Details on key local amenities: Lake Access - Lake Laura is a 3 minute drive by car away from the house or can be reached by walking 22 minutes mostly along Fairway Dr. Bryce Resort and Ski Lift - are a 5 minute drive down the road (unfortuntaely AirBNB only allows to define "Ski-in/out" or no Ski resort at all and we opted for the former, but want to ensure accuracy; Bryce resort offers access to the Ski-Lift, Bike Park or Golf amenities, but guests have to pay for those separately (not included in the nightly rate) Guest access This property provides secure, and easy entry with a smart lockbox for contactless check-in. You can unlock the lockbox to access the leys with your personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay. The home has 2 driveways. The front driveway leads directly to the home over a bridge. There are three sets of stairs that must be used from the back driveway to reach the tree tops. Cell phone service can get pretty weak as you approach Basye, fortunately our WiFi connection is very strong! We definitely suggest setting up your GPS on your phone before departing from The Treehouse. Other things to note ★ STEEP DRIVEWAY ★ A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in winter to ensure you can reach the top of the driveway safely. You will be driving on two lane, winding mountain roads to get into Basye and onto Fairway Dr. Please note that this unique treehouse setting has a steep grade and sits ~ 40+ feet off the ground. Driveway holds 3-4 vehicles comfortably; but will require rearranging (last in first out). ★ PEST CONTROL & WILDLIFE ★ Our home is well maintained and treated periodically for pests and insects. However, we cannot control the occasional bug creeping in to say hello or found dead (this a good sign as we have a pest control subscription). If you happen to see a bug just let us know, we can schedule our pest control service. We don't foresee this being an issue during your stay, but we wanted to mention it. Trash cans are at the end of the driveway in wooden boxes to prevent wildlife from getting in. ★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★ Please refrain from smoking inside our home! Any smoking evidence will result in a fee for odor removal, air duct and furniture cleaning. ★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★ We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits ★ MINIMUM AGE ★ Guest making reservation needs to be at least 21 yrs old and staying at the house. It’s a perfect getaway hideaway for families, friends, and lovers!  FEATURES & AMENITIES: This cabin features a large living room with comfy furniture, a huge Smart TV, stone gas log fireplace and two ceiling fans - perfect for cozy movie nights and afternoons watching sports. Beyond the living room awaits a large kitchen and dining area. The kitchen features authentic cabin-style cabinets, granite countertops, and new stainless steel appliances. It includes basic cookware, tableware, and both basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind) and a Kuerig machine (k-cups provided). The countertop bar/peninsula seats three, while the dining table seats up to six. A pantry and full-size washer & dryer are steps away from the kitchen. A half-bathroom serves all main level gathering areas. Nestled in the heart of Bryce Mountain Resort just 60 seconds from the lodge, this brand new modern designed cabin offers the perfect retreat for families. With modern finishes and thoughtful amenities, it has everything you need to disconnect and recharge. The fully equipped kitchen, plush bedrooms, and spacious design ensure a relaxing stay, making this cabin the ideal escape for a memorable mountain getaway. The space This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms on two levels. Through every detail, including oversized doors, soaring windows, waterfall island countertops, picture frame tv, arcade games, and a beautiful patio with a fire pit, you will see the passion behind the build of this cabin and not want to leave. It has everything you need to have the perfect relaxation you have been seeking. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite bathroom with an oversized heavenly shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a full size sleeper sofa. The second bedroom connects to the third bathroom via a Jack and Jill bathroom. The third bedroom is the kids room with twin size bunk beds built into the framing of the house with nightlights. The third bedroom also has a full size bed. All mattresses are memory foam mattresses. All linens and towels are provided. The kitchens are fully stocked for you to cook anything that you can think of. A blender, rice cooker, pots, pans, baking sheets, and an electric wine opener are just a few of things that you'll find. Free parking is available in the gravel driveway in front of the house. Do not block the driveway entrance so other cars can access it. Standard vehicles fit without issue, but very large trucks (such as extended 8-foot bed pickups) may not fit comfortably and are not ideal for this space. Guest access There is a smart lock on the front door for seamless 24 hour access. All things related to guest access will be in the fully comprehensive house manual sent to you prior to check in. Villa #102 is a mountain chalet that overlooks the Bryce Resort golf course and Great North Mountain. Leaf cover in the obscures the view, but wintertime views are wonderful. The great room’s huge windows and deck keep you close to nature. Access includes over thirty steps down to entry level from the parking area. Located within the Bryce Resort community, this chalet is about one mile from the Resort’s main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and 2.5 miles from the Basye Community Store. The space Please review the listing photos carefully. This chalet is clean and well maintained, but rustic. It’s an affordable, comfortable retreat for a wide range of guests.   FEATURES & AMENITIES: The open, spacious great room includes a dining room and living room with a wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is provided from late fall through early spring. The kitchen is conveniently located adjacent to the great room and includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The main floor also includes a large bedroom with king bed, a second bedroom with double bed, and full bath. The cozy loft has two twin beds, a double bed and full bath. The finished basement includes a second living room, a game room with a futon, a bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and sauna, and laundry room. Sleeps 10.  The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.   The flat screen TVs include basic cable, and high-speed 50mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for working, streaming, and limited gaming. There’s a DVD player for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Reception Office.  OTHER NOTABLES: Pets are permitted for a $100 fee per pet, per stay (maximum three).   This property does not have an outdoor hot tub, grill, or fire pit.  Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.  In the summertime, guests have unlimited access to the Bryce Mountain Escapes pool at 2565 Orkney Grade. See pictures of our pool in the unit listing. It’s open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Bryce Resort's pool, Bryce Landing, is not open to the public.  For wintertime reservations: this property is located in a mountain ski resort community. Snow may make access to/from this property challenging. Virginia prioritizes clearing main roads serving the resort, but resort community roads and driveway conditions will be variable. We advise 4WD vehicles and discourage RWD vehicles. Skilled winter drivers in AWD and FWD vehicles with good tires may also negotiate community roads and driveways successfully. During ice storms, we recommend chains because no vehicles are suitable until road crews apply ice melt and cinder. Please monitor weather forecasts and NOAA storm warnings. Please consider purchasing travel insurance; we do not offer refunds for travel challenges caused by weather. However, when winter weather events may occur during your stay, please contact us about early check-ins, late check-outs, and extensions (if available). We waive ECI/LCO fees and offer discounted extra nights to encourage safe arrivals and departures.   MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN: Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park. Upon entering, you’ll be captivated by the warm, rustic charm featuring real hardwood floors on the main level, a vaulted ceiling with beams, and a stunning white-wash stone gas fireplace that creates the perfect ambiance.
