The space Luella's has been completely renovated inside and out with all new appliances. There are 2 sleeping quarters; one on the main floor and the second in the loft. A short drive to hiking trails at Cape Split and Blomidon, or take a trip over North Mountain into the valley for a wine tour or tasting at one of the many local vineyards. Watch the tides rise and fall, clouds moving across endless skies, the stunning sunsets - or just enjoy the quiet. On a private road with few neighbours, Sunset Cottage has a double lot with open space for outdoor games and camping under the stars. The space 2 bedrooms and a double pull-out couch, plus a single floor mattress sleep up to 5 inside, so there’s room for the whole family or a group of friends. More adventurous types have grabbed sleeping bags and slept out on the back patio under the stars. There are no towns or cities nearby so the stargazing is superb - with very little light pollution, you can easily see shooting stars 💫 Huge windows on the ocean side of the cottage give you front-row seats for tracking the progress of the 10-12 metre tides in any weather, as well as watching seabirds, the occasional seal, and of course sunsets over the water. There’s also an outdoor fire pit so you won’t miss any of those ocean and sky views as night falls. The front deck on the east side of the cottage is best for morning coffee - if you’re quiet, the hummingbirds might join you! The space “Merrys Place” is located in a quiet cottage area. It’s on the beach, but please be aware there is a steep bank (approx30feet high) at the cottage. Its about a 5 minute walk to where you can gain easy access to the beach. Guest access You will have private use of the whole cottage during your stay.
