Round Lake is a 3,054 acre lake and home to bluegill, muskie, northern, walleye, bass, rainbow, and brown trout. The space Our four bedroom home on Big Round Lake has generous square footage for a family gathering or just a quiet weekend for two alone. An open concept main level living area with a fireplace is cozy and inviting while the walkout lower level provides an additional family room for card playing and games. The home comfortably sleeps 12 and is conveniently located 8 miles from the quaint downtown of Hayward, WI. Two bedrooms on the main floor are furnished with king beds, one lower level bedroom boasts a Sleep Number king bed, a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. The second lower level bedroom includes a queen bed and full laundry facilities. When you are not on the water, Linden Road provides the perfect location to take a leisurely walk or bike ride under a tree canopy. Guests can also choose to rent or bring their own ATVs on which you can roam the greater Hayward area on the Sawyer County trail system. Mountain biking on the CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association) trails is also very popular as is floating down the Namekagon River in inflatable tubes. As our guests, we want you to be able to jump in the car at the last minute without spending a lot of time packing and preparing for vacation, which means we will provide lots of amenities available for your use, including charging stations for electronics. We are very family friendly, with items for use such as a pack-n-play, infant bouncy chair and more. We are also equipped for an exceptional adult experience. You will find quality ceramic cookware, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with a view of beautiful Big Round Lake to enjoy as you sip a glass of wine or cocktail. Our home is air conditioned and we have an 80 amp Tesla charger for Guests’ convenience. Our dock was expanded in 2019 and we remodeled our main floor full bathroom! Grill up a feast and dine al fresco, or simply relax on the deck, taking in the beauty of the Northwoods. Round Lake is renowned for its clear waters and abundant recreational opportunities. Swim, fish or paddle around in the provided kayak and paddle board. A private dock lets you enjoy direct access to the lake, perfect for boating and fishing. Tie ups are available for boats with a boat launch .25 miles down the road. The cabin faces sound on a peninsula setting with sun exposure most of the day. Have a seat on the dock and enjoy a beautiful sunset view. The peninsula location offers you a quiet road to walk or bike ride. This cabin is part of a small association called Timberlane that has 10 cabins and shared amenities. Your cabin is a private stand alone cabin with private dock. You can swim off the shoreline which has small river rock with gradual depth. If you prefer sandy beach for little ones, there is a small public beach about 200 yards down the road that you can walk or bike to. The common amenities available to all guests include pickle ball, basketball, volleyball, a small playground, fire pit and fish cleaning house. PLEASE BE AWARE: there is max 3 car parking available at the house. Extra daytime guests can park down the road at the boat launch. If there are more than 3 cars overnight, we will need to set up accommodations a few miles down the road. There is NO boat/ATV/snowmobile trailer parking onsite. Welcome to the ultimate log cabin. Just finished in 2024, our family built this cabin so we can get everyone together throughout the year, and we hope you and your family can enjoy it as well. This cabin is ideally suited for families. With an awesome 286 feet of sugar sand frontage on Round Lake (perfect for swimming!), a 60 foot dock (great for fishing!) and a sauna, this cabin will get you out on the water in the summer and on the trails and other outdoor activities throughout the year. The space This cabin is meant to bring people together. There are 6 bedrooms with a total of 11 queen sized beds, and 2.5 bathrooms in this 3,100 sq. ft. cabin. You can bring up to 14 people (per Sawyer County regulation), or just bring a small group and enjoy the beautiful douglas fir logs that were custom scribed in British Columbia. There’s no TV, but there is a ping pong table and plenty of places to play cards and read books. We highly recommend going from the sauna to the lake, and back again. There is high speed WiFi for the screen addicts. The view of the lake is amazing, and there is a gentle slope down to the long private beach (286 feet of sand frontage!) with great swimming. Powells and The Dock are two great restaurants in the bay. Round lake has it all – it’s a full recreation lake with 3,300 acres of clear, spring fed, sand bottom goodness. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. There are many other great restaurants nearby, and Hayward is just 5 minutes away. The snowmobile and ATV trail network goes along highway B, giving you direct access. Other things to note Rentals are weekly during the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day), from Saturday to Saturday. For the rest of the year, it's a 2 night minimum. Per Wisconsin statute, the limit of guests is 14 -- 2 for each of the 6 bedrooms and 2 additional spread through the cabin.

The town of Hayward is only 10 minutes away to enjoy shopping, go karts, mini golf and of course the candy shop! You can bring your own boat or pontoon to the property and there is ample parking room for a trailer. Also included is a boat/pontoon lift that will accommodate any pontoon and most boats as well. We require use of the lift overnight and during inclement weather to avoid damage to the dock or boats as well as property of our neighbors. Welcome to The New Cabin on Nelson Lake. We have completely renovated and added on to this private cabin. The Cabin has been designed for families that like to have space and entertain. Open concept main floor, Large deck, primary suite, huge loft, quiet basement bedroom, two private docks, pontoon(for rent) and firepit area. Nelson Lake is great for fishing, play and has multiple bar/restaurants you can boat to. There are beaches, resorts you can visit or explore the 2,700 acres of lake. The space We just completed a complete addition and renovation of the property allowing for more space for larger groups. With enough beds to sleep 14 people we boast 5 bathrooms, large deck and open concept on the main level. The Cabin is a great weekend retreat for people that like the cabin experience with high end features like game room, two hot water heaters, large primary suite, 600 sq ft of deck space with privacy. Ice maker, towels, and bedding provided. Plenty of parking. Year round fun, we have direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails. Bear's Den Lodge has a great view from the dock of Osprey Lake. Which is located about 15 minutes from downtown Hayward. This amazing cabin is private, with a beautiful deck to enjoy the scenery. There is plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy your vacation to make special memories. You can enjoy fishing and kayaking on Osprey Lake. Great trails for Snowmobile/ATV access located within 2 miles of the property. Trails are well groomed for many miles of riding. The space This spacious home has 3 bedrooms plus a spacious loft with 2 beds and 2.5 bathrooms (one bathroom in master bath, 1/2 bath also on may level and another full bath downstairs. The cabin has full kitchen on main floor. There is an extra refrigerator downstairs for extra storage. There is no running water in the small area by the fridge downstairs. The property is very close to many trails, including the world-famous Birkebeiner with many ATV/Snowmobile trails. Guest access Rental guests have access of the entire property. This property sits on 5 acres of rolling seclusion, yet it is also only a short hike through our backyard woods, down the Town of Cable trails, before you're enjoying a coffee at Velo or a pizza at River's Eatery. There is also is easy access to the CAMBA mountain bike trails, snowmobile, and ATV/UTV trails! End your day with a muscle-melting steam in the private sauna house, or cozy up next to the wood-burning fireplace... or heck, why not just do both! The space This is a great property for those who want to be secluded but still want to have the conveniences of being close to restaurants and outdoor activities. We have a lot of outdoor space to roam between our 5 acres and the connecting Cable Town trails. BEDROOMS: The main house has 5 beds (1 king, 2 queen, 2 twin) across 4 bedrooms. There is also a separate 1 room "bunkhouse" with an additional 2 twin beds. Keep reading below for more details on the bunkhouse. BATHROOMS: There are 3 bathrooms in the main house, plus a bonus bathroom located in the sauna house. SAUNA: The private sauna house in the backyard allows for both steam and dry saunas. The sauna house has a heated resting room with a small kitchenette, so you can take regular sauna breaks and re-hydrate with a cool drink without having to go back to the house. WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE: Another perk of the house is our wood-burning fireplace, so you can get the complete Wisconsin Northwoods winter experience. PETS: Yes, we are dog friendly! HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING: During the summer season (June 1 - October 1), we have modern, high efficiency window-unit air conditioning in each of the four bedrooms in the main house, as well as one in the main house living space. For winter, we have a gas furnace for heating the main house as well as in-floor heating in the entryway and downstairs bedroom. Of course, there is also the wood-burning fireplace. INTERNET: We have high speed, fiber optic WIFI internet, great if you need to do any work from the main house! BUNKHOUSE: The bunkhouse is in the backyard, a separate building from the main house. It is a 1-room building that holds 2 twin beds. The linens for the beds are provided, and it is a "make your own bed" situation. There is no bathroom, but it is only a short walk back to the main house or sauna bathroom. There are baseboard heaters in the space to keep you warm during the cold weather months. For summer, there is a standing fan available plus plenty of windows for a summer breeze (no A/C). WIFI does not reach the bunkhouse, but cell service is strong. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house, sauna house, bunkhouse, and the complete 5 acre property. We do have quite a few other outbuildings on the property, but those buildings are not currently cleaned/maintained. Other things to note We have provided a few snowshoes for guests to use during their stay if they're coming during the winter months. This makes it easier to explore the property in the heavy snow, and it allows them to also enjoy the connecting Cable Town snowshoe trails! We do not regularly restock our firewood supply. You are welcome to use whatever wood we do have available in our woodshed, but we do not promise that there will be some available for you to use. You can buy firewood at the local gas station or grocery store store (Rondeaus), only a few minutes from the house, or at any other local stores that supply it.

A gas Webber grill and patio seating allows for outdoor cooking and dining while overlooking the lake. We also have a 20' Stracraft Pontoon that is included with our cabin during your stay. The pontoon will be in the water the middle of May through the first weekend of October. All of this is weather permitting. Included with your cabin is the use of our paddle board and kayak. The paddle board and kayak are stored on location right by the waters edge for your convenience. Weekly rentals for summer months. The perfect place for families & groups to gather for events or to just be together. The space The cabin contains four bedrooms and bathrooms and a large common space with open kitchen and dining area. There is a table seating 10 and 5 counter chairs for dining. An imposing fireplace, two game tables, a large couch, and a separate seating area provides space for everyone. There is a Roku enabled TV available for streaming, and a large collection of DVDs and even VHS tapes. Guest access Guests are as close as can be and have full access to all the trails in the area. The fishing on Teal is excellent. It's known for large Musky, Pan fish, Large mouth Bass, Small mouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. You're welcome to bring your own boats and park them at the dock during your stay. We can also recommend rental options if you wish to rent a pontoon or fishing boat. The rental does include a canoe for guests to use.  NOTE - Teal Lake is a Quiet Lake. Special QUIET LAKE Rules Apply on this lake -No person shall operate a boat on any of the waters identified by this ordinance at a speed greater than 10 m.p.h. So no pesky jet skis or wake boats to deal with while you explore the lake.  A Note About Dogs:  We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog(s).  We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog(s):  *Consider barking to be a favorite pastime;  *Chew things other than bones;  *Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or;  *Use the house as a bathroom.  We allow up to two dogs with prior approval and a small extra fee applies.
