No compromising here. You can have the best of both worlds with this magnificent lake house, located on the Hidden Bayou of Big Star Lake! The Bayou offers an incredibly unique landscape, full of waterfowl and many other visitors. It is quite tranquil and a wonderful place to escape. Here, you have two acres to call your own. The fun side of the lake is a short boat ride out of the Bayou and then...Here we go! On to the party! Big Star Lake is all-sports fun! The house itself is very accommodating, with six bedrooms and two full baths. Two bedrooms are non-conforming, which simply means there is more room to sleep more people. At one time, 40 guests slept in this home at one time!  It's that large! Family gatherings, high school reunions -- there is plenty of room for everyone. Amazingly, though, for all that room, it still feels comfortable and cozy. Open concept kitchen/dining/living space with a gas fireplace invites you to sit and converse, and of course, enjoy that view! Or maybe you'd prefer taking your coffee out to the enclosed cedar-lined deck. More than a 3-seasons room, it has power and heat!  The primary bedroom is on the main floor. Two bedrooms are upstairs and three more in the walk-out basement with another full bath. The lower level opens to a patio with outdoor shower and seating area. There is also a cool gathering place at the beach with a firepit - a perfect place to relax with an evening cocktail. There is so much to take in and so many types of experiences you could have, all from the luxury of your own backyard!  Updates include new roofs (house and two sheds) and siding in 2023. Newer furnace (2015) and AC (2019). New stove, dishwasher, microwave, fireplace insert (2025). Whole house Generac Generator (2025). The HOA is voluntary, only $50/year. Property is nearly two acres and located on a county-maintained road. The boat launch is right around the corner.
