The space Nestled on the border of towns of Hunter and Jewett, in Greene County on Route 23A, the home is conveniently located six miles from both Hunter and Windham Mountains. The house is situated on two acres in a rural landscape and offers spectacular mountain views. Other things to note Sauna Use and Safety Instructions- IMPORTANT: Never burn any type of paper inside the stove. To operate wood burning sauna you may only use small fire-starter stick, dried kindling and firewood. 1. Place kindling wood stick inside the stove leaving a gap in the middle for fire-starter. 2. Fire up both ends of the fire-starter stick and carefully place it between kindling sticks inside the stove. 3. Be careful of a burning fire-starter add more kindling wood on top of it. 4. Once kindling wood starts to burn, add larger firewood lugs, and continue adding more as they burn down, in order to reach desired temperature. IMPORTANT: Please remember to close the stove glass door tightly, in order to avoid any smoke escaping from inside the stove into the sauna. EXIT the Sauna immediately if you notice any smoke filling inside the sauna. Air it out properly by keeping the entrance door open, before going back in. The house sits on an acre and a half of land that has a large deck, an outdoor firepit and a little stream out back to explore. Situated on 10 private acres, our cozy home in West Kill, NY borders a stream & is a wonderful escape, ready to be explored any time of the yr — we're close to notable spots for hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques, the wonderful West Kill Brewery, Hunter Mtn. With high-speed internet (200 mbps) access, this is also your home office, away from home. We are kid friendly. We look forward to having you stay! The space Originally built as a one-room cabin, our cottage is approximately 1,500 square feet, including a large stone mudroom for your hiking, fishing, and ski gear. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home offers a large kitchen, dining area, an original stone fireplace, and a cedar sunroom, perfect for board games and puzzles, or curling up for an afternoon of reading. You'll also have access to our HBO Max guest account to stream TV shows and movies. You can also log in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Apple TV accounts on our new smart TV. Our Nest router and additional Nest Point provide a reliable high-speed internet (200 mbps) mesh network throughout the home — ideal for catching up on emails and plenty of video/conference calls if you need to check in with the office. The workspace in the master bedroom features a 47” desk, office chair, and a widescreen Dell monitor. To use the monitor, a mDP cable is needed (please bring your own cables). Our newly installed mini-split heating and cooling system provides a comfortable climate indoors, year-round. PLEASE NOTE: We are located in the Catskills, surrounded by forestry and wooded areas, and also home to many animals and critters, including deer, foxes, field mice, chipmunks, spiders, mosquitos, garden snakes, and other insects. While they are all harmless, such sightings are not uncommon. Please keep all doors to the home closed at all times, even if you're just popping out for a second. We love our home but recognize it's not for everyone. We work really hard to make each stay comfortable and welcoming, however, being as remote as we are, perfection isn't always possible. Guest access The cottage is the first property over the bridge (on the left) and at the bottom of a cul de sac. A car is needed to get to and from the cottage; our driveway can accommodate three cars comfortably. Please do not drive or park on the grass areas. Other things to note Kindly note: - Both bathrooms have showers; there is no bath tub - We recently planted new shrubs to protect the stream. Please be mindful of our tube plants! - Our area does not have cell service (time to unplug!); however, we do have Wifi service which can be used for calls - If you would like to bring along a pet, please reach out - we may be able to accommodate your furry friend(s)

Welcome to the West Kill Lodge! We invite you stay in our cozy quintessential log cabin with everything you love about the Catskills at your fingertips - amazing mountain views, close to skiing (Hunter & Belleayre) & hiking, a firepit, wood burning stove, a well-stocked kitchen, a brewery down the road, a plethora of board games, a ping pong table, a soaking tub & plenty of space for the kids to run around. We've got it all - come stay! The space Set on 5 acres with sprawling mountain view’s, the cabin has 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. Two bedrooms are on the first floor & share a full bath with an awesome soaking tub. On the second floor is the huge primary bedroom with separate bathroom and shower. The loft area is also home to a sleeping sofa. The first floor has an open plan kitchen/dining/living area with wood burning stove and smart TV. There are huge decks both at the front and back of the house & plenty of outdoor seating to make the most of the spectacular mountain views. Guest access Lock box on the front door There is plenty of parking Other things to note No shoes allowed inside, please remove & leave at the door. Pet fee is $65. Additional dogs are $50/dog up to a maximum of 3 dogs (small/medium breeds). We have AC units in the 3 bedrooms. We are several degrees cooler than the city as we are in the mountains. We also have stand alone fans and a ceiling fan. A 4WD vehicle is recommended in the winter months. We can get alot of snow.

Mountain Creek Cottage is a private 3 bedroom cottage on 30 acres of Catskills forest. There is a screened porch, deck and back yard with a Hot Tub and fire pit. Approximately 2.5 hours from NYC, Mountain Creek Cottage is a simple and relaxing escape. The space The cottage was built in 1950, but has just been updated and renovated. The cottage is very comfortable for up to 5 people, so we do not allow more than 5 guests. There is a glass-front wood burning stove for chilly nights, and a fire pit outside for summer and fall evenings. The cottage is on a renowned Catskill trout creek, so bring your fishing license and catch some fish. The cottage is located on 30 private acres for you to hike and explore, and is within walking distance or a short drive to several famous Catskill hiking trails. The cottage is 20 minutes from Phoenicia, Margaretville, Prattsville, and 25-30 minutes from Bellayare, Hunter, Tannersville and Windham. Guest access You will be able to use the entire cottage, as well as have access to the 30 private acres surrounding the cottage and the hundreds of acres of NY State wild forest directly adjacent to the cottage property. Well behaved dogs are allowed for an additional $25 cleaning fee. No cats allowed. Other things to note We now have Wi-Fi high speed internet service available! But please note that there is no cell phone service in this part of the Catskills, and we do not have a TV at the cottage. There is a phone in the cottage for your use. The phone number can be provided on request. We do allow max 2 dogs (up to 40lbs each), but you MUST inform us you are bringing a dog when you book.

Welcome to your cozy cabin getaway in the Catskills! We're nestled on 15 acres of hikable land on the side of the mountain, just a five minute drive from the Westkill Brewery, the famous Devil's Path hiking trail and Diamond Notch Falls. 17 miles from Hunter and 18 from Windham, Spruceton Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the entire Catskills w/ views for miles and hiking in abundance. The cabin is well set up as a retreat for a couple, a getaway for two couples or a family. The space A real log cabin on 15 acres of land. This is a true rustic getaway. You'll want to pack groceries in because it's about a 20 minute drive to the nearest grocery store but that's part of the charm. Work the week away with high speed Internet, enjoy our author-curated library, roast s'mores by one of two fire pits or do absolutely nothing at all. This is the perfect escape from city life for a little while. Guest access You have the run of the entire cabin, the five acres surrounding and an additional ten acres across the street. Other things to note Please note although we have high speed internet we do not have a TV. We use the house as an escape from our city lives and we have enough screen time right now! So if you do want to watch keep up with your NETFLIX shows then you might want to bring an ipad/laptop. Please note there is bear activity in the area, which is a lot of fun but does mean you need to be very careful to properly close the trash containers and NOT leave food or anything smelly sitting around outside the cabin (especially on the grill or picnic table). A fed bear is a dead bear! We have one full bathroom in the cabin and excellent quality drinking water - ice cold!

With an indoor stone fireplace, outdoor fire pit and panoramic mountain views, our 3 bedroom private cabin is a wonderful get away either alone, with friends or family. A great place to watch the abundant wildlife, leaf peep, hike, and unwind. The perfect home after skiing, offering peace, comfort, and unforgettable mountain memories for everyone. The space Minutes from the West Kill Brewery and Hunter and Windham Ski resorts - half hour from Woodstock. Entire Private house with a private Waterfall, stream and abundant nature. The house is newly renovated with a full kitchen, Wifi, laundry and propane/charcoal grills. Guest access Guests have access to our property grounds which includes many species of wildlife and fauna, a waterfall, 5 acres of wilderness, a fishing stream, an outdoor fire pit with wood to burn and amazing views. We have Wifi. If you need to arrange groceries (eggs, milk, cheese, butter, etc.), please make arrangements with us beforehand, and it will be there for you when you arrive. The closest supermarket is in Prattesville, about 12 miles away. We only book full weekends/weeks on holidays. Walk the property and enjoy the waterfall, or have a bonfire by starlight. There is also a charcoal grill, and a propane Webber grill - we provide briquettes but bring some in case you intend to grill often. Other things to note You will be renting the entire home. Please be mindful of leaving your shoes and wet clothing at the door. No Parties. Please do not remove furniture from the house, or patio. We have lawn chairs available outside. Please place keys under the welcome mat, and close the front screen door tight when you check out. In winter the roads are plowed within a few hours of snowfall. We are animal friendly, only well behaved dogs please. Please no grooming inside or outside the home. An additional fee of $50 will be added if there is a lot of dog hair.

The space There is no cell phone coverage for many miles around the cabin and you will lose coverage starting about 30 mins away regardless of your approach, but we have a great broadband connection, Wi-Fi covering the whole cabin, and a hardwired ethernet at the desk. Be sure to enable the "voice over WiFi" setting on your mobile phone so you can make & receive phone calls from the cabin. Guest access Guests can access all of the home except for the owner's closet in the primary bedroom, the pantry off of the kitchen, and the utility room adjacent to laundry room. Please do not attempt to enter these areas. The shed and small red cabin next door are locked up and off limits. Please respect property boundaries, identified with markers or signs. Other things to note IMPORTANT - We use 2 Airbnb features afforded to owners who manage their listing through approved software platforms: (1) a separate rental agreement directly with guests, primarily to ensure that guests acknowledge the risks inherent with water & hot tub on property, and (2) a security "hold" on a credit card administered through a secure, 3rd party (we won’t see credit card info), which is placed 2 days before check-in and released within 72 hrs after our cleaners confirm that the property was treated respectfully, left undamaged, and with no evidence of unregistered pets. Guest access Guests have full private access to the home, including the front and back porch, deck, yard, firepit area, and access to the nearby creek and pond. Free parking is available directly next to the house. Other things to note Please respect the quiet and peaceful nature of the property and surrounding area. Pet-friendly — just let us know what well-behaved pet you’re bringing. A $30 pet fee applies per reservation. The cabin uses filtered well water, which is safe to drink but may have a natural sulfur scent (common in rural homes). Bottled water is often provided, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
