The space In this area we have 5 other cottages (7 in total), each has their own separate space but all share two hot tubs and community pool. Direct River access for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. New docks for relaxing or catching some Bass, Carp, or Catfish! Lots of Lounging chairs by the pool and two private covered cabanas for Lago and La Posada by the house with fire pits and grills. Refresh yourself in the shared walk-in swimming pool or get inside our community hot tub. The space Laguna Vista Tree Haus is a unique 4 bedroom 3 bath Tree House! Bring up to 14 guests to enjoy a much needed weekend getaway. There is a large warp around deck in the front that has views of the Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap. As you step inside the tree house you will be in the living room area. The complete kitchen to the left of living room has pots and pans to cook meals. After a long day its time for a good night's sleep. In the first bedroom there is a king bed with bathroom, the second bedroom has two queen beds. There is a bathroom that can be accessible from the living room or from the 2nd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has 2 queen beds and private bathroom. The 4th bedroom for the kiddos or extra guests we have a bunk bed and a fold-out (sofa bed). There is outdoor furniture underneath the tree house. Laguna Vista Tree Haus is one of four tree houses around the shared pool. In addition to the tree houses we have the Lodge and two suites. You will have access to the shared large walk-in swimming pool, cabana, mini children's playground. The pool is open all year round but not heated. There is plenty of seating outside and each of our properties has their own bbq grills. As you step into the pool it starts shallow and gets deeper so all ages can enjoy. The swimming pool has 17 swim up bar stools, sorry no bar tender! Bring your own drinks and refresh yourself. The Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap is a short walk down the hill where you have access to a large 60ft dock and over 200ft of waterfront. We have a private boat ramp to the right of the dock so if you own any watercraft bring along and explore Lake Dunlap. Jump into the water or bring your fishing poles and do some fishing. It's from 2 to 4 miles to most attractions to include Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Gruene & Gruene Hall, Floating the Rivers, Shops, Restaurants, Wineries and much more! When you arrive, as you walk through the gate on the right, down the stone walkway, it opens up to a tree lined lot with a stunning view of the blue/green waters of Lake Dunlap. Entering the home, you will see the large open floor plan and the beautiful view from all the floor to ceiling windows. This space is great for entertaining family and friends with good food and conversation. A fully furnished kitchen and dining table that seats 8 comfortably and 2 bar areas that will accommodate 7 more for sitting. There is also an outside table seating 6 and ample other seating as well. The downstairs includes a bedroom and a bathroom with a King size bed. Sink into the soft leather couches with oversized ottamans to watch some of your favorite shows. There is also a full size laundry area and half bath. Go upstairs and you will come to the game area with a pool table, shuffle board, TV, and a wide choice of board games for different ages. Off this area there are 3 bedrooms. The balcony room, over looking the lake, where you can sit on your own private porch viewing the natural beauty, has a King bed and private bath. The second bedroom has a King size bed and attached bathroom. The third bedroom can be great for kids or adults with 2 queen sized beds, toys and books for children's entertainment and a TV. There is also an Office with a large leather sectional and floor space for extra sleeping. With prior arrangements, we have a Pak and Play crib, booster seat and blow up mattresses for additional children sleeping options. Outside, there is a large porch where you can grab a book, a drink or just relax in the oversized swing for a nap. There are ceiling fans, a drink fridge, outdoor games and a comfortable couch and chairs. Spend quiet mornings watching cranes and deer while sipping your morning coffee. A set of stairs leads down to the dock (boat and lift are not available for use) where you can sit by the water in rocking chairs. Cool off by taking a refreshing swim or float on the Lilly Pad in the constant 72 degree water. For the more energetic, take the kayak's out for a scenic trip on the lake. It's location is ideal for commuting in and around New Braunfels, as well as neighboring cities such as Schertz, Universal City, and San Antonio. The space This spacious home has great amenities such as a home theater, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and an impressive double grill that has propane and charcoal grilling capabilities. Dining Areas: The dining room table can seat 6 to 8 people. The outdoor dining table on the back patio currently has seating for four, but with more seating, it could easily seat 6 or possibly 8 people. Master Bedroom: The master bedroom is downstairs, and has a large king bed and a seating area with a side table for some quiet time with a good book. It also has a full-size dresser and nightstand with a bedside lamp, and a large walk-in closet. The attached master bathroom has a double sink and a separate private toilet. Pet & family friendly vacation home for 10 guests (4BR/2.5 including 2 Kings). The space We have one master bedroom downstairs with King bed and full attached bath. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that include a king bedroom, a room with 2 queens and a 3rd room with a queen and twin bunkbeds. There are also bathrooms both upstairs and a powder bath down. Guest access The entire house, pool/spa, large backyard, boat house with docks and seating with hanging lights on top of boat house overlooking Lake McQueeney. Other things to note We have a private gated driveway that holds ~ 5 cars plus additional parking in front of house. You can easily arrange a boat ride during your trip. Captain Hawaiian Brian is an experienced driver on Lake McQueeney and will pick you up from the dock for a cruise or a day of tubing on the lake. He also provides transportation/late night pick-ups around the area including New Braunfels and Gruene. He also goes to the San Antonio Airport for $150. We have used him for tubing trips and have had a lot of fun. He is careful and perfect for children experiencing their first or 50th tube behind a boat. Please contact me for details if interested.

Dunlap is a dammed portion of the most beautiful river in Texas, the Guadalupe River. With 2 living rooms and enough beds to comfortably sleep 14-people, our lake house is great for families and friend groups. The Dude's House is 7-minutes to downtown New Braunfels and about 15-minutes to Gruene. The space Designed for Groups and Families: Our spacious abode comfortably accommodates 14 guests, making it a dream spot for families, friends, and everyone looking to experience the joy of the water in New Bruanfels. Only 10-minutes from downtown New Braunfels, you and your family will love this spacious home that comfortably sleeps 14. Two living spaces in the home make it easy to separate kids from adults for playtime and movie watching. Kayaks, paddle boards, tubes, and life jackets are all included in your rental. This is a two story waterfront home with 4 bedrooms, an office that doubles as a bunk room, and 3.5 baths. Downstairs is the primary bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with queen bunk beds, and an office with two twin beds. There is also a day bed with a trundle that is not factored into the sleeping arrangements on the listing. Upstairs are two more bedrooms. One has a king bed and the other has two queen beds. There is a living room downstairs and a second living room upstairs. Five arcade games upstairs make for added fun. Enjoy NBA Jam, Ms. Pacman, The Simpsons, Street Fighter II, and Golden Tee! If you need to work, there is a desk with a monitor, port replicator, keyboard, mouse and chair. The backyard is massive. There is a dock and a boat house deck for dining and lounging. Guest access On the DAY OF your check-in, you will receive your CHECK-IN DETAILS via email shortly before 4 pm (3:45 pm), to gain access directly into the property (no need to go anywhere additional to check-in). It is important that the Rental Agreement is signed and reservation is paid in full so we don't have any interruptions with sending your check-in details. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive by 4:15 pm.IMPORTANT: if you don't receive code by 4:30 pm please call us immediately before we close at 5 pm Other things to note We stock the property with all basic kitchen utensils (dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans). Our cleaning company provides a starter pack of toilet paper (2 rolls per restroom), paper towels (2 rolls in the kitchen), sponge (1), trash bags (3), dishwasher tablets (3), bar soap (1 per restroom), hand soap in the restrooms, and dish soap in the kitchen. We supply enough bath towels for the maximum occupancy of the unit, and half the guest count for hand towels and wash cloths. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for you to use at your convenience! We recommend for guests to bring any food, toiletries, and beach towels they may need during their stay! The cleaning fee covers the cost for cleaning to come in, and flip the unit for the next arrival, especially during the summer when we have a four-hour turnover time. While the cost may seem high to some, this includes the starter pack of supplies in the unit, washing all of the linens and towels, and completely cleaning and sanitizing the unit for the next guests arrival. This is why we kindly ask you to remove all trash, run the dishwasher, and just put the linens and towels in a pile. If these items are not completed, it then causes the cleaning crew to spend extra time doing these tasks, which we have to charge the guest for. By the guests completing these tasks, and not leaving the unit excessively dirty, we are able to get cleaning in and out during the four hour turnover, and this is also how we are able to accommodate early check-ins! While this may not always be the case (sometimes we may have 20-40 turnovers in one day), we strive to accommodate guests and their schedules within reason, to allow you to have an enjoyable stay! With any excessively dirty unit (excessive mess, vomit, stained sheets, stained towels, confetti/glitter, etc), we will have to charge the guest the additional cleaning. This happens very rarely, we just ask you be respectful of the property, as if it were your own home.
