patio, which features relaxing chairs, a small gas fire pit, and a bistro table toward the back. We've worked with a local tile artist and painter to give you a cozy, artistic and unique retreat. The courtyard is sweet and private. Some of our guests have written books, made paintings, written songs, and found inner piece in our cozy space We think you will love our special touches like complimentary local coffee, tea, and goodies. We are also a great place to locate for theatre, all sorts of sports, basketball, football, hockey, baseball, Cleveland International Film Festival CIFF, etc. Guest access Guests have the whole house, but we would request that you only access the basement for emergencies, like the lights going out etc. Other things to note Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: We have always been meticulous cleaners and have now begun more intense cleaning in between guests.
