The Poconos House is a small cozy two bedroom + loft, 1 bathroom chalet style house in the Poconos Mountains inside Arrowhead Lake Community. Rustic and quaint, yet with modern touches, The House is cool during the summer and cozy during the winter, and a great base for Poconos exploration. We renovated the interior and are excited to share our home! Please be respectful of our happy place that we worked hard on. (Please read Guest Access, house inside a community that requires additional fees) The space Township Registration #- 010352 The cabin is small (960 sq ft) and cozy. There are tons of games, books and puzzles to keep everyone entertained but also close to a lot of activities in the community. While the house is renovated, it is still a a cabin without modern luxuries like a dishwasher and air conditioning. We personally love the light coming in the windows and since the house is positioned in a cul de sac, it feels private and quiet. We have designed the house for our family, but have added thoughtful details for for all guests to enjoy. Located in Arrowhead Lake, PA, our private community provides access to many amenities such as three swimming pools (summer only), lakes, fishing, tennis courts, a communal lodge including a gym, library and a rec room, bicycle/boat/paddleboard rentals (summer only), a sledding hill and lots more. Inside the community, located on a quiet dirt road cul de sac, our house is a great place for exploring by foot or by bicycle, and a quick drive to Jack Frost's (12 miles) golf courses and skiing, Pennsylvania gamelands, flea markets, outlet malls, Kalahari water park (20 min), and restaurants. Nearby Camelback Mountain and the Delaware Water Gap provide for the more adventurous. We wanted a place where we could 'unplug' from city life, but 'plug in' when we need to. As parents, "kid-friendly" was part of our design. Guest access Guest Registration-ADDITIONAL Fees payable to us on behalf of Arrowhead (new rule): -Please note that in order to enter the gated community, there are additional fees outlined below that are mandatory. We will pay on your behalf after you have sent your registration information to us. MUST BE FINALIZED no later than 5 days in advance. Arrowhead will not allow you in, if not completed. There are no black out shades. This is our home, please be respectful. TEMPERATURE- for summer, there are fans in every room for your use. The house is on the shady side so stays cool. For winter, we have a propane heater, but there are additional plug in heaters in every room for your use. The fireplace is a wood burning stove. Instructions say to use kindling. The woods are full of kindling (small twigs) or please bring newspaper with you. GARBAGE-There is a garbage and recycle center at the front gate right before you exit. We ask guest to drop off trash before leaving. There will be someone there to help you with the trash. Please DO NOT put any trash outside as friendly animals are in the area. TV-There is no tv. We do not use a Tv while there, so we did not include it in our house. There is WiFi, so you can watch iPad/computer that way. The WiFi is strong and has no issues. SCREENED IN PORCH-This is currently undergoing renovation on the back portion interior, but you are welcome to enjoy the front section with a couch and chairs for porch hangs. OUTDOOR GRILL-there is an outdoor gas grill. We ask that you clean it off before you leave. DRIVEWAY-the driveway is steep. If the weather is bad in the winter, it will be hard to get up. You are welcome to park at the bottom of the driveway. Early check In/Late check Out-we have arranged cleaning schedules with our caretakers. If an early check in or late check out is requested, we would need to request this with our team at least 48hrs in advance to see if they accommodate. If they can accommodate, a small fee will be charged.

Pools will only be open on weekends (Saturday & Sunday) until mid-June when they will be open daily, The gym is open 5 am - 10 pm daily. The space This cozy cottage is great for couples, groups of friends, or a family. The home can comfortably host 4 people. The home is located on one floor with an open layout and lots of sunlight. Wood burning fireplace and a TV with cable and lightning-fast wifi. There is a butcher bar/dining area. The home has a new marble bathroom with a stand-up shower. We have two bedrooms and a cute outdoor patio (not fully gated) with a fire pit. The closest lake is about a 3 block walk, there is a playground and beach with boats to rent. Our affordable cabin provides basic accommodation for those looking for a clean place to stay in an amenity-filled community. Surrounded by trees/wildlife, this peaceful destination is ideal for a romantic get-a-way, remote from the outside world. PLEASE note the extra $40 registration fee and $8.50 per person per day amenity fee. The space Our home is a 2 bedroom one bath property. The entrance is on the second floor, requiring walking up several steps to enter the property. The view from the entrance on the second story gives our guests a bird's eye view of the road and surrounding property. There is a front deck, great for star and wildlife gazing and a back deck for grilling and access to the fire pit. The living room area has a flat-screen TV, a lot of couch and seating area, a dining room table, a full kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, silverware, pots, and pans. The living room areas are very spacious. There is an outdoor patio and a back entrance which includes a propane grill and outdoor seating area. There are 2 bedrooms, with two queen-size beds, closets, and dresser space. Linens and towels are NOT included with your stay but are available for delivery through poconolinen just get (2) queen sheet sets. We do provide (1) comforter and (2) pillows for each bed which includes a matress pad. The bathroom is full size, with a shower, bath, sink, and toilet. The space This lovely home is a fully restored Chalet in close proximity to the lake, Beach #2, and the playground . It is a 90-second walk from the front door to the lake, so you won't even have to move your car to enjoy being lakeside in minutes. Casa Azul offers 2 comfy, cozy bedrooms on the first floor and a large loft area along with many amenities, including: A large Loft featuring a Queen sized bed, private 1/2 bath, twin size roll out bed. Flat screen Television and mammoth electric recliner that you will never want to leave. The Loft also offers an eclectic collection of books in our library, ranging from novels, children's books, crime & mystery books, do it yourself, encyclopedias, young adult novels, and cookbooks. The game room has sliding doors, which help keep the rest of the house quiet in the event that your little ones are sleeping while you continue to enjoy your evening. This room also features 4 large picture windows to fully enjoy the landscape, whether it be sunshine or snow, along with an excellent view of the surrounding woods and its inhabitants. Original, cathedral look vaulted ceiling, which provides excellent acoustics for music and sound. Spacious Deck, BBQ grill. Along with an outdoor eating area. We try to keep the propane supplied at all times, but our guests will sometimes use the propane tank until it is empty without our knowledge. There are several stores nearby that will let you exchange the empty tank for a fresh tank, all within a 15-minute drive. There is a gorgeous, circular stone firepit located in front of the house. Perfectly for snuggling on chilly nights in the country or for making deliciously melted smores by the fire. We kindly ask that you A) Please be sure to extinguish all flames before you retire for the evening, and B) be mindful of the quiet times listed in the rules and regulations. (10 PM to 8 am). You don't have to whisper, but please refrain from playing music outdoors and howling at the moon at night. You are certainly welcome to do both indoors. Before you decide to book with us, there are a few "must knows" that we should disclose. There will be additional fees that will be incurred after your initial airbnb fees. We do not control this, and we do not receive any of those proceeds. However, those fees go directly to the Home Association at Arrowhead Lakes, who are responsible for providing safety & security for your family, lifeguards at the beaches & pools, and a 24-hour help desk at the welcome center. Those fees are as such: A one-time registration fee of $20 A per-vehicle key card registration fee of $20 ( * 3 cars will be $60) A per-person wristband fee of $8.50 per day for everyone over 6 years old. (In Season) ~Or~ A per-person wristband fee of $2.00 per day for everyone over 6 years old (Off Season) Children 5 and under are not required to wear wristbands. The wristband is a temporary membership and will grant you access to all of the amenities, pools, beaches, gym, pool hall, lodge, tennis courts & playgrounds. You will also need wristbands to rent any kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, or bicycles from the seasonal rent shack on the grounds. (at additional costs) You will receive a registration form upon your booking that must be completed and returned to the Arrowhead rental unit no later than 5 business days before your arrival. We will collect your payment via your desired method of payment, as well as your completed registration form detailing how many guests, vehicles, and wristbands you will need for your stay. There is 24-hour security at Arrowhead Lakes. You are sure to come across the patrol vehicles posted conspicuously throughout the grounds. There is a strict 25 MPH speed limit that is actively enforced. There are many families with children running around, as well as families of deer that tend to cross the road abruptly in large groups . Speeding on the grounds is a summonsable offense. Noise complaints are also enforced. Fishing is allowed on the lake, provided that you are licensed in Pennsylvania and adhere to fishing and wildlife regulations.

Lazy Bear Cabin is located in a private gated community. The house has a wrap around deck, living room, dining room, brand new mini-split system for heating and cooling and also has a gas insert fire place. It is located close to all attractions including Mount Airy casino, Kalahari, Great wolf Lodge, Camelback/Auqatopia waterpark and Big Boulder Ski resort . The space The house has a fully equipped open kitchen with pots and pans and utensils, including a microwave for all those quick goodies you may want to cook and a refrigerator. The living room has a smart TV (Netflix, Amazon, Youtube and access to xfinity streaming tv) We have high speed internet with wireless access for our guests. Outside we have a gas BBQ grill and 2 fire pits (please feel free to bring wood) we also have a propane fire pit we supply the propane for. We provide: Bath towels, soap, linens, pillows and blankets, tennis rackets, badminton racquets, multiple board games as well as a Corn Hole game. WE ARE NOT A LAKE FRONT PROPERTY AND WE DON’T HAVE A PRIVATE POOL) THE COMMUNITY CHARGES AN EXTRA FEE FOR THE AMENITIES. Guest access Entire house, also you have access to all amenities with extra charge. Parking is limited to 3 spots in the driveway. Other things to note The home is located in Arrowhead Lake Community. The Community is a private and gated lake community which offers 2 large lakes, 4 beaches, 3 Heated Swimming Pools, 5 Tennis Courts, 5 Boat Launches, 2 Basketball courts, Volleyball court, Horseshoe pits, Bocce ball and A large Community Lodge with a Fitness Room, Billiards room, Banquet room and Library and outdoor gathering is beautifully situated lake side. There are picnic facilities at all of the pools and beaches with tables and charcoal grills. Arrowhead Lake Community charges fees that we are required to collect from guests which are to be paid upfront and paid to the community are: *$20 registration per rental, *$20 per vehicle gate card, *$8.50 per day per person for ages 6 and up amenity fee/temporary membership. *All fees are mandatory and listed on our renting page and guests must pay no less than 3 days before arrival to register in the community. We can collect guest rental fees via Airbnb which is a separate payment after booking the home for registration. *Guests of renters must be registered and paid or will not be permitted access to the community if they are not properly registered.
