The space Your space is an updated suite with a queen bed and 40 in HDTV, ceiling fan, and french doors to a beautiful backyard and patio. You are welcome to access most of the rest of the home, the patio, and a small deck. This is my personal home and I am in the process of repairing and restoring so please understand it's not a construction zone, but it is not perfect either. My 2nd BR and the hall bath (usually locked) are not guest spaces. I am flexible when it comes to check-in. Churchill Downs is a short 15 minute drive away. Perfect location for enjoying the festivities of Derby Weekend. The space Your space is a bright newly decorated bedroom with a very comfortable queen bed, room darkening shades, ceiling fan, smart tv, wireless, white noise machine and full length mirror. Your private full bath is just two steps across the hallway. It is stocked with everything you need. Shampoo conditioner, hair dryer, shower gel etc. The bathroom has a nice tiled shower and fresh linens. Your bedroom is nice and cozy, perfect for a good nights sleep. There is always street parking in front of my house. In addition I have two parking spots in our back alley. You will need to come around to the front to enter the house. The back porch locks from the inside. Guest access While staying in my home you will have access to your bedroom and your private bathroom. You are also welcome to do laundry if needed. Just let me know in advance so I can make sure the washer and dryer are empty for you. Feel free to store anything in the fridge or freezer. You are welcome to use dishes or heat up anything in the microwave which is located in the pantry. Please put any used dishes in the dishwasher. Please note. The space Thank you for your interest in our space! This 600 square foot studio apartment has an open floor plan and a newly renovated bathroom. It is on the second floor with a rear entrance, and is the second of four tenant occupied units (one retail) in a turn of the century building. The unit has its own HVAC system so there is no recycled air between the apartment or other spaces in the building. Other things to note This is a busy (happy!) corner, especially on weekends. We want your pets (and ours) to be as safe and comfortable as you are, and the fee covers additional costs to complete allergen level sanitization. The space We love to travel with AirBnB, and think it has made us thoughtful and thorough in how we have furnished the space. A comfy King sized bed gives you room to stretch out, and the kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and silverware) provides a great space to get a little work done or search for your next favorite place to eat in Louisville (there are SO MANY!) A 3D walk through of the space is provided after booking! Guest access This is a studio-style apartment set up in the second side of our home, which is a duplex. You will have access to the large bedroom, updated bathroom, and multi-purpose room (kitchenette/laundry). It has a private entrance, and self check in with a keypad, so you can be as private or as social as you want. We have four (adorable, but we're biased) dogs who are frequently hanging out on our side of the backyard, so we ask that you keep the gate between the patio areas closed at all times for their safety. They are cute, but not very street-smart. Other things to note Note: the space shares a common wall with a theater/community rehearsal room. It is not used frequently, and never used by musicians, but you can hear the action when you’re in the bedroom.
