This authentic 2 story Log Cabin is nestled on a wooded lot with a stream running through the back yard where deer come to feed. The cabin is located in a gated community with a heated pool within walking distance, a playground for the kids, a basketball court and a beautiful lake suitable for fishing, and electric powered boats. The space Please bring your own sheets and towels. We have plenty of blankets and pillows. Also we have a full size washer and dryer if you need to launder anything before using or before leaving. The Log Cabin has 2 enclosed bedrooms downstairs and an open office area that doubles as a 3rd bedroom with a pull out sofa bed. 2 full baths; The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a Soaker tub and shower. The downstairs bathroom has a full size walk in shower. The cabin can accommodate 6 people to sleep and eat. The master bedroom has a king bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with full beds on the bottom and singles on the top, 2 roll away cots and the office area has a pull out sofa bed. The upstairs has a full size futon in the kitchen area. We also have a log chair that is a futon for a small child. All stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer in the downstairs laundry room, dishwasher, 4 burner stove, Streaming TVs in the living room and master bedroom, gas burning fireplace with remote and an electric fireplace/stove downstairs. There are 2 huge covered decks on the front and back that are the length of the house with 2 additional decks in the back approaching the stream as well as a gas grill and deck furniture. Guest access The whole house with the exception of the master bedroom closet which is locked and used for owners belongings. Other things to note Welcome to our Cabin From Memorial Day to Labor Day you are invited to use our community pool. We have a locked gate surrounding the pool and a key card is needed to gain access. You will find this card on the black table inside the front door. Take the card out of the holder and hold it up to the responder on the gate to gain access. Please leave the card/holder in the tray on the table inside the door at the cabin. If it is not there you will be charged $100 fee to replace it. We provided some pamphlets of places to go and things to do and see while you are here if you are interested. We have a well water system in the cabin and it is very sensitive to what is flushed down the toilet. To avoid major backups please do not flush anything down the toilet that does not belong in the sewer system. The cleaning fee covers vacuuming, dusting and the sanitization of the bathrooms and kitchen. You are responsible for washing the dishes ad putting them away. Garbage: Please dump the trash in the trash compactor at the intersection of Holiday Dr. and Hickory Hills Dr., or take it with you. Please do not leave trash outside because it will draw bears and other rodents. We have a locked gate surrounding the Trash Compactor and a key card is needed to gain access. This is the same key card that is used for the pool and is the card/holder in the tray on the black table inside the door at the cabin. Make sure you return the keycard/holder to the black table inside the cabin front door. If it is not there I have to charge a fee. You will be charged $100 fee to replace it. POOL: From Memorial Day to Labor Day you are invited to use our community pool. We have a locked gate surrounding the pool and a key card is needed to gain access. Downstairs you will find another small living space with a futon that converts to a full bed. There are two private rooms on this level, one with a queen bed, the other with a set of bunk beds (one full, one twin). Across from the bunk bed room you will find the laundry room. Across from the queen bedroom you will find the bathroom for this level that has a shower stall. Collapsible baby and toddler tubs are located in the laundry room in case you have small children. This is a 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Log Cabin located in White Haven, PA. Just 15 minutes from Jack frost/Big boulder. Their is a community lake to have picnics. The space This is a 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Log Cabin located in the Pocono Mountains. It is a completely remodeled home with many added features. Downstairs, you will find the living room with a propane fireplace, a game table to play cards or foosball along with 2 reclining couches. Behind the living room, you have an entertainment area with a pool table that rotates into an air hockey table. Also their is a small bar and a hanging chair to relax and read books or wait your turn for the games! The dining room has seating for 6, and the kitchen has all essentials to cook. The stove top is propane, and the fridge has water and ice. Walk out the back door to a nice 8-person hot tub. on the upper deck with the hot tub is a combonation propane/ charcoal grill with a side smoker. Back inside under the stairs are a large capacity washer and gas dryer. The downstairs bathroom has a new jacuzzi bathtub. The upstairs bedrooms are very spacious. One has 2 queen bed sets, a nice oak set on one side, and a log set on the other, so pick the one that fits you! The other has a queen bed along with a couch to relax on, which folds out into a full bed. This room also has access to the balcony with plenty of seating, a propane fire . pit/table, and wonderful views. The upstairs bathroom has a stand-up shower with a bench built in to relax. Out back, you will find a firepit that can be used along with a new 12ftx20ft deck. Out front, you have a driveway to fit up to 4 cars. We are one of just a few log cabins located on the Lehigh Gorge State Park & Lehigh River. Activities: Lehigh River Gorge State Park - it's perfect for walking, biking, fishing, tubing, and rafting. The park contains 4,548 acres of land and about 30 miles of the Lehigh River. Recreational opportunities include: hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and whitewater boating. About 26 miles of abandoned railroad grade follow the river and are available to hiking and biking and provide access for hunting and fishing. Whitewater rafting is a major attraction of the park. This section of the Lehigh River is Class Ill whitewater and is popular for rafting, kayaking and canoeing. Hickory Run State Park: The 15,500-acre Hickory Run State Park, has over 40 miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams. You must visit Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area which formed 15,000 years ago! It is a National Natural Landmark. Swimming: We recommend to plan a day of swimming at Hickory run State park lake. It has a sand beach and concession areas, bathrooms and bar-b-q areas. It is open from late-May to mid-September. The cabin was immaculate and huge. We loved the huge fireplace in the main family room, and also the outside fire pit. You can hear the running waters of the Lehigh River from the cabin. One of the great features of the cabin is the downstairs recreation room. Our son and his girlfriend and our daughter and her boyfriend spent the majority of the stay hanging there. It has a huge Irish Bar, a poker table, a pool table, and assorted other games. What a great party room. It is just a short walk through the woods to the Lehigh River Gorge state park walking trail. We hiked everyday down the trail, taking in the amazing views of the Lehigh River. With the hiking trail and river right outside our cabin, the fire pit, and the beautiful cabin's upstairs and downstairs living areas, plus the huge tv above the fireplace to watch the football games, we wound up never leaving the cabin. Lance and Lisa were amazing hosts, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even had our Thanksgiving dinner catered for us, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning for another stay soon, I can't imagine a better place to stay when in the Poconos.
