Our favorite part was laying in bed staring up at the stars from the huge window at sky level. Our large group gathered in the Main house for dinner while we barbecued and dined al fresca. Your stay will be in a quiet community with easy access to anything you will want to do, and everything you need. Walking distance to multiple trail heads, a quick 8 minute drive to uptown Sedona. Within 1 mile of the house are restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, spas - and everything else you can think of! You will receive a 4 digit code to the front door prior to your arrival. The home will have been professionally cleaned prior to your arrival, following all COVID-19 guidelines for safety. When you walk in the front door, you will be in the living room - this is kind of the heart of the home. There is a warm and cozy fireplace in the living room for you to enjoy. Straight ahead is a hallway to two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a king bed with stunning views of Thunder Mountain. The other bedroom has twin bunk bed and an additional twin bed. Under the bunk bed is a trundle. All beds have brand new mattresses and plush, comfortable bedding. There is access to a full bathroom for these two bedrooms to share. And a door to access the downstairs portion of the home. The downstairs has two living room areas - each room has its own TV that provide you access to log into any of your favorite apps. The first living space has a queen sized sofa couch. There is also a king sized bed with plush mattress and linens and a full bathroom for your use. Back upstairs, to the right of the living room, is the dining room and kitchen, with an additional breakfast nook. There is access from the dining room to the back patio and yard. The yard is an additional living space to enjoy! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the items you will need to prepare meals, or just enjoy some charcuterie and wine. Just past the kitchen you will find the laundry room with ironing board and iron. To the left you can access the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom has a large en suite with walk in shower, jetted soaking tub and two sinks. There are two closet areas, one is a walk in closet with hangers and plenty of room to store luggage. The primary bedroom has a plush new king bed and bedding, with a reading nook. You can also access the back patio and yard from the primary bedroom. There are unobstructed views of mountains all around you in the back yard. Pick an apple from the apple tree and enjoy the views! The outdoor living space has plenty of seating for all guests, along with a fire pit you can enjoy into the evening. If you are working remotely, there is a desk set up for your convenience. The desk is located in the twin bedroom. There is plenty of room to set up your office space and outlets to safely plug in your computer. The outdoor space is like another living area. There are cozy chairs to relax and enjoy the views. The gas grill is located on the lower level of the patio. There is an additional outdoor dining space, this is a wonderful area to enjoy a meal with Thunder Mountain in the background. The fire pit area is set up with comfortable Adirondack chairs and a water feature to hear water trickling in the background. While in bloom, help yourself to fresh berries, apples or a fig fresh from the tree! You will also have full access to the spacious garage. There is a door by the laundry room allowing access from inside. In addition, you can access the garage from the MyQ app (iOS and Android). This will be set up and sent to you using your email address at your request. Home also has a ChargePoint Home level 2, 240v, 50a, EV charger with NEMA 14-50 J1772 Plug-in along with Tesla adapter that guests are welcome to use. ***USING THE FIREPLACE*** There is a key to the left of the fireplace, simply turn to the left 3-4 times to engage the gas, when you want to turn the fireplace off, turn to the right. To ignite the fireplace, please utilize the lighter (it will either be on the hearth or the shelf on the right) - simply place inside and the fireplace will ignite and keep you warm! Adjust up and down from there on how high you want the flames by turning the key to the left. Ensure the metal curtain is pulled closed so the soot doesn’t come out. ***USING THE FIREPIT*** Open the door on the side of the pit, turn the handle on the propane tank to the left 3-4 times. There is an "ignite" button on the side, push the button and enjoy the firepit! When you are done using the firepit, please turn the handle on the propane tank to the right, the flame will go down. There is a book in the home which highlights the 100's of hikes Sedona has to offer. Many of the hikes can also be enjoyed on a mountain bike. Many of our favorite hikes have trail heads within walking distance of the house - best part, you don't have to worry about trying to find a place to park! For groceries, the home is conveniently located within one mile of Safeway, Bashas, Natural Grocer and Whole Foods. There are also an abundance of restaurants to enjoy! Some of our favorites close to home include Steakhouse89, The Golden Goose and Dahl and Di Luca Ristorante. Highly recommend Mariposa - go during the day or at dusk - the views are incredible! Design can achieve this, but if your body is constantly fighting fragrances, chemicals, and other toxins then you can't fully achieve what the design intended. Enter Terra Luma...... **LIVING AREA** Room enough for all guests to gather and enjoy the breathtaking views. High vaulted ceilings with large, expansive windows to get the most out of our spectacular views. Fireplace is decorative only but it provides an amazing focal point for our FrameTV and oak mantel. Comfy leather sofa, natural wool rug, loads of natural fiber pillows to sink into comfort and never want to get up..... But if you do you can play with the telescope to see just exactly why being an International Dark Sky Community is such a hype! We also have games and puzzles available. **KITCHEN/DINING** Here's where you come in--when you come to stay with us you can absolutely enjoy so many wonderful dining choices Sedona has to offer--try an amazing restaurant each night if you choose. But. If you like to prepare your own amazing meals we've got you covered. I am a kitchen appliance guru so I thought you might be too--I'm also a brand snob--sorry, not sorry. Vitamix blender, Nama juicer, Omega juicer, Instant Pot, Ceramic slow cooker, Simply Good Coffee drip coffee maker (waiting on the plastic free version), glass electric tea kettle, toaster, electric citrus juicer, hand mixer. Our pots and pans are non-toxic ceramic or stainless steel--no teflon here! One thing you will not find here is a microwave--it's just not something that is congruent with having a healthy home so I am challenging my guests to learn to reheat your leftovers either on the stove or in the oven with the air fry function. You should have everything you need to feel right at home in this kitchen! If you're a coffee drinker we provide great coffee, either ground or whole bean (Purity is our chosen brand--organic, mold free). We also have a little tea station with many organic loose leaf varieties from which to choose. **OUTDOORS** Wow! It's hard to believe that none of this existed before, but with the help of my amazing landscape designer and talented stone masons-that are truly artists-we made my vision of an organic oasis come to life! We used materials and design styles native to timeless Southwest architecture to create a space that is truly magical--from hand cut stone, to natural flagstone, to the vigas used in the pergola-it comes together to create a story. The outdoor kitchen can be utilized to create some amazing meals/memories. We have a Big Green Egg using lump charcoal for heating and a propane gas grill with plenty of prep space. The bar area has seating for 4 plus a mini fridge for beverages. I'm obsessed with the handmade dining table made from Ponderosa Pine. The benches and chairs can easily seat 8. Dine under the stars and the twinkly lights to create some amazing Sedona memories. In case you get cold we have a patio heater by Timber Stoves that uses wood pellets for a self-contained heating method without the smell of propane heaters. Surrounding the entire outdoor space we have planted lots of herbs and fruit producing trees. The goal is for them to grow and provide enhancement to all the wonderful meals made and enjoyed in this space for a truly land to table experience for our guests. In a nod to the littles in my life and by extension yours, we created a natural playground. However, more bigs than littles have been spotted enjoying the teeter totter, swinging bridge and stepping stumps. The outdoor drum is another fun feature in the playground area for all to enjoy. The pinnacle of our outdoor space has to be our hot tub area... We chose the amazing cedar tub made in Canada by Alumitubs to be our focal point. We nestled the hot tub just so amongst the steps and slabs that look like they've always been there just waiting for it! And of course we chose this spot for the clear view of the expansive Sedona sky. Enjoy star gazing in or out of the spa which is kept clean and sanitized by hydrogen peroxide only. No harsh chemicals! We drain the tub every two weeks and start over with clean water and a clean tub. But don't worry about all that wasted water. We have connected the drain to our irrigation system and pump it to our plants to recycle and reuse. Before you get in the spa make sure you turn on the towel warmer so the walk back inside is just as toasty warm. Recently we added another zone to our outdoor area—a firepit, authentic tipi, hammock and stock tank pool! This is actually my personal favorite place to relax Our front patio can't be forgotten because it's the first space you encounter when you arrive. We have provided plenty of seating and amazing views to inspire great conversations, productive work, inspired creativity and possibly a bit of soul care. We have a mini trampoline here to get your lymph moving while you enjoy the views. And don't forget to capture a memory in front of our custom logo to remember your amazing stay at Terra Luma. **BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS** Sleep is such an important part of feeling healthy and vibrant. In fact, it's foundational. So we placed a huge emphasis on getting a great nights sleep. Each of the three upstairs bedrooms have Birch organic mattresses--I'm obsessed. We also provide natural European flax linen sheets on all the beds--the benefits of sleeping in linen are amazing. If you aren't familiar with these benefits I encourage you to read about it before you come so can truly appreciate the experience. The quilts and blankets are all organic cotton. Each of the four bedrooms has a Jaspr air scrubber which, according to my research, is the best on the market for providing the cleanest air possible. The owner of Jaspr recommends that you run the unit at full speed while you sleep. It cleans the air and provides some nice pink noise. We do have noise machines in every room. Also each room has room darkening roller shades plus room darkening curtains. Sleeping in a dark room helps you get the best sleep possible since light is not interfering with melatonin production. The master bedroom even has circadian rhythm bulbs in the lamps. Turn on and off to cycle through daylight, twilight and nighttime glows. Each bathroom provides cotton towels, bathrobes and bath mats. We have partnered with The Unscented Company for hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap--no scent, clean ingredients! Two of our bathrooms have bathtubs and we provide epsom salts and magnesium flakes for a great detoxifying soak in the tub! **WELLNESS ROOM/BEDROOM 4** Our wellness room doubles as a 4th bedroom with a murphy bed when the number of guests command it. But normally we use it as a wellness room with all the wellness tools. The most outstanding feature of this space is our sauna. Oh. My. Word. I can't wait for you to try it. Ours is made by Sauna Space. It flushes out toxins, powerfully repairs and heals at the cellular level and renews you body, mind and spirit. Powered by Sauna Spaces proprietary incandescent FireLight® Spectrum, the EMF-free Hearth Infrared Therapy Sauna Panel delivers the clinically studied benefits of red light, near-infrared light and heat therapy. I love that you can turn it on and get in--No need to wait 30 min or more for it to heat up. Get ready to sweat! We also have a Pranamat to try, a vibration plate for lymphatic drainage and two yoga mats. This room also has it's own private bathroom to shower off after the sauna or take a soak in the tub for even more detoxification. We have a massage table onsite and I have partnered with Karly who is an amazing massage therapist who will come and provide massages without having to leave the house! I have also partnered with Lilliana who has a wealth of services to provide from facial massage to private workshops on self care to yoga sessions and beyond. This info can be provided at your request after booking with us. **ADDITIONAL INFO** We have installed a whole house water filtration system by Aquasana to ensure that even your shower can be enjoyed without fumes of chlorine. We also have a reverse osmosis filter at the kitchen sink for additional confidence in our drinking water. We of course only use clean and safe cleaning products. We do have a variety of brands that we like from everyday cleaners to detergents and specialty cleaners but they all use clean ingredients and no fragrances including essential oils for those who are especially sensitive. We had a mold test conducted before even purchasing the property--no mold here! We want you to have full confidence that you are experiencing Sedona at it's fullest potential and can go back home feeling energized and inspired in your own continued journey for health and wellness. Our specific location I think is the best--we are located in West Sedona on a quiet cul-de-sac just off of Posse Ground Road. We are within walking distance to Posse Ground Park--what an amazing park it is--65 acres of recreation! The pickleball courts are a local favorite--we provide paddles and balls for those who enjoy. Kids enjoy the large playground. We enjoy the fitness trail for outdoor exercise as well. There are also plenty of hiking trails in and around the park to explore. The shuttle to park trails is also within walking distance at the park and will transport you to the many trailheads throughout Sedona. The park is a hidden gem that locals LOVE and visitors don't often know about--we are fortunate to be so close! Walk in the other direction to Whole Foods which is nice to be able to go grab some groceries without having to get in the car. Also there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance too. This newly remodeled 4BR, 3BA home in West Sedona offers a peaceful retreat with a heated pool, hot tub, and a master bathroom featuring a steam shower and red light sauna. Just minutes from restaurants, bars, spas, and hiking trails, this dog-friendly property is perfect for families or groups. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this home provides the ideal base for your Sedona getaway! It’s a modern sanctuary where comfort, luxury, and the beauty of Sedona come together! The space This is a 4-bedroom 3-bath house. 3 king beds, and 1 queen bed. We do offer a queen air mattress for extra guests, and one large couch is also very comfortable to sleep on, however it is NOT a sleeper sofa that folds out. The master bathroom does have a soaker tub in addition to a his / hers shower. The other 2 bathrooms only have showers. All bathrooms are recently remodeled and are very nice. The kitchen is very large and well stocked with everything you will need for cooking meals. Enjoy the over sized island, large counter top space, dual oven, extra large range, beverage cool in addition to the refrigerator, and ice machine. This is a great kitchen to prepare for a large group meal! Outdoors is a fenced enclosed pool area you can enjoy with solar heating, and a hot tub! It has a clean tropical feel with the water temperature to match. Guest access A unique door code will be generated for you to the front door of the house. It automatically locks after 5 minutes, FYI. Parking is in the front of the house designated with the parking headers, and overflow parking is available in the front part of the lot. The driveway parking section in front of the garage is reserved for guest in the detached and separate Casita. With the 3 designated parking headers and overflow parking we can easily accommodate 6 cars. If you have more than 6 cars just let me know as we do have some additional space on the property as well. If you have a trailer, boat, RV etc., we can accommodate that as well in the front lot overflow parking area. It is located downstairs on the street level of the house & accessible through the staircase in front of the main door to the house, right next to the Front Patio. This is set up as a walk-out private Casita. All bathroom showers have soothing full-on water pressure, ample counter space, hair dryer & plenty of towels. Can't beat this location! Jay & Becky are avid hikers & love eating out! They have hiked many trails in Sedona & would be thrilled & delighted to recommend trails to fit various fitness levels. That's why they've set up a Hiking Station in the laundry room for guests to place their backpacks & other gear making it easy to organize & get ready for the day’s hike. Please leave hiking shoes outside at the front door on the rack provided as it is extremely hard to remove & wipe off the red Sedona sand from tiles & furniture. Upon returning from hikes, washing off the red sand from your shoes is a breeze b/c a wash-off hose (next to the garage door) & wipe cloths (in a basket placed under the bench at the front door) are provided. You’ll see! Some of the most popular hikes are just a mile away from the house -- Soldiers Pass, Brins-Mesa, and Seven Sacred Pools to name a few. Other popular trails like Thunder Mountain & Chimney Rock are 2 miles away. Want to rent a bike or an ATV, instead? No problem, walk down ½ mile & you’ll find those shops! Talk about convenience! The Main bedroom has a gas fireplace and TV. The ensuite bathroom is generous with a walk-in closet. The two bedrooms at the other end of the rancher both have a queen bed and a trundle bed, allowing two single guests to sleep comfortably in addition to the queens in each room. The 2nd bathroom is newly renovated and has a door dividing the sinks, shower/tub, and toilet area. The 4th room is an office/media room with a TV and a pull-out couch with a new full-foam mattress. It also has a single bed. Bedside lamps have USB ports for convenience. We have an ottoman on wheels in the living area that pulls out into a twin. The living room has a gas fireplace, TV, and a comfortable luxury leather reclining sectional couch. The dining room table has two extensions and can sit up to 12. The Kitchen has new large appliances, a coffee maker, bodem, coffee grinder, electric kettle, juicer, Nutri bullet blender, and instapot. Soft water and reverse osmosis drinking water. Oh yeah! The washer and dryer are extra large and new. The double garage allows for safe bike storage; if you are a mountain biker like us, you might be interested in the bike stand also available and the garden hose. (We do not have room to park your car in the garage.) Outside the patio are a BBQ and (beer) fridge, plenty of seating and a sectional with an excellent table for card games. There is a good space for outdoor yoga; we supply two yoga mats and one roller. It is a private backyard because no one has yet built on the lots behind our home. We also supply a high chair for little ones. Guest access You will have access to the whole house, equipped for a comfortable and relaxed visit—all the luxuries of home, with high-speed internet. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and we also offer basic spices, salt and pepper. There are bath towels, pool towels and bed linens. The downstairs media room is a great place to relax and watch a movie on the big, flat screen TV. Plenty of room for everyone, great sound, and a relaxing evening in comfort can be found.
