The living room boasts soaring 20-foot ceilings that create a bright, open gathering space. The home also includes beautifully renovated spaces throughout: kitchen, full bathroom and an additional half bath. The property is situated on over two peaceful acres. The back porch features a hot tub and outdoor dining area. Toward the rear of the property, you’ll find the wood-burning sauna and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, both overlooking the Roeliff Jansen Kill—a scenic creek known for its trout. Our home is located next door our neighboring property, the Green Cabin. Both this house and the Green Cabin can be booked together, based on availability, and sleep a combined total of 10 people. Guest access Guests have full private access to The Blue Cabin, including the hot tub, back porch, sauna and creekside fire pit area. The cabin sits on a 4-acre property that also includes another nearby rental cabin, which may be occupied by other guests unless both homes are reserved together. Each cabin has its own outdoor spaces for privacy, though the driveway is shared. Other things to note 1. The upstairs loft is accessed via a spiral staircase and overlooks the main living area. While it offers a sense of privacy, it is not fully enclosed. 2. The sauna is located near the creek at the back of the property and is heated by a wood-burning stove. It typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to heat up and requires adding wood several times during the process. Please plan accordingly if you intend to use the sauna. 3. The property has two ponds and a creek. Water levels and conditions can change quickly. Children must be supervised at all times while in the backyard and around any water features. Swimming in the creek is not advised and, if done, is entirely at a guest’s own risk. 4. Pet Policy: We welcome one dog only, approved on a case-by-case basis. Prior to booking, please message us with details about your dog (breed, age, size, and temperament). Cats are not permitted. An additional pet fee applies for approved dogs. Unapproved pets are not allowed. 5. Our home is located next door to our neighboring property, the Green Cabin. Both cabins have their own hot tubs, fire pits and creekside access, and this cabin has its own sauna; no outdoor amenities are shared. The backyards do connect, and guests at each property may see one another’s back decks. The driveway is also shared. Grill & dine on our wrap around deck overlooking a pond and nearby hills. Warm up by the stone fireplace after an adventure. A separate sunroom is a quiet place to read, work or exercise surrounded by trees. The den/playroom, stocked with a TV, toys and games, allows kids to play while parents cook & chill upstairs. The space Our house is laid out in two levels. Once you come up the deck stairs, you'll arrive at the main entrance to the house. The living room, with a large stone fireplace and ample seating, has plenty of room for the whole family. The kitchen and dining room are also on this level, and our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd need to cook up your farmers market finds. Our dining room comfortably seats 8. Up 4 small stairs are the three bedrooms and shared bathroom with a bathtub/shower. We have one King bedroom, one Queen bedroom, and one bedroom with two sets of Twin bunks. We comfortably sleep 8 guests. All our bedrooms have window treatments. Coming back down the stairs is the finished lower floor of the house, with an oversized TV/playroom and queen sleeper sofa, plenty of toys and a full keyboard. There is also a full bathroom also with a bathtub/shower on this level. Finally, we have a private sunroom off the garage, which is the perfect spot to read, stretch or take a call if need be. The 3 acre property is expansive and mostly cleared, with tons of room to run around, play games and hang in the hammock. We have a playset for kids outside as well. Finally, the in-ground heated saltwater pool is fully fenced and has plenty of sun loungers for everyone to enjoy a day of swimming and relaxing! Guest access You will be able to use the entire house. Please note that to access the upper and lower levels of the home, you will have to be able to do a flight of stairs. The stairs separating the upper and lower levels also go partially through our garage (which is heated). Welcome to our beloved family country retreat - it's got all the space you need to relax and reconnect with friends and family comfortably. Perfect for weekends exploring the Hudson Valley, or relaxing at the house. SPRING 2026 UPDATE: We are holding back availability once construction starts on a pool, hot tub and pickleball court in mid-May. Stay tuned for new pictures, and dates once construction is complete. The space Welcome to the Hideaway - our family's refuge. Our home outside of Red Hook is quiet, set on a hill with views of the surrounding hills and spectacular sunsets. We are frequent visitors and host to friends (hence low availability), but are happy to share our space when we can't be there. The house common spaces are open and airy. Our chef's kitchen has a Viking range and warming drawer, and nearly all the kitchen gadgets you'll need to make your meals. The kitchen table seats ~ 8-10 for informal meals; the dining table in the great room has seats for 12. The couches in both the great room and the media room are perfect for napping, reading, or watching TV. (We don't have cable, but you can sign in to streaming services or choose a DVD from our collection.) There's an additional TV/play space in the basement that our kids love for games. The basement is also home to a small work-out area with a Peloton Row, Peloton Bike, weights, mats, and yoga blocks. The bedrooms are cozy places to recharge, with two on the main floor, and two upstairs. On the main level, we have one King bedroom, and one en-suite Queen bedroom. Upstairs, you'll find two more Queen bedrooms and a hall bathroom. All of the Queen mattresses are firm; the King is softer. We have an additional bonus room upstairs filled with books and a comfy couch; it is adjacent to an office area that is open to the kitchen below. If you're working remotely, there are two work spaces with desks and monitors to plug in/cast to. The first space is an office upstairs that is open to the kitchen below. (Great to work but still be part of the action, less great for calls.). The other desk space is in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Outside of the house, there's plenty to keep you busy. There's a large patio ringed with solar cafe lights for lounging, dining, and roasting marshmallows around the Solo Stove. For the kids, there's a large play structure (visible from the patio). The garage stores an outdoor ping pong table and additional games and toys you can bring out onto the lawn - half-court pickleball net, Kan Jam, Bocce, a kiddie pool, slip and slide, and enough sleds for the whole family. The house might be our kids' favorite spot, so we are stocked for them and their friends. We have a pack-and-play, toddler cot, and several high chair/booster seat options. There are plenty of toys and games to try out and a well-loved "art corner." Outside of the house, we are quick drives to many of the best places in the Hudson Valley. If you're looking for fruit picking, or local brews, Vossburgh Brewery, Rose Hill Farms and Cidery, Grieg Farms, and many others are all ~15 minutes away. 15 minutes will also put you in Tivoli, Red Hook, or at Bard College. Rhinebeck and Hudson are roughly 20 minutes. For winter sports, Catamount is 30 minutes north, while Butternut, Hunter and Bosquet are about an hour away. Important notes: - Guests will not have access to the indoor fireplace - We cook at the house - a lot! As such, the kitchen has most of the spices and oils you could want; we leave some condiments in the refrigerator that guests may use. - In the winter months, we recommend a 4 wheel drive - our driveway is long and steep, and can get icy. We do have it plowed regularly when it snows, and there is salt in the garage if needed. - Year-round, we do recommend ensuring that your furry friends are treated for ticks before visiting as the neighborhood deer do enjoy wandering through our yard daily. We treat the mowed yard, and around the house for tickets regularly, but, it's the country, and we do occasionally find the little buggers. We leave OFF and tick remover in the entry way. Guest access Guests will have access to most of the house. Because this is a place that we frequent, there will be some locked closets and cabinets. There are plenty of condiments in the refrigerator, and all the cooking basics (oils, spices, etc) for guest use. The fireplace in the Great Room will be not be available for use. The house is located right on the North Twin Lakes, which is a private lake community. The light-filled living room has an abundance of southern exposure, bringing the beauty of the outdoors in. Enjoy the designer kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances, and a well-stocked kitchen with everything a modern chef could need. There are four total bedrooms, with two on the main level and two upstairs. The main level bedrooms are both master bedrooms that each feature an ensuite bathroom with a large shower. All rooms in the house feature built-in electric AC units (controlled with a remote) and the sunroom is a great place to chill with the cool lake breeze. Located directly on the lakefront, The Waterlily House is an indoor and outdoor year-round retreat. Enjoy swimming or boating in the lake, sunbathing in lounge chairs on the water, roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, and gazing at the star-filled sky in the summer. But don't be surprised if you find yourself opting to relax in the sunroom playing board games while you soak in the sounds of the birds and the spectacular lake views and fall foliage. It's flooded with natural light and filled with character, including eclectic ‘70s decor paying homage to its groovy original construction but updated for maximum comfort: gigantic old movie posters, antlers and vintage tennis rackets, cow-hide rugs, velvet couches, and natural-wood beams and walls. It’s got three sunny, airy bedrooms, each with a dreamy king or queen bed (one of which has an extra twin trundle) topped with down comforters, surrounded by cozy window seats or bright skylights. The serene main suite has a private bathroom with a skylit shower, two big closets, and a sliding glass door that looks directly onto the pool and opens right onto the sprawling deck. Our open-plan kitchen and living room include a chef’s kitchen — decked out with a brand-new Viking range, a massive granite kitchen island with an eat-in countertop, and all the tools you need to make a delicious gourmet meal — a crackling wood stove topped with vintage copper pots, an 8-person dining table, cozy chairs and couches and floor pillows to spread out in front of the fire and gaze out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the swaying oak trees and the sparkling stars. Outside, hike or simply watch wildlife in our 50 acres of secluded forest and grounds. If it's too chilly to work out outside, hop on the exercise bike or tune in to a virtual workout class in our sunny attached yoga studio. Take a dip in our big saltwater pool (open seasonally and unheated — please inquire before booking!), surrounded by a ‘70s-themed cabana bar, a Finnish steam sauna and 7-person hot tub (both open year-round), an outdoor shower, grill, and wooden deck with multiple comfortable seating areas and an 8-person teak dining table. Watch the sunset at the gazebo next to our private pond, or on cold winter nights, snuggle up with some cider and watch the stars while sitting in Adirondack chairs around our fire pit. If you’d like to work remotely from the property, we get incredible cell service and have high-speed fiber optic wifi (both rare for the area). And there’s plenty of extra space to work from, including a private, detached artist’s studio furnished with a table/desk, roller chair, couch, and a wood-burning stove. There's also an additional desk and several comfy chairs to work from in the bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. The main house has central AC and heating — plus heating inside the artist’s studio and yoga studio — and there’s a one-car garage and plenty of additional space for parking, plus a brand new washer and dryer and soft linens. If you feel like cozying up at home, we’ve got high-speed fiber optic wifi and a smart TV, board games, bocce and puzzles, and a piano and a ukulele for when those moments of artistic inspiration strike you. But there's also so much to do outside of our walls and all around the Hudson Valley, which is both a peaceful, natural escape and a charming confluence of restaurants and shops. Guest access You have private access to the entire home and all of its external buildings: the pool and poolhouse, the sauna, the hot tub, the yoga studio, the artist's studio, the gazebo and pond, the garage, and the 50 acres of woods. We’re in the woods, and on a protected wildlife preserve, which means there are animals and bugs and birds, some of which make their homes near ours (and we don’t disturb them). And we purposefully kept our house as authentic and cool as it was when it was built as a hunting cabin in the 1970s. It’s full of charm and character and incredible vibes, and it can have its occasional quirks. This scandi beauty is 30 minutes to Catamount Resort for skiing/adventure park and is the perfect home base for Hudson Valley enthusiasts who want to be near great food and antique shopping in Rhinebeck or Hudson, or visit historic homes like Clermont or Wilderstein. A lovely 1650 sq ft cottage on a dead end street, it's the best of both worlds with neighbors nearby yet very secluded. The large back deck overlooks a half acre of private woods with zen walking path and lots of room to spread out. The space This chic home is brimming with artistic updates and handmade finishes. Owned by two artists that value privacy and personality, the feel is a bit shabby-chic yet elegant and comfortable. Guest access Guests are welcome everywhere. Other things to note We request no shoes on the carpeted bedrooms please or bathroom floors (newly painted). Other than that, please feel free to spread out and get comfy!

Tallberg - A Swedish Cottage

CATS Welcome! DOGS MUST BE APPROVED UPON REQUEST! Not for those allergic to cats. An 18th-century Carpenter Gothic style farmhouse c.1840 style with a trellised porch overlooking fields. Sleeps six in 3 bdrms. The house combines modern utilities (2 full baths, WIFI, smart TVs, washer/dryer, & full kitchen) antique furniture & two 18th-century stone fireplaces . Rural, yet only 1.6 mi. to village with many eateries, 2.8 to grocery store. 8.5 to Rhinebeck, 6 to Bard, and 2 to Aerodrome. The space The Cat’s Meow is an 18th-century hand-hewn post-and-beam farmhouse that still sits on approximately 1 acre of land with a small barn, vegetable garden, and fruit trees. The farm once owned all of the fields on and across both its street and the road to the back. Fronted by a fieldstone wall, it is the only historic house on its road, and the fireplaces, exposed beams, and some of the floor boards date from the 18th-century. The original homestead possibly belonged to the Orlich, Fraleigh, or Scholz families. More research is forth coming. A 19th-century owner remodeled the exterior in the Romantic Carpenter Gothic style, defined by the trellised front porch and board-and-batten siding. The local architectural influencer, Andrew Jackson Downing, and his favor architect, Alexander Jackson Davis, advocated for country villas or cottages that used the indigenous American material, wood, in a style reminiscent of the verticality of European Gothic, thus the name Carpenter Gothic. The prevalence of this style in the Hudson Valley led to the nickname, Hudson River Bracketed. At this time, Jacqueline, the owner does not know if either Downing or Davis consulted on this house, or if it followed one of Downing’s many published patterns. Downing’s conception and Davis’s construction planted the seats for the American suburban house (villas for the middle class), making this home a historic representation of how farm land converted to suburbia. The trellis porch offers beautiful views of fields and hills that once belonged to this property. Sometime during the early 20th-century, the farm was converted into a boarding house named “Milan Manor.” The current owner’s family purchased the much-damaged home in the mid-twentieth century. Over the past three years, Jacqueline has entirely renovated the structure, wiring, and interior. She has also added period appropriate antiques from the late nineteenth and early 20th centuries. As restored, the house comes with all modern utilities, including two communal full baths (the upstairs bath retains a 19th-century claw-foot enameled tub). All of the rooms are named for cats. The three bedrooms include Claudis's Room (15’x15’x) with a queen size bed, Lorenzo's Room (17’x12’) with a full bed, and Dolly's Room (15’x11’ and only 6’2” tall) with two twins. The latter two can be united through a locked door. Lorenzo's and Claudis's rooms each have cathedral ceilings with exposed beams. All of the bedrooms include a closet, dresser, mirror, desk, two chairs, a CD/radio player, reading lights, WiFi, and a smart TV. The bedrooms all display either the original floor boards and/or beams. The linen closet off the bathroom stores more towels, linen, blankets, space heater and a cot if an extra bed is needed. The ceilings of the central hall, bathroom, and upstairs doorways are (6’ or 6’1”), as was typical in 18th-century farmhouses. Downstairs, the ceilings and doorways are all standard height. The newly installed full bath includes a tub with a shower in addition to a washer and dryer. Both bathrooms contain hairdryers and other essentials. Flanking the central foyer (Frieda's Foyer), are two large living rooms with fieldstone fireplaces that were made from stone mined from the property. The more formal, Silvestrina's Sitting and Dining Room, measures approximately 15’x20’ and has the original beams and wide floor boards. The oak table sits six, but an extension leaf allows for eight. The room includes a smart TV, a comfortable sofa, and two glass-fronted art nouveau cabinets (one with ceramics by local artists). On the opposite side of Frieda's Foyer (which contains games and tourist information in the bureau) is the more casual, but equally grand, family room, the domain of Artie, the resident mouser if you choose to have cat on demand during your stay. (If you bring your own cats, Artie is content outside with the garage as his nesting space) Artie's Room includes a large-scale TV, books, puzzles, crayons, a writing nook, and an antique (slightly out-of-tune) piano for your playing pleasure. Off the dining area, Mama Kit's renovated full kitchen opens onto a large back porch with a grill. The porch tables and chairs are arranged for dining or admiring the yard which includes a small barn, a vegetable garden, and fruit trees. Our guest rooms and hallways resemble a contemporary museum lushly decorated with a wide variety of original photographic artworks by well known local artists. The color photographs depict important historic Hudson Valley architecture and landscapes ranging in scale from 8 inches to 6 feet. All artwork is available for purchase so take home a small piece of the Hudson Valley as a unique souvenir so your pleasurable stay with us will linger for years to come. All of the rooms (except for the foyer, stairs, and baths) are air conditioned. The downstairs coat closet contains disposable litter boxes in case you cannot transport yours. The owner lives next door in a modern wing that she built twelve years ago. It connects to the farmhouse through her office, which she keeps locked to respect your privacy, as you do hers. This proximity allows her to arrive quickly if you need assistance. In spite of its rural surroundings, The Cat’s Meow is only 1.6 miles from the charming village of Red Hook, 8.5 from sophisticated Rhinebeck, 5.9 from the Performing Arts Center at Bard College, 2.1 from the Red Hook Golf Course, 1.9 from the Rhinebeck Aerodrome, and 12 miles from the Omega Institute. Many neighboring farms sell fresh produce and dairy products, while some offer fruit picking or horseback riding. Red Hook Wine can deliver purchases, at no extra cost, before 7:30 pm. Taxis and Uber can pick you up at the Rhinecliff Amtrak station. While Hertz will meet you at the Poughkeepsie station if you pre-order a rented car. A bicycle store in Rhinebeck does rent, but the number of rentals are very few so you should book well in advance. Car rentals are available in Kingston, just across the Hudson). Zipcar has a location at Bard College, which must be confirmed in advance and might not be operating during the pandemic. During Covid-19, all of the white bedding and towels are bleached, while the handmade traditional quilts are washed then sun-sanitized. The space Our home is in a quiet, secluded location and includes 4 bedrooms with king & queen sized beds, 2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms with an AppleTV, open kitchen layout with breakfast nook, and dining room that seats 10. Take a dip in our private in-ground pool in the summer, enjoy the views of the forest during fall foliage, or curl up with a book in front of the fireplace in the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, coffee beans & coffee maker, and basic cooking supplies like oil, salt and pepper. We also have 2 gas grills for cookouts, and an outdoor table on the upstairs deck and by the pool. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, silverware, and dishes. We even have coffee and tea stocked for your stay! You may notice in the pictures that there is a vintage refrigerator in the kitchen, there is an additional refrigerator with a freezer in the pantry. The pantry is available for use during your stay. Though there have been many updates throughout the house, the kitchen maintains a vintage style with modern touches. Accompanying the vintage refrigerator, is a large cast iron farmhouse sink and a vintage electric stove. You will find plenty of counter space with the butcher block island to prepare a holiday dinner or simply enjoy a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Located on the main floor is an additional full bath with a standup shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer for guest use located behind the closet doors in the bathroom. The house has three bedrooms on the second floor; the third bedroom is equipped with a dedicated work space #WFH. On the second floor you will also find a shared bathroom with stunning tile work and a clawfoot tub for soaking in the fresh air on this country getaway. The master bedroom is situated with a king sized bed and a private stairwell. This bedroom has a window A/C unit. There are neighbors on both sides of the property, but a short walk down the road will lead you to endless rolling hills and views for miles. The whole family will enjoy the many stylish spaces to relax, indoor and out, and the ease to explore great local businesses nearby The space The anticipation mounts as one cruises the country roads heading for Milan Hill. Well-maintained old farmhouses and pastoral vistas line the route until turning up the long private driveway where the muted red house eventually comes into view. It’s not immediately evident that the house is an A Frame. The tall gabled section has a perpendicular addition that accommodates a gracious foyer, as well as the master suite, which features king bed and a modern glass-enclosed shower. Moving down the hall two guest bedrooms, one on either side of the hallway, include comfy queen beds, and they share the second full bathroom, which has also been renovated with modern fixtures, and includes a tub/shower. Then into the heart of the house where the A Frame style, with its soaring ceiling, becomes evident. Our cool, cozy rustic cabin sits on 4+ acres with a creek bordering the back field. When you're ready to venture out, Rhinebeck, Hudson and Tivoli are just a short drive away. Three bedrooms, wood burning stove, cabin-y furnishings for a laid-back stay. The whole house is yours to enjoy. The space This is a classic 1970’s chalet-style cabin, complete with cedar interior wood walls and a groovy spiral staircase. Our furnishings: mostly flea market, garage sale and yard sale finds, along with items we've picked up during our travels. Our house is set back and can’t be seen from the road the back country road -- which, by the way, is great for long walks and bike rides. If you get up early, you will see an amazing sunrise over the creek and back field. The early morning sun floods the living/dining room with light. Bald eagles can be spotted along the Roeliff-Jansen Kill (the creek out back) during the winter months. Summers seem to be getting warmer, so central air conditioning will be up and running in time for the 2021 summer months. But this is the country, so, weather permitting, we think you will enjoy opening the windows, dozing off to the sound of chirping critters and waking up to a chorus of birdsongs. Sorry, there is no dishwasher. Guest access Wifi: The service from our carrier, Frontier, is very good. Once in a while you may experience a blip that may last a minute or two. Sink into one of the two facing modern sofas or side chair, kick off your shoes, switch on the fireplace and find yourself both mesmerized and calmed by the dancing flames. Or maybe you’re ready to tackle the book you’ve saved for vacation from the comfort of the hanging egg-chair. Or even better, you just want to absorb your surroundings in one of the Acapulco chairs facing the endless view. Sleeping Accommodations and Bathrooms The Hammock Hill House has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, comfortably accommodating your group of up to 10. The spacious primary bedroom is located off the living room and features a king size bed, with dual nightstands and lamps, a full-length mirror and ceiling fan. The en-suite bath has a soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. Upstairs, the first guest room offers soaring ceilings with beam accents, a queen bed and two twins. The second guest room also offers soaring, beamed ceilings and a queen bed. The upstairs bath features a tiled walk-in shower and is fully stocked with towels and soaps . On the lower level, just off the lounge, is the last guest room with a king bed, dual nightstands and lamps. The lower level guest bath offers a tub/shower. Outdoor Amenities State-of-the-art heated gunite pool, complete with an outdoor kitchen, firepit, lounge chairs, seating, Smart TV and Sonos sound system. Please clean up after your dog in the grass areas of the property. There is no fenced in area and we are off a road that has some traffic and have neighbors with dogs, so please be extremely mindful with any off leash dogs. The back deck does have a little gate which can be helpful with keeping dogs from running off, but letting them have some time outdoors. -Cancellation Policy: We strictly follow the cancellation policy selected at booking. Charming country house with access to all that the Hudson Valley has to offer! Spacious, light-filled 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house with a huge yard, back deck for BBQing, and new saltwater hot tub. Located next to Lake Taghkanic State Park, 20 minutes to Hudson and Red Hook/Rhinebeck. The space Enjoy the open floorplan of the dining and living area that are filled with light and open directly to the back deck. We've stocked the bookshelf with games, books, and records for the record player. And if you're feeling like staying in watching movies, we have a DVD player with a wide selection of DVD's and a ROKU. The master bedroom on the first floor has an en suite bathroom, while three additional bedrooms can be found on the second floor. We have a wood-burning stove in the living area for a cozy and warm stay by the fire. After a couple hours, the stove will heat the whole house, even on the coldest night. We renovated the en suite bathroom on the first floor with shower stall making in more accessible for our guest who have mobility issues. Eat breakfast on the south-facing back deck (or looking out at the big windows when it's cold) with beautiful sunlight overlooking a wooded area that leads down to the Doove kill Creek. If you're feeling brave, you can follow the path down to the creek to find a little piece of paradise surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of nature. Chill in the privacy of the backyard or stay inside the house and relax. It's the perfect place for relaxing, writing, creating, hanging out with friends or venturing out to state historic sites, hiking trails, wineries, antique shops, and great locally-sourced restaurants. Stony Hill Haus blends historic charm with modern luxury, and offers all the amenities for an idyllic countryside retreat for families or groups of friends. The space Stony Hill Haus is located in the story book town of Pine Plains, 2 hours north of NYC. THE HOUSE The interiors of Stony Hill Haus mix antique and designer furnishings throughout, with linen bed sheets, a large freestanding soaking tub for two, and a Swedish Cedar sauna. There are three thoughtfully designed guest suites, each with its own renovated bathroom, plus an extra loft bedroom. The home is equipped with brand new SMEG, LG and Bosch appliances. Downstairs, the living room is spacious and comfy with 17 foot high ceilings, exposed beams and plenty of places to sit and relax whether in front of the fireplace, to watch TV - or play the piano. The large open plan chef’s kitchen is the perfect place to prepare home cooked meals around the farm style island and to host memorable gatherings with friends and family. The kitchen is fully equipped with all essential cooking equipment including a stocked coffee bar and pantry, cast iron pans, kitchenaid mixer and all the usual spices and condiments. The kitchen opens to the dining room with designer table and chairs and Soho Home dinnerware for 8 guests. There is a second cozy sitting area and sunroom that is connected to the kitchen, a great place to play cards or board games provided. On the ground floor are two spacious bedrooms. The first with two twin beds (can be turned into a king upon request), provides a spa-like experience with its own private sauna and shower, plus direct access to a half-bath across the hall. The other bedroom (the blue room) has a queen size bed and private ensuite bathroom. Upstairs you will find an extremely spacious main bedroom suite with vaulted ceilings and a king size bed, a sunroom that’s perfect for morning yoga or to sit and enjoy a book on the chaise lounge, and a light-filled ensuite bathroom with a huge free standing soaking tub and forest views. Connected to the main bedroom is a mezzanine that overlooks the dining room, which has a comfy daybed that can pull out to be a queen size bed to sleep up to two additional guests. Please note this room is only accessible through the main bedroom and therefore not private. A 2nd upstairs loft overlooks the living room and provides a home-office setup with a work desk, chair and wifi. The main entrance is through the mudroom, which provides a bench area to remove and store your coats and shoes, and opens to a large laundry room equipped with a brand new LG washer and dryer, folding station, and a half bath. OUTDOORS Savor the surrounding natural beauty the property's vast 17 acres of gardens, woodlands, and a pond. Our home is located on an unpaved, private road in a quiet area and features an in-ground, heated, saltwater pool open between Memorial Day and Late September. In 2026, the pool will be available for bookings 5/22 - 9/18. A quiet and private getaway in the Hudson Valley and convenient to many popular activities. NOTE: For bookings during pool season, guests will be asked to review and agree to the safety rules relating to the pool. The space Our property includes a house with 3 bedrooms and an office with a pullout sofa. The home has central air conditioning and heating. Between Memorial Day and late September you will also have access to our in ground, saltwater pool heated between 80-85 degrees depending on the weather. The home also has a wood burning fireplace and there’s a fire pit with wood chairs outside. We provide plenty of kiln dried firewood. Guest access Guests have access to all of the land and the main house with a two car garage. During pool season (Memorial Day to late September) guests will have access to the pool area. There’s is a separate detached garage building we ask that guests not enter. Other things to note For bookings during pool season (Memorial Day through late September) guests will be required to review and agree to safety rules related to the pool.
