Garage and apartment above garage are not included in the rental, occasionally this apartment is owner occupied, it has it's own deck and separate entrance, your privacy will be well respected during your stay. A mile from Cloudland Canyon State Park, you won't lack things to do, or the opportunity to do nothing at all! The space The Rock House is a perfect place to relax and unwind. It is close to amenities, attractions, and the interstate, but feels secluded and private. Come here to rest, play, and soak in the views with your family and friends and find peace, healing, and restoration. The Rock House is setup to host your family, small group retreat, or crew weekend of mountain biking, hiking, or trail running. Each of the bedrooms has a theme based on the owner's favorite places to travel, and decorated with their professional photos of those places. The Maine Room is the Master Bedroom. It houses a king bed, a desk, and two barrel chairs facing the view. Please note that there is a sliding door in this room, and it is directly facing the cliffside with no fences, so use caution. The Maine Room has a large ensuite bathroom with a shower, and a walk-in closet off of the bathroom that is large enough for a pack and play, if you're traveling with a baby. The Jekyll Room also faces the view. It has a queen bed with storage drawers, a chair and ottoman, and a wardrobe for your clothes (no closet.) Right outside the door of Jekyll is a bathroom with a tub and shower. Though Jekyll has a sliding door that is great for the view, it is not to be utilized to go outdoors. The Montana Room has a queen bed on the ground level, and a twin bed in the Magical Loft overhead. The Magical Loft is the perfect place to curl up with a fantasy novel, letting the ceiling of stars immerse you into your story. The Montana Room has a closet, a storage ottoman, a storage bed, and two chairs. The Saguaro Room has a queen bed on the ground level, and a twin-sized bed in the Desert Loft overhead. The Desert Loft has a window facing the street and is another great place to read, nap, or sleep. The Saguaro room has a closet, a storage ottoman, and two chairs. The third loft is open to the living room and has two twin-sized trundle beds, for a total of 4 twin beds. The view is fantastic and the space is set apart, making it a perfect place for kids and teens to hang out, with their own couch, bean bag chairs, and a game table made from a safe. Safety and Mobility: Aside from the staircases going into the three lofts, there are multiple sets of 2-3 stairs (without handrails) throughout the house, so be aware of that for mobility needs. There are also multiple places where the house property has direct drop-offs. The views are incredible, but please use care, especially with young children. We're just moments from Mtn Biking, Hang Gliding, Lula Lake Land Trust, and Cloudland Canyon. Take the short drive to Chattanooga, TN for many other activities and great food scene. The space Four bedroom house on four acres of land in a country setting with beautiful views. Guest access Guest have full access to the house and all of the yard area in front of into the sides of the house. There are other buildings on the property with long-term tenants. This listing offers 2 separate apartment units (one above the other) that sleep a total of 12 people. Very ideal for two families traveling or for a group that wants space to spread out! Attached to this upstairs and downstairs apartment is the main house on the property that is also a vacation rental. You are not able access any of the units from the inside - there are 3 separate front doors to access the homes! Home Layout: The upstairs apartment (Magnolia) sleeps 6 people and has 1.5 baths. It has a full kitchen complete with basic cookware, glassware, and plate-ware. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds that have memory foam mattresses and smart TV's. There is a Jack n' Jill full bathroom in between the bedrooms and there is another a half bathroom in the hallway. Located in the half bathroom is a laundry room with a washer and dryer unit. The living room couch pulls out into a sofa bed that is a queen size bed.  The basement apartment (Dogwood) sleeps 6 people and has one full bath. It also has a full kitchen filled with basic cookware, plate-ware, and glassware. There are 2 bedrooms with queen bedrooms and memory foam mattresses. One of the bedroom's has a smart TV. Across from the bedrooms is a full bathroom. The couch in the living room is a sofa bed with a size queen bed. Both living rooms have large smart TV's and this airbnb has high-speed wireless internet throughout.  Parking: MAX amount of vehicles is 4! Shared Fire Pit: You are welcome to use the shared fire pit in the middle of the circle driveway. It is a shared space between the other vacation rentals on the property. You will need to bring your own camping chairs, lighter, and wood. Grill: There is a charcoal grill in the circle driveway as well! You will need to bring your own charcoal. The main house on the property has their own grill in their courtyard for them to use. Guest access Guests will have access to the upstairs and downstairs apartment! They will not have access to the main home attached. There is a fire pit on the property that is considered a shared space for the whole property! You will need to bring your own firewood, starters, and camping chairs if you would like to use it! Other things to note 1. This property sits up on top of a hill! There is a fairly steep asphalt driveway that leads to the top!  Any normal passenger vehicle should be able to make it to the home with no problems but 4x4 or all-wheel drive is recommended during icy conditions in the winter time. 2. Dog Rules: We ask for you NOT to leave your dog unattended and roaming in the home without you unless you leave it in a crate. All dogs must be on a leash while outside. Attached to this upstairs and downstairs apartment is the main house on the property that is also a vacation rental. We love the natural MCM look of the 1960s rancher and chose to lean into the uniqueness - by keeping the original green bathroom tiles, stained glass windows and beadboard basement. This home is spacious for groups of friends, multiple couples, children and (up to 3) well behaved pups. We do charge $60 per dog. THE 2ND FLOOR (ground level, top floor) -Includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (good for those who can’t walk stairs.) One bathroom is en-suite to the primary bedroom, and 1 bathroom is off of the main hallway. -This floor walks out to the amazing back-deck with a view of Lookout Mountain. The back deck faces West so you can see the most amazing sunsets. In the morning, you can enjoy your coffee/tea listening to the birds. -Deck includes two layout chairs, a 4-top metal table set with umbrella and two stackable chairs, a gas grill, chimenea, and stocked with firewood on the first floor. THE 1ST FLOOR (bottom level, walk out basement) -Includes one bedroom (this bedroom doesn't have a window), a living area with 3 separate beds (futon, twin trundle) - perfect for kids or a group of friends. -Includes brand new full bathroom with huge standing shower and STEAM SPA -Completely finished basement which walks outside to the brand new patio and fenced back yard / dog run. Extras: -Most rooms include a Smart TV. Both upstairs bathrooms include a Bluetooth speaker within the ceiling fan! -The house is on a water filtration system - all of the sink and shower water is completely filtered!
