The hallway leads to a full size bathroom, pocket door for privacy and 2 sinks. The laundry room is across the hall from the bathroom complete with washer and dryer and counter space to fold clothing. The first bedroom at the end of the hall has a full size bed with a bunk bed across from it. Closet and dresser open. The bedroom to the the left is the largest with a queen size bed and a full size futon. There is a large walk in closet for your use. The home, built in the 1940s, has been recently renovated with new flooring, a modern color palette and new furniture. The property is on City utilities so has reliable water, sewer, WiFi and electricity (including central heat and A/C). The cabin features a lakeside living room with fireplace and a beautiful view of the lake, dining room table for six, a fully equipped and stocked kitchen with two breakfast bar stools for additional seating. For bedtime, there is a king bed in the master, a queen bed in the second bedroom, a full-size bed with twin trundle in the third bedroom, and a queen bed in the lower-level bedroom. All bedrooms feature powered USB chargers. The living room sofa also features a queen size sleeper sofa. In all, the home can accommodate up to eleven people. The home also features two bathrooms, each complete with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. In addition to the amazing lake and sunset views, the Living Room also features a 75” smart TV mounted above a 65" electric fireplace. The Master Bedroom features a 55" TV, and the lower level boasts a new game room with multi-game arcade, Wii system on a 42" TV, air hockey table, and jumbo Connect Four game. The cabin is a great place to spend time, but the outdoors is why you come up north, and Baxter Beach House has several different areas of outdoor recreation areas starting with the rear patio which is accessed via sliding glass door in the Living Room. The paver patio features a six-person table with chairs and an umbrella, a gas grill and a gas fire table with two chairs to keep you warm while taking in the lake views. The backyard features a large grassy area for playing family games like the included cornhole, croquet, Yardzee, and bocce ball, and can also serve for impromptu games of football, soccer, etc. (though there is a large City Park located a block away). The backyard also features a lakeside fire pit with plenty of chairs and is an excellent place to enjoy the phenomenal sunsets. Continue the fun lakeside as the property features a large soft sand beach shoreline with shallow beach entry and swimming area which is a great area for the family to splash and play in. We have provided two kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, a Lily Pad Lake mat, a paddleboat, numerous sand toys, an assortment of fishing poles, and a variety of life jackets for your use. A 70-foot-long dock is seasonally available and accommodates a range of boats but is also a great place to fish from or just relax on the built-in bench and wave to passing boats. Most of the lake is around 10 feet or less. Public boat launch is less than 10 minutes from the property. Walk-in swimming area with gradual slope - perfect for little kids. A patio along with picnic tables, chairs, fire pit with cut wood, dock and two kayaks and other outdoor toys are provided. All you need to do is bring the smores and be ready to relax to the sounds of the Loons singing every night. We only book a week long in the summer. The space The home has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, and the lower level has two queen beds and a twin, there is also a pull out couch upstairs. The porch has a double Futon and also a single Futon. The cabin has a full kitchen with a dishwasher. There are many golf courses located within close proximity. We are centrally located minutes away from Brainerd Intl Raceway and Nisswa or Downtown Brainerd. The space Open floor plan for kitchen, living room and dining room. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and lofted full-sized bed with night stands and a smart TV. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed with night stands, dresser and smart tv. Pack-n-play also available for use. The living room has one pull-out couch that sleeps two people, another couch and one side chair along with smart tv that extends and tilts to where you want it. Dining room area has a corner banquette that seats 5. Additional card table with four chairs stored under the bed if needed for extra seating. Private back deck to enjoy the outdoors with sitting and eating areas and gas grill. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin, nothing shared in cabin space. The neighborhood is part of a small 13 family HOA with shared beach, boat launch, fire pit, parking, basketball court, and bathhouse that includes two bathrooms and showers. Kayaks and Paddleboards are shared, and we cannot guarantee availability during your stay. They are located next to the boats landing. Others you see located around the community are privately owned. Please return to the rack once you are done so others can use, do not leave on the beach or boat ramp. We are on a septic system (do not put anything down kitchen drain, and only toilet paper down toilet). Water is from a well, it is filtered before coming into the cabin and safe to drink. Beach access is located in between the two middle cabins, please be respectful of our owners and renters on the lake front. The beach is for everyone's use, beach chairs are located on side of cabin for your use. Please be respectful and clean up everything you bring to the beach. The fish cleaning house is located near the boat ramp, please clean up after yourself and make sure to place any remains in a sealed bag before throwing in dumpster. The bathhouse is available to everyone. Paper products are for the bathhouse only, do not take them back to your cabin for use. Only toilet paper should be flushed, we are on a septic system, all other products should go in garbage. The boat ramp is for owners and renters only. Looking at the lake, the docks to the left of the ramp are for owners only. Renters can park on the first dock to the right of the ramp or put in and take out daily. Other things to note We provide beach towels and beach chairs. We provide one set of bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion), coffee pack, paper towels, toilet paper (2 rolls), and two garbage bags to start, guests must provide additional. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishware (including plastic for the kiddos), glasses and silverware along with cooking and grilling utensils. Coffee pot is a 12 cup and single cup brew. You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cabin while also having the amenities of a beach front cabin. Our association has a private sandy beach as well as a basketball court, fish cleaning shack, kayaks, and more! Our cabin is minutes away from Brainerd, Baxter & Nisswa, all of which have much to offer from zoos, go karts, to breweries and restaurants. There are a few cabins in our association & a few seasonal campers who love to live the summer life in MN! The space Our cabin has two bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. 1st Bedroom - One Queen Bed 2nd Bedroom - Two Twin Beds Futon in Living Room for extra sleeping spaces. All beds, linens and furniture are brand new for our guests! We provide shampoo, conditioner and bodywash for all guests as well as a hair dryer in case you forget yours. Our cabin has toys, games, movies and puzzles for the quiet moments while inside. Outdoor items include a basketballs, footballs, sand toys for the beach, charcoal grill, picnic table and various outdoor items. The association has a community firepit area for your evening enjoyment. We are a small association of 13 cabins so you will likely make wonderful new friends while visiting. This is not a secluded cabin and you will be near our neighbors and other guests but everyone is very friendly and used to visitors. Brainerd, Baxter and Nisswa are all wonderful towns with ample things to do while you are visiting. We provide a list of recommended activities upon checking in to the cabin. This list includes local boat rental companies as well in case you do not have your own boat! There are several laundromats near by if you need to do laundry during your stay as our cabin does not have a washer and dryer. This is a great fishing lake for panfish . Our association has a private boat launch so you can bring your own boat or rent one from a local company who can deliver the boat for you. You can clean your fish in the fish cleaning house on site, just remember to please clean up after yourself. NOTE ABOUT THE DOCKS - Please note that we can not guarantee when docks will be put in as we have no control over that. However, they have always been in by Memorial Day and are usually taken out the week the following Labor Day by our association. Guest access Guests have full access to our entire cabin and grounds surrounding our cabin. Guests have access to basketball court, private beach, fire pits, and fish cleaning shack as the docks and swimming platform. There are two kayaks and two paddle boards for all visitors to use that our association provides.
