Need to get some work done? There's a standing desk with monitor & keyboard in the bedroom, and (of course) free fast WIFI. We love to cook, eat, & drink. This is where you will find your information binder with house rules, trash pick up days, internet log in information, nearby restaurants, and stores. Kitchen is fully stocked with your cooking needs. Gas stove , microwave, and full-size refrigerator. Backroom is a fairly large area that is shared with the washer and dryer. There is a small table for two. Sliding doors lead out to a large deck that oversees the back yard. A queen size mattress is available for use as well if you need it. There is street parking outside the front of the house as well as some spot in the back of the house off the alley. Duplex conveniently located close to the Toll Road, airport, downtown, and Notre Dame. Just a short 15-minute walk to Notre Dame and Eddy Street Commons. The space Downstairs offers living space with plenty of seating, kitchen, and 1/2 bath. Upstairs offers full bath and 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Other things to note House is a duplex with a shared main front entry door. Once inside the foyer, there are 2 "Apartments" - a North side and South Side. This listing is for the South Side.

Location-Close To Notre Dame

The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful area along the riverwalk of the St. Joseph River where you can hear and see different wildlife and nature. It is also location about 3 miles from Notre Dame, which you can get to from the riverwalk, driving, ubering or even the city offers scooters to rent! Restaurants and grocery stores are located within a mile or 2. Downtown South Bend is 3.4 miles away! The space This property has two bedrooms and one full bathroom with a bathtub. There is a detached garage on the property that is locked. It has a 6ft privacy fence on 3 sides of the yard and a 6ft chain link fence on the other side. There is a small about 4ft section between the garage and house that does not have a 6ft fence. It is filled with large tall trashcans and a 4ft chicken wire fence. We have a German Shepherd and Redbone Coonhound that cannot escape the backyard. If you would like to see a picture of this area we would absolutely be happy to send you one. The neighbor to the left does have two dogs themselves, which shares the chain link fence. They are socials pups, so if your animals like to talk they may make some new friends through the fence. Please remember this house does host many dogs that have free range in the house. They are allowed on furniture. The house is cleaned between each booking. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house, backyard and driveway. The garage will be locked. Other things to note There is a great corner desk located in the living room facing the window for fresh air and a prime view while you are doing your thinking! It has a monitor, mouse, keyboard and docking station for you to plug into. There is a stand alone fan in each bedroom closet and an ironing board in one of the closets. We will provide a couple rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available. The Riverwalk is a wide paved path along the St. Joseph River. There are two great parks within a 1/2 mile of the house that you can get to from the Riverwalk. The further one to the South, Keller Park, has pickleball and basketball courts as well as a playground and pavilions. The closest park, to the North, is Pinhook Park. Pinhook Park has a paved walking path that goes in a circle along a lagoon. In the middle is a large playground. The lagoon has a boat launch and kayak launch. There are a few kayaks at the lagoon boat launch that you can rent on a timed basis, sort of like a kayak vending machine. Lots of fishing happens on the lagoon. There are a couple boat launches on the St. Joseph River about a mile in each direction of the house, as well as plenty of spots to sit or fish along the river banks.
