Welcome to our mountain paradise! This spacious home offers amazing lake & mountain views. The house is lakefront with a private covered dock, paddle boards & a swim platform. This is the epitome of “getting away from it all” with hammocks and a firepit. There are so many yummy dining options, waterfalls, wineries, breweries, and more if you can drag yourself away from the lake. The sunrises, moonrises, rainbows, and sunsets over the lake are breathtaking. Treat yourself- you'll be glad did! The space The house has ample natural light and gorgeous lake and mountain views. The kitchen is fully stocked. The living room has a gas fireplace and a wet bar. The downstairs living room has a huge snuggle couch and both living rooms have big screen televisions. The master suite is spacious and every bedroom has a desk for those remote workers. There are plenty of toys and books. The backyard is huge and the view from the hot tub, house and backyard never ceases to amaze! Guest access Our guests have the house, hot tub, backyard, fire pit, dock, decks, and lakefront to themselves. The property is over 3 acres, including a portion of the lake. We do allow our lovely across the street neighbor to use our extra boat slip as long as it doesn't bother our guests. Other things to note Please note the following restrictions on rentals: for Thanksgiving and Christmas, we require at least 5 days for any reservation. For holiday weekends, including Memorial Day, Labor Day, we require at least 4 nights. If you are bringing your furry friend - please note that there is an extra cleaning fee. Queen/Full beds upstairs with full bath. Loft area with double bed. Fully equipped kitchen. Hiking/fishing/golfing/boating, kayak rentals, restaurants, bicycling, casino nearby, something for everyone. The space Master bedroom is on the main floor. Two other bedrooms are upstairs. The loft area has full size bed and work/play area. This area is not suitable for small children without supervision. Other things to note Other than a baby gate provided at the bottom of the steps on the main floor, the only other baby product is a booster chair located in the master bedroom closet. Fiber optic service is provided throughout the property.

We have a large back porch perfect for morning coffee and evening dinners. Relax in the swinging bed on the screened in porch off the master bedroom. Walk out the back door and down to the private dock. You can bring a boat, there is room at the side to tie it off. We also have 3 kayaks that you are able to use at your own risk. We have 2 living areas. there is an additional lower level living/kitchenette area so there's plenty of room to spread out. Master bedroom has a king bed with 50" flat screen tv and french doors that access the screened porch with swinging porch bed. 2nd bedroom as queen bed with 42" flat screen tv and french doors that access the covered porch. 3rd bed room has queen bed with 42" flat screen tv. 4th bedroom downstairs has king bed, 55" flat screen tv with attached bath and french doors to lower porch. The sleeping loft has 2 sets of extra long bunk beds with (2) 32" flat screen tv's. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances (range is dual fuel - gas top burners and electric oven). Countertops are leathered granite. It is equipped with all pots, pan utensils etch that you could possibly need. We have an upstairs porch that stretches the entire length of the home. the porch area off the master is screened with a porch bed. Nice for reading a book or napping. There is also a porch on the lower level with swings. Adirondack chairs and ottomans. Our home has a private dock, the grandsons enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock. If you bring a boat, there is room at the front of our dock - buoys and cleats for you to tie off. You will need to make prior arrangements with a local marina to store your trailer. BOAT TRAILERS ARE NOT ALLOWED. We have 3 kayaks you are welcome to use at your own risk. We have a weber gas grill on the deck or check out several of our great local restaurants. Not recommended for children under 8. Stairs and porch railings are horizontal cable which could entice a small child to climb and possibly fall over. When you're done, chill in the rec room until dinner. Launch your boat at either of the 2 nearby boat ramps and tie up at the dock The space The main level has 3 bedrooms (1 master) - all with comfortable King beds. It also has a grand, open format kitchen/living room area, plus a full-length, all-weather sunroom to soak in the view all year round. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the most common cooking equipment, including a toaster, coffee maker, blender, crockpot, and kettle. There are 2 full baths on the main level - one in the master suite and one guest bath. The terrace level has a newly renovated rec room with big comfy leather couches, flat-screen tv, foosball table, ping pong, and plenty of games to fill your days. There is also a bunk room with 6 twin beds and a large bathroom. A covered terrace just off the rec room shares the lake views. The Area The Sweetwater location helps to ensure privacy, with a single neighbor sharing the driveway. Even though you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere the charming town of Hayesville is only a 10-minute drive. Fish or play in the river. Hike local trails and explore. Lake Chatuge, its beaches, boating and attractions are close by. Nantahala National Forest, which means "Land of the Noon Day Sun" in Cherokee, and its Tusquitee district offer hiking, picnicking and other outdoor recreational activities like kayaking and river rafting. Visit the unique mountain towns of Hayesville, Blue Ridge, Murphy and Brasstown. Try your luck at the casino in Murphy. The renowned John Campbell Folk Art School and craft shops are nearby, plus wineries, farmers markets, flea markets, theatre and folk music, and town square gazebo events like the Summer Concert Series. Golf at Mountain Harbor, Chatuge Shores or Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa – or treat yourself in the spa. Further afield visit the alpine town of Helen, Georgia. We do have neighbors and you may hear dogs in the area or across the river. • Safety/lighting – there is a bright security light next door (from dusk to dawn) that is excellent for safety and finding your way in late at night. However, there is light spill into the front bedroom, so please close the window shades for darkness. • Wildlife & nuisances – being on the river surrounded by nature lends itself to seasonal infiltration of wildlife, mosquitos, gnats, ticks, ants, spiders and poison oak. In the warm summer months don’t be surprised if you find uninvited guests. Luckily the spacious screened porch allows you to enjoy the ambiance of the river from while offering protection. We keep a range of bug repellant and pest supplies available. Recently in the area coyotes and bears have been sighted so please keep a watch over small children and do not leave food out. • Mud & dirt – please use outdoor hose on the side of the cottage to clean off mud or sand from the river or lake before going inside. • Allergies – the property owner’s cats do visit the property on occasion so be aware if you have allergies. The cottage is cleaned thoroughly after their visits. For feather allergies we have a variety of pillows for your convenience. • River traffic & levels – you’ll see adventure-seeking paddlers float by in their kayaks during daytime. Late afternoon, water released from the dam will cause the river to rise and run enthusiastically. Information on the timing of these water releases is provided for safety. • We take our COVID cleaning protocol seriously • Amenities – some highlights: • Full kitchen includes basics: a variety of spices, salt and pepper, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and cornstarch, bottle and wine openers. • Coffee station with coffee, tea, shelf-stable half-and-half, sugar and stevia. • The water is from a well and very tasty. A Brita Filter is provided to filter it. • Microwave, located on shelf in the laundry room. Please enjoy some popcorn, our treat! • BBQ grill, tools and propane provided. • Laundry Room including washer and dryer with detergent for 2 wash cycles. The water is soft, and you don’t need a lot of detergent to get things clean. Empty the dryer lint filter after each use. • Towels – we offer a selection for outside activities but please bring beach towels should you prefer them. Please only use bath towels for bathroom use. • A basket of throws/blankets is available for use on the screened porch in the evening or by the fire pit. It does get cool by the river. • Note: we do not offer a stereo or sound system/speakers. Please bring your own should you have need of one. And please be mindful of noise levels.

The space The main top level & the bottom lower level each have their own private entrance, the exact same floor plan. 'River's Edge' - Ultimate Riverfront Getaway

The Cabin in the Trees is a peaceful retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NW Georgia/western North Carolina, just two hours from Atlanta and Asheville, and minutes from the most exciting attractions the mountains and Lake Chatuge have to offer. Two bedrooms and two full baths on the main floor, including the king master suite. The loft includes a half bath with 2 twin beds. One king bedroom suite w/bath are on the walk-out terrace level.

Beautiful three story mountain home with an open belvedere tower, 360° views of the southern smokies, multiple decks to hang out on, pool table, foosball and lots of games to play. Full kitchen opens to great room with fireplace conversation areas, and dining areas. Creativity abounds surrounded by woods, streams and nature. Hang out on the porch swing or in the Adirondack chairs on the private balcony with your coffee and your thoughts. You'll be in awe while you're "unplugged in the Smokies" The space Minutes from Lake Chatuge. Just a few miles away from John C. Campbell Folk School. Day trips to Ashville, Chattanooga, Helen, Ocoee, Nantahala and many more. Tubing, skiing, hiking, fly fishing are just a few activities in the area. Guest access Our home is your home while you're here. Use the propane starting fireplace (please bring firewood with you). The garage has a charcoal grill and a green egg avaiable to grill on. The porch swing can be hung and used off the walkout basement level. Pool table inside and foosball in the garage make the basement a happnin spot. Other things to note These are a few of our favorite things; the Campbells Folk Art School & the Brasstown Valley Resort with horse back riding and a 5 star golf course! We are located 2 hours from Chatanooga TN, Asheville NC, Atlanta GA and several ski resorts ( Cataloochee, Beech Mountain & more) if you're looking for bigger places to visit. The charm of the space you'll be visiting is found in the small towns surrounding our mountain getaway. Hayesville, Hiawassee, Brasstown, Murphy, Blairsville and many more boast fall festivals and other seasonal celebrations that you just don't find in the bigger cities.

Unplugged in the Smokies

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The space This is a large, spacious, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath condo on beautiful Lake Chatuge. You will have full access to viewing the lake upfront and possibly catch a wedding on the porch. Amenities indoor include coffee maker, Keurig, blender, air fryer, full kitchen, stove, oven, and much more. TVs in every room. Linens included and washer and dryer in unit. Turn on the fireplace for those cozy nights. Walking distance to numerous restaurants. A dollar general is at the front of our road for purchasing convenient last minute items. Freedom boat club is right next door at the marina if you would like to rent a boat on the beautiful Lake Chatuge. Enjoy. Guest access Extra parking is located just a yard away at The Ridges Other things to note S’mores ate free every night at 8 pm at the main lobby just to your right off the deck by the fire pit.

Just steps away from Lake Chatuge, this 2-story condo has a private deck overlooking the lake and surrounding landscapes. Short Walk (<10 min walk) - Rentals @ The Ridges Marina: Boats, Kayaks, Bikes - Splash Island Inflatable Waterpark - Multiple Lakefront Restaurants & Bars  (Marina Station, The Oaks Lakeside Kitchen, Sand Bar/Grille) This unit has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. One bedroom is accessed through the primary bedroom - perfect for families with young kids. The space Two stories. Main floor: - One queen sized bed and full attached bath on the main floor Upstairs: - King bed primary suite with full bath. - Adjacent to the upstairs king room is another bedroom (sun room) that has a twin trundle (sleeps 2). To access this room you must walk through the king bedroom space. - 2nd large bedroom with attached full bath. Has a queen bed and a full+twin bunk bed. This room can sleep up to 5. Large windowed space downstairs with lake views. Important Note: There is a swimming pool across the street next to the Watercrest clubhouse that is accessible for renters. Please note that pool access cannot be guaranteed. This particular amenity may be closed at any time for maintenance or safety-related issues or for the season, and so we cannot 100% guarantee its availability. Closures for maintenance or safety are very rare, but like any amenity like this, we cannot guarantee it for dates in the future. Guest access Guests have access to our entire unit and deck area except for two owners closets. Access does not include use of any of The Ridges Resort amenities. There is no lake access via a dedicated dock that belongs to our complex, but there are clearings lakeside where you can access the lake by foot. Many people use these clearings to take out paddle boards, canoes, or for a swim.

The space Over 145 feet of Lakefront property with huge dual slip dock (one slip available for guests plus other options for boat storage) and big sun deck with ladder over deep water and also separate staircase leading down to water from the shoreline. Beautiful Cove location, great for swimming off the dock. House has been completely renovated throughout. Nearby Boat Ramp for dropping boats provided by Jack Rabbit State Park. Guest access Full House and Property are all available to guests. Everything is fully open to guests except detached storage shed and owners/maids closet. Other things to note Great wifi speed with BlueRidge EMC Fiber to the house. Also most power outlets have USB ports as well for your convenience and there are even chargers throughout the property for all phone types. There is also power outlets near the dock bridge and Wifi typically reaches all the way down to the lake throughout the dock area. Solar lights that come on at night to light the way through the backyard to the lower firepit and dock. Keurig K-cup coffee machine, every kitchen item you could imagine including an Air Fryer, Crockpot, many cast iron skillets, plenty of room in 2 separate living rooms and there are fireplaces both up and downstairs in the house that are gas powered. Please note, the inside dining area is downstairs while the kitchen is upstairs, but there is also a dining table on the fully screened in porch right outside of the kitchen.

Stunning lake front home with dock located on a quiet cove on lake Chatuge! This 3 bedroom, 3 bath home is tastefully decorated with all the comforts of home, complete with game room and fast Wi-Fi! Spacious covered porch provides seating for everyone and an outdoor grill to cook up a tasty meal! The lakeside gazebo provides a shady place to read a good book and the covered dock has additional seating as well as a ladder. This cove is perfect for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing! The space This recently built home has STEPLESS entry and showcases an open concept vaulted living area with large flat screen TV. The spacious kitchen has quartz counters with center island, a double oven range, and all the conveniences to whip up a meal. There is both KEURIG and REGULAR drip coffee pots. The primary bedroom on main level features a comfy King bed, TV, and an ensuite bath with dual sinks and large tiled shower. The second bedroom on main level provides a comfy King bed, a TV as well as a full guest bathroom across the hall with dual sinks and large shower. The third bedroom is located upstairs with 2 full size beds, TV, desk area, and an adjacent full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The upper level also features a large game room with ping pong table, chess/game table, large TV, tons of board games, Ms Pac-Man arcade and sofa-perfect as a hangout room for the kids. Washer and dryer also available for use if needed. Lakeside covered porch provides plenty of outdoor seating as well as a gas grill. The expansive yard is perfect for kids to play catch or corn hole. Bring your fire wood and marshmallows if you want to use the real fire pit in the evenings. You can bring a boat or jet ski to tie up to the side of our dock. SORRY- We DO NOT ACCEPT PETS staying at our lake home. No Exceptions! Other things to note If you bring your boat or jet ski, you can drop it in the ramp located right off Redbanks Drive only 1/4 mile away. Since we are in a small cove, we can fit one boat up to 26 ft long OR 2 jet skis. You can tie on the side of our dock since our own boat is in the slip. We do not rent out our boat. The Towns County public beach/recreational area and pickle ball courts are only 2 miles away. There are plenty of quaint women's boutiques, antique shops and great restaurants in Downtown Hiawassee. The Georgia Fairgrounds hosts many music festivals throughout the summer and Fall months. There is also tons of other activities nearby such as zip lining, horse back riding, golf, arts & crafts, etc. In addition, there are many hiking trails and waterfalls in the area.
