Enjoy the country life while spending your evenings on the town. On the farm or take a drive down to the grasslands or up to the lakes, this house is central to it all. The space Willow Creek Farm is a 54-acre private farmhouse with a pool ( not heated )and wide open spaces. Private setting, open pastures and beautiful sunsets. 5 minutes from a grocery store yet far enough away from everything. Located in beautiful Washington county. House and land is useable to guests. Guest access Guests can use the entire house minus the basement. Can use the Pool, decks, backyard, fire pit, grill, gardens, and front yard. Can walk down the driveway and out through the far back fields for a hike. Do not enter the neighbor's farm. Yes, the house seems quite far away but fence lines are within 100 feet of the property line. No entry into the neighboring property or any fenced areas with horses nearby or on the farm. But feel free to explore our land out back it's absolutely beautiful. Our big barn is off-limits including behind it and around it, as we do use it for our personal use currently and we have a caretaker apartment in the back of the barn so no access to this area. Barn is over 1000 feet from the main house and has a separate driveway behind the barn for owner use. Other things to note In summer you can watch the Hot air balloons take off from the property behind on nice days, they fly overhead nearby sometimes. You can hike through the back fields and pick wildflowers, and see the wildlife. 2 miles down the road is Rogers Island, where you can launch kayaks. There is a Bike path nearby in Fort Edward and a bike rental shop as well at the biking trail. A blueberry farm that is open during the season for pick-your-own. A strawberry farm is open during the season for pick-your-own. Several nearby Apple farms and King Dairy has a beautiful onsite Ice cream shop with custom-created ice creams from their dairy. About 3 miles away is a cheese-making shop where they sell locally made cheeses, yogurts, and farm products. So we have a very fun area to explore. Lake George outlets and the Lakes are about 20-25 minutes away and Saratoga is also a short 20-30 min drive.

Rainy days you can relax in the game room playing endless games of pool, fool’s ball and darts in between a awesome selection of board games. There is plenty to do in Lake Luzerne or you can drive 15 or 20 minutes and have a ton of things to do. You definitely need to visit the Folk Art school. You can book a class or just visit the gift store. Lake Luzerne Museum is located right across the street from the Folk Art School and gives you a great view of Lake Luzerne’s history. The pulp mill is open occasionally. Kayaking in Lake Luzerne or visit the 2 beaches on Lake Luzerne. You can launch you boat or jet skis from the boat launch on the Hudson River which is 5 minutes away. Climb Potash Mountain to see the spectacular views. Take a scenic tube ride down the Hudson River. At West Mountain you can go skiing or snow tubing in the winter and do the high adventure course or mountain biking in the summer. Bon’s Ice Cream and Adirondack Mini Golf is always a great place to stop. In Lake George which is 20 minutes away, you can take a ride on one of the historic paddle boats. Visit the historic Fort William Henry and Fort Ticonderoga. Walk down the Main Street and go through all the shops. Must have ice cream at Martha Dandee crème. Numerous mini golf courses, bowling and arcades to visit with the family. Great Escape six Flag amusement park is a fun day for the whole family. Saratoga Springs offers thrilling horse races and concerts and cool shopping experience. Glens Falls is a great town to get a bite to eat and do some shopping at the oil and vinegar shop and Rude Betty’s gift shop. They have a annual balloon festival in September. You absolutely need to see the fall foliage. Take a ride around Lake George and travel back down through the green mountains for some spectacular views. Recently, there have been sightings of a moose in Lake Luzerne maybe you will be lucky and see one as well while you are in your adventures. Come back to the cabin to enjoy some downtime and to a well stocked kitchen to make a special meal. We do require you to list all guest staying at the cabin over 18. If they are not a Airbnb member we need a list separately. During the winter months you should have 4-wheel drive since we are in a remote location, we are located off a county road next to a state park and are on a mountain, so we get plenty of snow. We have the driveway is plowed but it is a gravel driveway so you will need a vehicle capable of handling that type of weather and terrain. We have sand barrels along the driveway that you can use to put down before you attempt to drive up it. If your vehicle is not equipped with 4-wheel drive, please consider a different location during the winter months we will not be responsible for you getting you out of a snowbank. We do allow 2 dogs per stay. You will pay a pet fee of $ 50.00 per dog. Please do not leave them in the house unattended. Also, be mindful of picking up after the dogs and they need to be on a lease at all times if you are outside. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or the beds. Two large separate living rooms make vacationing with a large group or family easy and enjoyable. The lower living room is a fantastic space for watching the big game or hosting movie night with 3 couches, and a big screen 70” smart tv. You will find a wide array of puzzles, games, cards, art supplies and movies in the wood cabinet. A sliding barn door makes this room almost private feeling as well. The “studio” vibe of this room makes it perfect for jam sessions, or pilates! A baby grand piano, large windows, natural ambient light, ample floor space and gorgeous views of the pond and barn really set this space apart. The main living room is just off the kitchen, and is perfect for conversing over a glass of wine and charcuterie or cup of tea. This room has a more intimate, moody ambiance. It’s a great space for reading or catching up with emails. In the cooler months the wood burning fireplace makes it extra cozy feeling. We have intentionally left a television out of this room. The bedrooms at the farmhouse are fit with quality linens, mattresses, pillows and blackout drapes (except the middle bedroom which does not have black out curtains) to ensure a restful nights sleep. There are plenty of places to store and hang your clothes even though 3 of the closets remain locked as we use them for storage. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full bathroom with a tub and shower. The middle bedroom is another large room with a queen size bed and sits directly across from the second bathroom that has a standup shower, no tub. Down the hall are the 2 smaller bedrooms that each have a full size bed. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. The well appointed kitchen features a 6 burner Monogram gas stove, a Breville 12 cup grind and brew coffee maker, (also have options such as a french press, and a Chemex pour over), as well as a SMEG toaster, and an electric tea kettle just to name a few. Small appliances such as a juicer, and vitamix blender can be found in the glass pantry along with a wide variety of spices sure to entice your inner chef. Speaking of inner chef, the tv in the kitchen has streaming capabilities if you want to follow along to your favorite chef and whip up a culinary masterpiece. The studio 6, Lake George House

Our house is on a lane with Cul-de-sac a quarter mile down with a railroad track and you will hear the whistle which reminds us of our connection to Canada🇨🇦. Downtown Saratoga is a 10 minute drive and if you haven’t been to Saratoga Springs get ready to fall in love. All the shopkeepers’s on Broadway know how to make visitors feel welcome. And of course there is the Performing arts center and the thoroughbreds running! The space We have several places to sit inside and out. Two places to light a fire and there is a screen house as well. The barn is a carpenters workshop. You will not need to enter this but on the side of the barn is a bar with bar stools. When we end our work day we have a glass of wine and wonder why we would drive anywhere when all we need is right here. Also, remember the hot tub, the pergola with a table to fit at least 10 to dine alfresco. There is a Lean-to we built in woods behind that has a queen size sofa sleeper.
