The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. This three bedroom one and a half bathroom home is just minutes from fabulous downtown Columbus! Our home has a variety of concert posters hanging in each room and yes I have attended every concert from the posters you will see. The space This is an older 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom full basement (converted into a backlight game room) a washer and dryer very big gated back yard where your dog can run off leash. The carpeting is a bit outdated we have had it cleaned twice and are working to get it replaced soon but have spent a lot of time preparing to get this home ready for the wonderful guests that choose to stay. Come stay at our home in Southwest Columbus in a very accessible location to everything this city has to offer. Leave your packing to a minimum as this home is stocked with all the essentials for your stay. Also, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars in Grove City & about 15 minutes from downtown Columbus! Please keep in mind that the upstairs can be warmer in the summer months due to the age/design of the home. We have a window a/c unit & fan to help! The space This cape cod is full of charm while also being fully renovated. You will feel right at home and enjoy walking to the nearby shops and restaurants. Some of my favorites include Transcend Coffee, Planks, Blu Willy’s, Local Cantina and The Look on Broadway. *Please note that the upstairs can feel warmer due to design and age of home. There is a window unit upstairs to help with cooling. Guest access There is a one car garage that will be locked at all times (no access for guests) and fenced in yard on the premises. There is free street parking and a driveway that can fit multiple cars. Other things to note This is a quiet and quaint neighborhood in Old Downtown Grove City. There shall be no parties or extra guests permitted on the property during your stay. If there are more cars or guests than allotted for in your booking, we will have to cancel the remainder of your stay without refund. The first floor also boast original hardwood flooring and ample space for you and your family. 2nd Floor- Up on the 2nd floor you'll find a private bedroom with a newer bathroom that was just put into this house. There is also a large, oversized closet with a sitting chair and lamps/extra blankets. Step out and you'll see the loft area which has two twin beds, and another oversized closet where there is a private desk/chair. Designed as a workspace and also as a reading room when you might need a little time away to relax on your own. Typical of older homes, the staircase has a low ceiling. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms. The front bedroom has a queen sized bed and a 40” 1080p ROKU smartTV, the second bedroom has a full sized bed and a smartTV and the back bedroom has a queen sized bed and a smartTV. The office has space for a queen size blow up mattress. Just let me know and I’ll prepare the blow up mattress. This property is ideally suited for people who don’t mind the charm of an older home. It is true the wallpaper seams are viewable but hopefully this shouldn’t affect your sleep or prevent you from enjoying the comfy amenities. The property is competitively priced. Simply go to the booking calendar and plug your dates and # of occupants. It will give you an itemized breakdown based on the number of guests (fees, taxes) before making the booking. Group pricing: for bookings of 3 or more occupants, there is a $25 per person per night charge. Guest access Please remove shoes at the door and wear socks throughout the house. Please only eat in the kitchen to prevent food and drink spills on the carpet. Coffee/tea/bedside chocolates are provided complimentary, however, I do ask you to reimburse me with grocery money for any wine, beer, food or snacks from the kitchen that you consume. There is a .10 charge per page for black and white prints and .20 charge per page for color prints. Guests technically have access to the fenced backyard but I ask guests not to use that space currently. The backyard is shared with the other adjacent unit. Guests can park their car on the public street free of charge (no garage). This is an energy-efficient property. I do not allow utilities to be wasted. I have smart plugs and a Wi-Fi thermostat to control costs. The smart plugs turn some lights on at dusk (no need to leave lights on all day long) and the smart plugs help me remotely control the AC window units. I set the wifi thermostat to an appropriate temperature when the home is vacant while you are away during the day. Exterior cameras are on the premises. Please do not park in front of my neighbor’s blue home. Other things to note When going upstairs it is necessary to duck your head. There is a low ceiling in the middle of the staircase. I use Tide detergent to wash the bed linen/body pillow. I use a regular fabric softener. If you prefer no fabric softener, please provide this information in your correspondence. I use an ink free/fragrance free toilet paper. For longer 7+ days reservations: I offer cleaning services at an additional $80 per visit. This includes laundering bed linens/towels, vacuuming, light dusting and washing the dishes. Number of Guests: I ask that all my guests be honest and accurate in the number of guests occupying my home. Utility expenses add up for larger groups. My property is priced competitively and fairly.
