We have personally driven up in several different types of vehicles, but 2WD vehicles may loose traction on the gravel. Some guests may choose to simply park at the bottom. Of course always drive with caution. Snow will be removed as soon as possible in wintry conditions, but the driveway may still be snow-covered and/or icy. Please note our base pricing includes the first 2 guests additional guests $15.00 each. We have recently installed starlink so WiFi is very strong. Cell service is limited. The space The rustic farmhouse has a King bedroom, a full bathroom, two common rooms , a fully stocked eat in kitchen and a laundry area on the main floor. There are three additional bedrooms and full bath upstairs. The Farmhouse is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate large gatherings. The house was built in the early 1900s so there is no duct work but we provide window air conditioners. In addition to AC the upstairs bedrooms have ceiling fans. We have a beautiful 10 X 30 Ft. screened in porch and a small open porch. This is a working farm, you might see an occasional tractor or the owner feeding his chickens! The chickens are located in an enclosed ranging area several 100 Ft from the house. Other things to note The house is on well water that is completely safe to drink, use for cooking and bathe in. We will also provide a drinking water station for your use. The parking area is large enough to accommodate 3 to 4 pickup trucks with toy trailers attached.

Watch the native wildlife from the oversized porch, relax around the spacious fire pit and then soak away the day's worries in the private hot tub. Our cabin is 25 minutes or less to many of Hocking's outdoor and indoor activities. If unplugging, hiking, and everything outdoors is what you love, this is the place for you. The space There are two bedrooms on the main floor. One bedroom has a queen bed with access to a half bath and the other is The Master with King bed and ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, stove/range, microwave, dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, blender, crock pot and coffee bar. The dining room has a large table that seats 10. The living room has one large reclining couch and two love seat recliners with USB charging ports. There is a small nook under the stairs. Upstairs has two Bunk rooms that can sleep up to 5 people. Both rooms have 1 Queen bed, 1 Single bed and Single bunk beds. There are several lounge spaces including a gaming nook with gaming chairs and X Box One. There is also a desk area and two lounge chairs for reading outside the game room. The game room includes a bumper pool table, mini fridge, popcorn maker, karaoke machine/speaker, TV, Bar stools and couch. There is a large covered deck that has a love seat, two chairs and coffee table. There is also a rocking chair, bar stools, a gas grill and Corn Hole set The Patio hosts a 7 person Hot tub and Firepit with seating for 10 Guest access Guests have the entire cabin and surrounding area to explore. We just ask that guests do not enter the additional buildings, garage. Please note the Do Not Enter sign and do not drive up the Neighbor's driveway on the left. Stay to the right and the cabin is at the top of the hill. Other things to note The driveway is very steep and we recommend All Wheel or 4 Wheel drive. Front wheel drive vehicles have been successful but we recommend turning off you car's traction control before going up the hill as it will impede progress if your wheels start to spin.

Upstairs there is an additional bedroom and a game room. The game room has a carpet ball table, built in playhouse and slide (along with a lot of hidden secrets). Outside you will find four different areas: 1. A large covered porch with 21’ ceilings and a hot tub 2. A smaller covered space with rocking chairs 3. A fenced in play space for young kids 4. A large patio and fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The Goat partially shares a driveway with another one of Hillside Ambles Cabins’, the Bee. We were very thoughtful on how the cabins are positioned to allow maximum privacy for both cabins. Other things to note The Goat is on top of a hill and has a steeper driveway but our minivan has no trouble with it during normal weather. However when it snows, we will have it plowed, but 4 wheel drive would be helpful with winter weather. Also, our cabins are surrounded by nature and at times ‘nature’ gets into the house.
