Large decks and outdoor spaces overlooking the property with private pond. Luxurious master suite, main floor and downstairs kitchens, multiple entertaining areas, and plenty of beds. A true paradise 5 minutes from town, 11 miles to Whitefish Mountain Resort, and 29 miles to Glacier Park Entrance. The space We have two other Airbnb houses on the 15 acre property that can be rented in addition to our main house at Outpost. Please find them by locating J Michael's profile on this listing. We do allow events, i.e. weddings, receptions, reunions, but only with prior permission and payment of an event fee and completion of an event contract. This includes any catered events or gatherings whether in the house(s) or on the grounds of the property. Guest access There are two other guest rental houses on the 15 acre Outpost property. The Bunkhouse, which is directly down the hill behind Outpost-it is attached to the three bay garage. Outpost cabin is the other house, which is on the very back of the property down the driveway. Guests of the main house, Outpost, can access anything in the main house-front and back yard, down to the driveway between our Bunkhouse with attached garage. You have access to the pond closest to Outpost, but could be sharing the pond with other guests booked in the Bunkhouse. Please do not walk or drive to the back property and pond-unless you are with the same group renting the cabin on our back acreage. Other things to note Some important items to remember during your stay: 1. Ponds are beautiful but are not fenced and are not for swimming. Please keep an eye on children and adults so they do not end up in the water. 2. Please observe Montana’s fire restrictions before using the fire pit. If burning is not allowed please don’t do so. 3. We are close to town but Whitefish in general and our property in particular has occasional wild visitors. Please store trash appropriately not to attract animals. Be aware of your surroundings. For added comfort and safety we have two bottles of Bear Spray on the Shelf in the mud room. 4. Please no hunting on property.

The home boasts a modern design, high-end finishes and impeccable furnishings throughout three spacious floors. It doesn't get much better. This is a new neighborhood. There may be construction going on for the foreseeable future. The space The house features 5 bedrooms (one bedroom is a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath. This sleeping space does not have a bathroom besides the master). Two suites have luxurious king beds, 1 has a queen bed and one has two bunk beds with 4 queen mattresses. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and features high-end appliances and a large island for entertaining. The kitchen flows into the formal modern dining room and living room with beautiful mountain views, a gas fireplace and access to the deck with a propane grill. There is AC for hot summer months. The hot tub is located just off the second living area downstairs. The master and trundle bedrooms are located upstairs from the living area. The king bedroom, queen bedroom, bunk room and secondary living area are located downstairs.  Ski access is a short walk away via the homeowner's ski lift and home again ski trail. Ski access is always snow-dependent and never guaranteed.   During the summer months, you will have access to an abundance of hiking and biking trails right out the back door. Other Whitefish Mountain Resort summer activities include zip lines, alpine slide, walk in the tree tops, high adventure course, scenic lift rides, mountain biking, huckleberry picking and so much more.
