Charge your EV with a 240 volt outlet near the garage The space The lighthouse room leads to a small loft above - perfect for children (above 4) to explore. Parents love the master bedroom with a window seat overlooking the lake and a large bath tub-sized jacuzzi. You'll enjoy peonies, lilies or dahlias depending on the month of your stay. Two steps down will bring you to the lawn level; an additional six steps bring you to the lake level. A dock is ready for fishermen; a mooring awaits your boat! Ideal location in the Village of Skaneateles. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home was newly remodeled inside and out in 2020. 30 days is the minimum rental period per the Skaneateles village code. The space It is conveniently located on a quiet residential street and is just over 3 blocks to the lake and all the village amenities. The backyard opens into FC Austin Park with tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, volleyball nets, a walking track, a giant playground, and tons of green space. The YMCA with a fitness center, gymnasium, aquatic center complete waterslide and splash playground, and two all-season NHL hockey rinks is right next door. You can swim at the public beach in one of the cleanest lakes in the world. It is a short and quiet walk to the village center full of unique shops, numerous 4+ star restaurants, and concerts by the lake on Friday nights in the summer. Skaneateles also hosts the Curbstone Festival the 3rd weekend in July, the Skaneateles Antique and Classic Boat Show the last weekend in July, the Skaneateles Festival in August, and Skanraces Labor Day weekend. The famous Dickens Christmas runs the day after Thanksgiving through the end of December where the village comes alive with Dickens characters that interact with visitors in the heart of downtown or when just stopping by the grocery store for a few items. It is truly the best time to bring your family if you do not make it during the summer! Settle into this spacious 3600 Square foot Lakehouse situated at the end of a Private Lane. Great house for entertaining family and friends for a week or weekend! Take advantage of a quiet picturesque setting with magnificent views of Skaneateles Lake! The space Guests enjoy an attached deck, front lawn, and staircase down to their own private dock. ***Docks will not be put in until end of May when weather is permitting. We will do our best to keep the docks in the water until late September or the first week in October but no guarantee. We are pet friendly but we do charge pet fee and there is a limit of the amount of pets. Guest access Private backyard, outside grill, and dock & gazebo down and the lake Other things to note We also own the cottage across from the Lakehouse which is also available for rent. It has its own path along the side of the house, private stairs and dock space for our lake cottage guests. We are pet friendly however we require a pet fee. Please also keep your dogs on leashes and pick up after them. Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or beds. Garbage and Recycle bins are across the way on the right side of our lake cottage driveway. No smoking of any kind on the property-if we find that you did smoke we will keep your security deposit. There is no guarantee that we can have an early check in, especially from May 1st to October 1st. Docks will not be put in until the end of May weather permitting and come out by the end of September. All boats need to be approved prior to bringing or renting. Please note that our docks are not equipped to tie off/ dock a boat. Boats will need to use our mooring for overnight accommodation. We do have a gas grill however guests are responsible for propane refills. We recommend Tops or Ace Hardware to swap out tanks. We don't allow parties at all. We have neighbors and we want to be respectful of those neighbors . If there is a party, we will take from your security deposit. This is a family home and we care deeply about the home. We hope that you will respect our home, be kind to it, and clean up after yourself and your guests.

Skaneateles Family Lakehouse - East Lake Sunsets!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and secluded property with shared lakefront, just five miles from the Village of Skaneateles. Brookside Cottage is a three bedroom home located on Five Mile Point, a private road on the east side of Skaneateles Lake. The space The house has one first floor bathroom and a total of three bedrooms: a first floor bedroom with a queen bed and two second floor bedrooms, one with two twin beds, and one with a queen bed. The property includes a fire pit area, large lawn and backyard stream. Enjoy grilling on the deck, swimming, fishing, hiking, and beautiful sunsets. The 74 feet of shared level lakefront with gradual entry is ideal for kids. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for use. Guests should bring their own beach towels. Linens, pillows, bath towels and other essentials are provided. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage and the 1/3 acre property it is located on, as well as the shared lakefront area which is a short 2-3 minute walk away. The lakefront area is shared by a few properties at Five Mile Point and has a designated dock for renters where you may moor a boat should you choose to rent one. The Second Bedroom This inviting bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements with two extra-long twin beds, perfect for kids or sharing. 2 Dressers for all storage needs. The cottage has its own 45 feet of private lake frontage featuring an oversized permanent dock and an additional seasonal wooden dock excellent for swimming, fishing, kayaking and relaxing lakeside. After a full day of water activities, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the boathouse deck. With the addition of a brand new deck next to the boathouse rooftop patio, there is plenty of space to spread out and relax in the sun or in the shade. All outdoor furniture is top of the line and brand new including a Weber grill, Solo Stove bonfire pit, Outer couch and chairs, and Polywood Adirondack chairs and dining table. At dusk, enjoy a bonfire on the dock under the stars while listening to the waves crash right in front of you. Our waterfront provides the ultimate lake life experience. Inside, the cottage has been completely remodeled while still preserving its vintage charm. The cottage features a brand new, fully stocked kitchen featuring semi custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel Bosch appliances, under cabinet lighting, and a small mudroom nook. Our proximity to the lake is certainly unique. Off of the dining room is a completely remodeled bathroom with a luxurious tiled, walk in shower and stackable laundry. The cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 guests. The main bedroom is off the kitchen. It has been renovated with shiplap walls and a new ceiling fan. Guests will enjoy sleeping on the new queen sized, organic mattress from Avocado. This main bedroom is cute and cozy. The second bedroom is in the sleeping loft, which is only accessible by ladder. The loft features a low ceiling, 2 twin beds and a lounge area with a low profile couch and TV making it a great place for kids. All mattresses and bedding are brand new. The cottage is our happy place. We can't wait to share it with you. It is the ideal place for a couple's getaway or a small family. Please note, if you intend to invite daytime visitors, the maximum number of people allowed onsite is 8. Guest access Guests have full access to our lakefront property. This includes the use of the house, docks, decks, boathouse, and mooring. During the off season from November-April, guests will not have access to the seasonal dock or to the boathouse couch and chairs. Please do not pull them out of storage. Private room with queen size bed and en suite bathroom. House is surrounded by perennial gardens and is located on a lane off East Lake Road. Easy walking distance to the lovely lakeside village of Skaneateles, eastern gateway to Finger Lakes and supervised access to lake rights. The space My house is situated on a private lane which ends at our shared lake frontage with a stony clean beach area and Adirondack chairs for relaxing. Skaneateles Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the country and is the major source of water for the city of Syracuse. It is a quiet setting since I am off the main road. The deck in the back is also a nice escape and is furnished with a comfortable glider and chairs. Other things to note Finger Lakes highly praised wineries only a day trip away. Great selection of restaurants downtown, only a half hour walk from my house. Can launch Kayak in Cliff Park.
