Once inside the main floor consists of an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The dining room table seats 4 and the bar has 4 stools as well. On the first floor, there is also a bedroom with a full size bed and bathroom across the hall. The full bathroom features a tub/shower and stackable washer and dryer. The back door leads to a screened-in porch with a separate outdoor shower. The upstairs loft area overlooks the living and dining area. In the loft there is a queen size bed. Outside the property also features a covered shelter with a picnic table, fire pit, and a pond. Pets ok The space This is not a shared space. Your rental includes the Songwriter Suite Studio Apartment with Kitchette and the 40 seat Listening Room. There is a fully equipped, 40 seat listening room available for you to enjoy included in your rental, all for you and your guests. We have 2 Bose L1 x32 towers with subwoofers in an acoustically balanced room. If you are not a performer, you can listen to your own music through our incredible sound system. Dance like no one is watching.... The Songwriter Suite is a huge, luxurious studio with a Queen bed and a Full daybed as well as a Twin daybed and two full baths. *You can comfortably sleep up to 5 people. There are 2 Full bathrooms. There is a fridge, coffee/ tea maker and microwave in the kitchenette. There is also a “red carpet” and backdrop to take photos. Pet Friendly. We love pets! We do not charge a pet fee. Guest access You have access to the apartment and the music venue. The studio apartment sleeps 5 people comfortable in 3 beds. The music venue has 40 seats and both are included in your Airbnb. Despite its convenient location, the farmhouse is set back off the road in a quiet, peaceful farm setting—offering a relaxing stay with easy access to all the attractions in the Natural Bridge State Resort Park area without the hassle of long drives. Noise Note On weekdays, some guests have mentioned occasional truck noise from a nearby UPS facility. However, most note that it is minimal and does not impact their stay. For added comfort, two white noise machines have been provided in the home. Construction Notice As of August 2025, construction has begun on a new building on an adjacent lot in front of the farmhouse. Work is expected during daytime hours. House Rules No Pets We love animals, but to maintain a clean and allergy-friendly environment for all guests, pets of any kind are not permitted. Bringing an animal onto the property will result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund, along with a $200 pet fee. No Smoking or Vaping Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the home. Evidence of smoking indoors or improper disposal of cigarette waste on the property will result in a $300 cleaning fee. No Events or Unauthorized Guests Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. Day visitors require prior approval, and additional guest fees may apply. Does a treehouse vacation sound inviting but cramped? Then you'll love our quaint cottage with a spacious deck overlooking the forest! This older home has been reclaimed from the wild and is decorated with antique and vintage finds, lending a "cottage-core" or "grandma-core" feel. We think you will find it enchanting as you are serenaded daily by a variety of wild birds. Although you'll be hidden away in the trees, you may hear traffic and farm activity. 4WD or AWD required year round! The space Nan's Cottage on Songbird Hill is located in the forested area of our spacious farm. We raise cattle and keep chickens. We also grow a big garden. Our specialty is tomatoes! This is a working farm, so you may occasionally hear a tractor, lawnmower, etc. We have two large and very friendly dogs who may wander up to visit. Because farm animals can be unpredictable, we do not allow guests to bring pets. Guest access Besides the cottage, there are lots of surrounding woods to explore. We are in Estill county, where agate can be found in local creeks and streams! Other things to note 4-wheel or all-wheel drive are necessary to access the cottage. The driveway may become impassable in extreme weather, resulting in cancellation. This shouldn’t happen often. No pets We have a hiking loop featuring 2 small ponds on the property, where you can look for wildflowers, fungi and other wildlife! The cottage features a slight split level design with three steps separating living room and kitchen. Please do not smoke in the cottage. We have a full-sized bed and a king-sized bed. The couch reclines on both ends, which may be suitable for some for sleeping--you decide.

Down the hallway on the right is the master bedroom with a queen bed, a ceiling fan, many pillows, and 2 large closets. In one closet you will find extra lawn chairs. The other closet has extra blankets, an iron and ironing board, and a fan. Laundry room is on left. Washer and dryer use upon request. On the left is the kitchen which has; pots, pans, blender, coffee pot, coffee grinder, french press, pour-over coffee and kettle, meat thermometer, wine opener and wine glasses, some spices and condiments. Coffee, assortment of teas, cream and sugar are provided. Just off the kitchen is a countertop bar, where you can watch your dinner being prepared and enjoy a cocktail, or sit at the custom table built by the host. The hallway opens up to a living room, with a sofa, chair and a gliding rocker, smart TV, blue ray player, vinyl record player with records, books and cards/games to play. There is a double-door in living room to view the sunrise or sunset in the comfort of the home, or sit on the deck to enjoy the great outdoors. Extra parking; on gravel or on the cement near garage door. To UNLOCK door, enter the number on keypad, wait a second and you will hear the lock move, the door will be unlocked. A family-friendly farm that offers opportunities for couples, families or small groups to create special memories. Our farm is also the perfect place for unique family adventures, family reunions, retreats, parties of any type and intimate weddings - all in an idyllic country setting (events charged separately). We offer educational tours and introductions to our animals for guests that are interested. The space The guesthouse has only one bedroom which has a queen bed, and there is a full-size bed in a cozy sleeping nook behind a sliding barn door in that bedroom. There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, although any interaction with the animals must be with the host present. There is a private grill, outdoor seating and a small dining area on the front porch of the cottage. However, guests should feel free to use the shared courtyard under the party lights and a fire pit area with swings for gathering together as well. Guest access The main home front porch and shared courtyard area with party lights is open for guests to enjoy. There is a pond with a dock on the back of the property for those that might like to do some catch-and-release fishing or swimming or use the paddle boats. Any activities while at the pond are at a guest’s own risk and children must have parental supervision, as there is no lifeguard. Other things to note Please keep in mind this is a working farm complete with chickens, ducks, geese, goats, alpacas that sometimes create noises, make messes and procreate, oh my! You will also encounter bugs (bring spray), loads of toads/frogs and lizards, occasional turtles, wild turkeys, deer, raccoons and you may even see a snake - although this is rare thanks to our chickens. For your safety and the safety of our animals, guests should never enter fenced paddocks or animal buildings or enclosures without the host present. Also, our animals are on very specific diets, so we ask that you not feed them anything that we have not provided to you or approved beforehand.

At the gateway of the Red River Gorge Geological Area, Dappled Grey is just a couple miles from the center of Stanton. Situated on 20 acres of woodland, this cabin reflects our love of horses! The huge windows, long porches and deck, creates a stunning setting to enjoy your vacation. Grill and dine out on the back deck which overlooks the wooded hillside. Relax and enjoy the spacious, private hot tub. The space Dappled Grey is newly built with an old world charm! With terracotta tile floors, knotty pine walls, 9ft tall ceilings, and long, shady porches with potted plants, this spacious cabin is one of a kind. Huge windows and sliding glass doors are set throughout the entire house, making it airy and bright. The lighting is absolutely magical, with the vista of the woods in all its seasonal colors filling the cabin with a sense of peace and serenity. One cabin, Larkspur, 200 feet from Dappled Grey. Kettlestone house is 100 feet from Dappled Grey. We have added outdoor roll down rattan blinds on the back deck of Dappled Grey for added privacy. Guest access You have the whole cabin to yourself and the immediate parking area just outside the cabin. The front and side grassy yard is exclusively you to enjoy. If you'd like a short hike, follow the gravel road on our 20 acres, which goes by other cabins and follows the ridge-line. This turns into a path in the woods and joins the gravel road (this is a full loop 1/2 mile loop around the property open to all our guests). Just opposite the cabin on the other side of the drive you'll see the Dappled Grey fire pit. Feel free to get wood from the forest around. Other things to note The primary guest making the reservation must be 21 years of age or older. Pets are welcome. Bring a crate to keep your pet contained at night. We do not allow pets on the beds! Located on the edge of Red River Gorge Geological Area in 20 acres of peaceful woodland and rolling hills, our property has the perfect blend of accessibility and seclusion. Enjoy birds at the porch feeders, and all the flowers blooming in the garden in the summer . Enjoy the hot tub! It's just 15 minutes from the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park and 5 minutes from Stanton for shops and restaurants. The space Larkspur Cabin has two covered porches. The front porch with a love seat and two chairs, overlooks a large lawn, fire pit and the riding ring. We have free-range chickens that roam our property! The private and secluded side deck has a 4 person hot tub. In the summer, enjoy the perennial garden with butterfly bushes and roses. Take advantage of the outdoors on beautiful days with a campfire and charcoal grill. There is plenty of private parking space next to the cottage. The cottage is set 300 ft away from the main house (where we live) and 200 feet from Dappled Grey, the other cabin on our property. A barn separates the cabin from the house, adding more privacy and seclusion for our guests. Feel free to hike the gravel road and forest path to make a loop around our 20 acres. Guest access The entirety of Larkspur Cabin is solely for guest use. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn, grill and bonfire area outside the cottage. Other things to note The primary guest making the reservation must be 21 years of age or older. Pets are welcome. There are 2 single beds in the loft space. However, there is little sound insulation between the rooms, making Larkspur ideal for families with children, but not so ideal for two couples. Other things to note Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) are provided. Pets are allowed at this cabin. We charge a flat pet fee of $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add any pets to your reservation. If you do not see where to do so, reach out to us so we can apply our pet fee There is a gas grill that uses natural gas from the house, we ask guests to please close the valve after every use. We do not sell or provide firewood. This cabin utilizes city water and is safe for all uses. For pet friendly cabins, we charge a baseline pet fee for up to two pets. Cottage on the Hill at Harmony Hollow is surrounded by nature and quiet in beautiful Red Lick Valley. Hike 250 acres of deep woods in pure solitude, go rock hunting in the creek or mushroom hunting in the hills, watch horses on the property peacefully grazing, enjoy the view from the fish pond, or just take solace in the peace and quiet of the cottage. The space Cottage on the Hill was designed by my mother as her retirement dream home. Our close friend, who also built all our other buildings, built her home to her exact specifications. She filled it with thousands of her beloved books spanning her favorite topics of world religions, history, science, philosophy, and classic fiction and surrounded herself with beautiful views in a quiet, secluded space. A large portion of her library focuses on matriarchal and nature based religion, which may be uncomfortable for guests with a conservative religious belief system. If you fit this description, our Cottage may not be for you. While there are a few steps to the porch, the interior is one level and set up for guests with mobility difficulties. If you’ve read reviews that the cottage gets hot, don’t worry... we’ve added even more air conditioners! Our goal is to ensure you get the rest and relaxation you’re hoping for and we’re happy to make improvements where possible to make sure you’re comfortable. We love to share the beauty and magic of this place! Guest access Guests have access to 250 mostly wooded private acres of beautiful hiking in the woods and through a rock-filled, slate bottom creek. Plenty of rock hunting and foraging opportunities for guests! There is a horse and 2 dogs on the farm who like to meet our guests. Our dogs take their job of protecting the property seriously and are free to roam, sometimes howling or barking at night to keep critters away. Our property is not recommended for guests who aren't comfortable with animals, bugs, or wilderness. Trails are not marked and may be impassable in the summer. A Level 2 EV car charger is on the property and available for guests to charge their electric vehicle. It is located down the hill from the cottage. Other things to note This is a farm with a horse, dogs, chickens, bugs in the summer, and mud in the Spring. We love this lifestyle and we hope you will enjoy it too! Most of our 250 acres are "deep woods". If you've never hiked outside a state or city park before, it is a unique experience to trailblaze through deep woods. Trails are not well marked and may not be passable in the middle of summer when the woods become overgrown. But during other seasons there is nothing like discovering places no one may have walked in years where no one will cross your path. If you want clearly marked trails there are many in the area we can direct you to (a few listed below) There is a tv in the cottage but it does not have cable or satellite. There is a blue-ray/DVD player and a smartTV to access your streaming accounts. This A-Frame is a perfect getaway located on lower level (top floor will not be occupied during your stay), offering your own private use hot tub and sauna! The property also has an upper deck and patio. Stylish decor creates an aesthetically pleasing environment to rest in. The space The property has a kitchen, living room, laundry room, full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has a huge couch with ottoman making it possible for another place to sleep for one or two. Experience a peaceful stay in this quiet and comfortable retreat. The space Welcome to our Cedar Cabin Retreat, a historic and cozy getaway on a former tobacco farm. This cabin was built on the foundation of a 100-year-old tobacco stripping room and has been renovated for your comfort. You will enjoy the views of the pond and the hills from the floor to ceiling windows. You will also have access to fish in the pond on a catch and release basis. Just bring your poles, and we'll provide the chairs. The cabin is next to a large gray barn that we live in, but we respect your privacy and will only interact with you if you need us. You may see our friendly dog Sugar roaming around the property, as well as some wildlife like deer, foxes, and rabbits. We own about 20 acres of land that you can explore and relax in. Guest access The cabin and patio are yours to enjoy privately, including the hot tub, accessible exclusively via French doors in the cabin living room. Additionally, there is a firepit in the yard with camp chairs stored inside the cabin for this purpose. Additional firewood is stacked in front of the barn if you need more.
