Wildlife may include flying insects, spiders, ants, squirrels, flying squirrels, mice, foxes, raccoons, opossums, skunks, snakes, turtles, coyotes, and black bears. Smaller creatures and insects can occasionally find their way inside depending on the outside conditions. We have monthly exterminator visits to minimize this, but being in the mountains, anything is possible. Additionally, please note that the mountain infrastructure differs from that of the city. Small wind or rain storms can occasionally cause power or internet outages in specific areas, including our home. Power outages may affect the water supply as we are on wells and the well pumps need power to work. Usually, these outages are restored within 8-10 hours, which is a quick turnaround given the weather conditions. For outages lasting less than 24 hours, no refund or compensation will be provided. For outages exceeding 24 hours, compensation will be issued on a case-by-case basis. The space Our two decks offer outdoor seating for everyone, a hammock and two umbrellas. Our indoors has a KING sleep # bed, 5 TVs Netflix/Disney+, AIR CONDITIONING, ceiling fans throughout, electric full size appliances, fully stocked kitchen, bar glassware, indoor & outdoor games, firepit (firewood provided), propane gas grill, dedicated WiFi, laundry, books, coffee/tea pots. We also offer 2 large sit on top kayaks and a 3 person canoe with life vests (adult size only), docked at the Marina. We do have a NO PET policy as one of our family members are highly allergic to animals, please understand because we love furry friends. Please also understand, we must charge a FINE if you bring your pet, for deep cleaning. This would include you to provide personal contact information and a photo of your ID and a selfie photo with your ID. - The Poconos is very prone to wintery weather and snow storms in the winter months. There’s plenty of seating in the open floor plan, including a breakfast bar and dining table. On the first floor, off the kitchen, is a pantry with a washer and dryer. The kids’ room can sleep up to 4 people with a bunk bed as well as a single bed with a pull out trundle bed.
