You'll enjoy lounging on the front deck by the pool and taking a quick dip in the water, too. The rec room offers a pool table, ping pong table and mini shuffleboard. One of the things we enjoy most about our home is preparing a delicious meal and sitting at the table, on the back deck, which overlooks the pond, taking our time enjoying the food, view & company. We ask that you respect our neighbors with quiet time between 10pm and 8am. We love our neighbors, so make sure that when we return, we will get good reports about our guests! Thank you! NO PARTIES. They are both locked and can only be entered with a four digit code. This security feature is in place to ensure children do not access the poolroom unless under supervision. We require that an adult serve as lifeguard when in the pool room. This person will not be swimming, but rather keeping watch over persons in the pool at all times. Whenever the lifeguard leaves the room, they must transfer the responsibility to another adult, who will serve as lifeguard, and will not swim. Please respect the danger of the water at all times. Pond: No swimming as the bottom is muck. The yard by the pond is a great place to play yard games and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. Other things to note - USBR 35 (Lakeshore Drive) at the end of our driveway. -We have two adult 21 speed bikes for your use. - Public boat launch only 1.5 miles north. - Numerous parks & hiking trails within 10 miles. - Grand Haven State Park 13.5 miles north. - Holland State Park 8.5 miles south. - Saugatuck Dunes State Park 20 miles south. - No loud music outside. - Life jackets must be worn by all persons if kayaking on pond. We have several life jackets, for both adults and children, available for your use. We offer an open floor plan that allows groups to gather in comfort and style. BEDROOMS  Groups of up to 10 people can sleep comfortably in our home. Enjoy the most popular beach in Holland while having your private house & 200 feet of private water frontage. Watch the sunset over Lake Michigan from the screened porch or on the sandy front "yard". In chilly seasons flip a switch to turn on the gas fireplace and watch the snow fall from the modern cozy livingroom. Note: there are about 35 steps to the home. The space You can see the lighthouse from the living room, porch, dining room, and kitchen. You'll be where all the tourists want to be, but have your private slice of heaven and privacy. The views of the sunset over Lake Michigan are incredible! In the colder season, enjoy the central fireplace while having breakfast in the dining room or a glass of wine while reading a book on the cozy sofa. There's plenty of room for multigenerational families or friends to spend time together, yet the house is big enough to have your own space. This is such a special area of Holland. If you can traverse about 35 steps and an uneven boardwalk, once you're at the house you won't want to leave for more than a beach walk or to walk to the General Store or hike Mt. The space Located in historic Ottawa Beach Community, our personal vacation home is very well equipped with almost everything a family needs. Large outdoor patio, tables, chairs, gas grill, beach wagons, towels, toys, and more. Very clean and comfortable. Our beach house is less than 10 years old and is very clean, very well maintained, nicely furnished, and fully equipped for comfortable living, vacationing, and enjoying time together. The beds are newer and comfortable with high quality linens and towels provided. Central air keeps things cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Five bedrooms and 3.5 baths. A master bed/bath is on the main floor, along with an extra half-bath off the kitchen. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Downstairs has a queen bedroom, full bathroom, and kids room/playroom with twin over full bunks along with a second family room with 65" TV and kitchenette. The kitchen on the main floor is fully stocked and includes nearly everything you need to cook great meals including quality knives, pots/pans, silverware, dishes, cups, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, french press, crock pot, etc. Appliances include dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, oven, and a Weber gas grill and grill tools outside on the oversized patio with seating for 10-16. Enjoy high speed wireless internet, Sonos speakers in almost every room, and both TVs have Roku. There are no TVs in bedrooms and cable is provided by You Tube TV. Both TVs have a Roku for streaming your Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. Gas fireplace in the winter, and in the summer grill out on the patio. Go to the beach with plenty of items in the garage, including two big beach wagons, kids’ toys, corn hole, Bluetooth speaker, umbrella, and much more. When you get back, there's a shower outside. If you need it, there’s a huge top-of-the-line LG washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and most other household appliances you might need. This is our own personal family vacation home. The aesthetic of the home is modern and cozy, and it’s filled with unique touches such as beautiful handcrafted banisters, stunning floors through the main living space, skylights, and stunning warm pine walls surrounding the living room. Our cozy, yet spacious cottage has everything for a relaxing getaway - lots of individual areas to retreat to and loads of lounging/seating space for groups to connect inside and out. There are board games, three large TVs with Netflix and cable, a firepit, grill, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Outdoor activities nearby: mountain biking, road biking, running on paved paths directly in front of the house, hiking and more!. This house is 3k sq ft (we host a 4k sq ft. space nearby, "Haven Woods"). The space As frequent guests of other AirBnBs, our space has been carefully curated to include things we've loved along our journeys - clean, modern spaces, all the amenities luxury hotels offer, and items we would want in our own home. This space has a mix of "modern farmhouse, mid-century and Scandinavian" influence. Also, we have thought about the outdoor spaces and stuff for kids to enjoy (games as well as hang out areas inside and out). Guest access Winter guests will enjoy: A wood stove in the main living room A large home for groups, but with three distinct cozy gathering spaces to watch movies/tv, play games, etc. (one on each floor) A large dining table to fit all your guest together Lots of outdoor space for building snowmen and enjoying the outdoor fire pit with a glass of red wine or hot chocolate Keep your car and skis in the two car attached garage Summer guests will enjoy: Outdoor, private dining table for six Huge gas grill (back up tanks in the garage) Separate area with eight chairs and a fire pit Large front porch with two rocking chairs and a table for to set your lemonade as you watch the sun set over the front lawn Other things to note There is a $250 an hour early/late check out fee. This charge will be added if the cleaning crew arrives at 10 am and you have not left or if you arrive before 4 pm. We aren't trying to be unreasonable, but managing the crew and (almost every group requesting an early check in and/or out) we have to try to control costs and staffing changes.
