The lake we are on connects to the big lake, which is very fun for kayaking due to its irregular shape, and meanwhile we love the privacy our lakefront provides. In the winter the lake right in front of us freezes and becomes a large, open space for ice skating and ice hockey. Last but not least is the lake is stocked with fish, and we are on a great spot for fishing. The fish like to hide under the docks and jump at you when you walk onto the docks. And the water is so clear so you can see them swim. Catch the fishes yourselves or watch the ducks and geese catch their food. There is a herd or herds of deers lives in the woods next to us and we can see them stop by almost every day.

Other things to note Important FAQ Questions: Q: Is toilet paper and soap / cleaning supplies included in the standard rental? A: Yes, we do stock these items for you, but there is also a Dollar General 10 mins away from our home that will quickly supply you with anything and everything you need. Q: Are linens and towels included? A: Yes! Pillows, blankets, sheets and comforters are included as part of the standard nightly rental. Some like to bring their own top sheets. That’s up to you. Q: Is there a minimum length of stay at your home? A: Most of the year we have a minimum 2 night policy. In peak "Summer Season" only, which extends from the end of June through Labor Day, we have a minimum 7 day rental policy to match the cadence of Lake Naomi Club's amenities. This is the most sought out time of the year when all of the pools and lake activities will be open. We liken it to being on a cruise on land. There are activity directors, kids camps, a huge pool complex with water slide, high dives, rock climbing wall, lap pools, cabanas, full food options etc. Q: Can I access Lake Naomi Club amenities? Q: How can I gain access to the amenities of Lake Naomi Club and what does it cost? A: The Lake Naomi Club is a 5 star private club. A Temporary Membership is required to access the amenities and is available for an additional fee. Membership to the club provides access to the lakes and beaches, the clubhouse - restaurants, participation in recreation and social activities, the recreation tennis courts, two outdoor pools, tennis (court fees are additional) and golf (greens fees are additional). It also provides access to the Logan Steele Community Center which includes usage of an indoor pool with zero-depth entry with an indoor spray park, adult whirlpool, steam room and sauna, state-of-the-art fitness center, aerobic room, multi-purpose room for various sports, café, indoor tot lot, outdoor playground and wireless internet usage. The Temporary Membership application and photo submission must be arranged directly through the Lake Naomi Club within seven days prior to your arrival. Our living room has the birch and wood feel W/ wooden beams covered with vines decorating the ceiling. A well stocked wooden kitchen and a beautiful fireplace room with deer head light fixtures and a board and batten ceiling design. The ceiling is very high with a designer wheel barrel chandelier hanging down. The pass prices are: $20 per person for 1-day pass. $30 per person for 3-day pass. 7-day pass $50 per person. This fee is paid by the guest only if you choose to use the community amenities. We must be told in advance of your stay if you intend on using the community amenities however the pass can be purchased anytime during your stay. Other things to note IMPORTANT: Please note that everything that is in the home is provided as a courtesy. Our kitchen does come fully stocked with essentials as a courtesy such as plates, cups, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots and pans. Nothing edible comes stocked. The house does contain full body towels, but not face towels. We also provide starter shampoo, conditioner and bar soap, and toilet paper. We do advise our guests to bring additional shampoo/conditioner and anything else they may personally need. If something was not brought or is otherwise needed (such as additional garbage bags, kitchen towels, toilet paper, gas tank for BBQ)- there is a Walmart about 9 minutes from the house that carries everything you might need. Please note that the TVs in the home are Smart TVs but do not have cable, and otherwise only have the free channels, YouTube, and apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney etc. You would need to sign into your own account to use the apps but don’t forget to log out. We recommend enjoying the countryside and everything else the home offers, it’s a getaway after all! HOT TUB—The hot tub will be preheated to 100 degrees however you may adjust the temperature. Please remove cover before use and replace cover after use to maintain heat— otherwise the heat will drop and it takes time to heat up again. SAUNA— in order to turn on just twist the timer knob, takes roughly 1-2 hours to heat so turn on in advance if use. BBQ— we will provide an initial full tank but you must refill it. If the tank is not refilled there will be a $80 charge to refill. FIRE PIT- requires you to either gather or purchase your own wood. STRING LIGHTS- switch is located on the outside of the rear garage door going to the balcony (its inside the weatherproof cover). The primary suite’s ensuite bathroom features a deep soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and two vanities. The second bedroom is upstairs on the second floor and also has a king-sized bed and plenty of storage space for your things in the drawers and on a luggage rack.
