The space This is a basement apartment, so please note that the ceilings are around 6.5–7 feet tall. There is a private entrance on the side of our home that guests will use. In addition, there are 2 stairs that lead from the entrance into the space. Our space includes a living room equipped with a Netflix-enabled TV, a bedroom with spacious closets, an office area ideal for remote working, and kitchenette. The kitchenette has a portable induction dual burner stovetop and a microwave for any light cooking during your stay. In addition, it has a full fridge, french press and electric water kettle. You will also have access to a laundry room with a washer and dryer, free of charge! Guest access There is a private entrance on the side of our home that guests will use. Other things to note Our 1900 Craftsman home is built so that you will be able to hear some foot traffic above the basement space. We are mindful of any guests staying with us and are fairly quiet when we are home. Quiet hours are also observed. The basement space shares a furnace with the main floor, so just let us know if you'd like the temperature warmed or cooled. However, we've found that the basement stays comfortably cool during the summer and warm in the water. We are happy to adjust the temperature if requested and also provide a space heater that heats up the space quickly! No dedicated parking space for the Airbnb, but there is free street parking in the neighborhood. We have a desk with a monitor you can use if you’re working from home. We have all amenities you would find at a hotel: towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, hangers, etc. to name a few. A clean, quiet, and comfortable bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and laundry. With its own separate entrance, you can have as much privacy as you like. A great walking neighborhood between Fremont and Wallingford... easy bus access everywhere else. Free and safe street parking. The space I do a fair amount of business travel and I tried to create the kind of environment I like... a clean, quiet, comfortable and private space. It's designed for people who are looking for the conveniences of a nice hotel set-up: a comfortable bed, a kitchenette, a new bathroom/shower, fast WiFi, a desk with plenty of outlets for charging all your "stuff", a TV w/ Netflix, etc. There's also a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. The room is tastefully decorated with warm wood trim and art from my personal travels. I included a vintage stereo w/ a turntable and an eclectic stack of albums to dig through. The kitchenette area adjacent to the bedroom is for making coffee, breakfast, and other light meals. There's a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, etc. However, it's not meant for serious cooking. You also have your own private little outdoor seating area with a cafe table for drinking your morning coffee or reading. The space The cottage is located above a private one-car garage (for mid-sized SUVs or smaller - street parking available for larger vehicles.) A high-end Crate and Barrel sleeper sofa is available as a second bed in the living room to create a 2-bed sleeping configuration for up to 3 guests. A 15-minute walk from Lake Union and Gas Works Park, this bright, quiet garden-level suite sits at the crossroads of Fremont and Wallingford — two of Seattle’s most walkable neighborhoods, where cafés, shops, and great restaurants are all right at your doorstep. Inside: a private entrance, in-unit laundry, and a cozy den with a 65” TV and Lovesac couch. Downtown, Ballard, Capital Hill, and Univeristy of Washington are all accessible by bus, or a 10-15 minute Uber. The space Located on a quiet, tree-lined residential street in Fremont, this garden-level suite occupies the entire lower level of a historic Seattle craftsman home. Guests have their own private entrance and full privacy—no shared spaces. Inside, you’ll find a bright bedroom with a queen bed and spacious closet, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, in-unit full-size laundry with brand new appliances, and a luxurious den perfect for unwinding with a movie after a day of exploring Seattle.
