This room also has a twin daybed across from the closet for any overflow of guests or just be another place to sit and relax! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals- plates, bowls, glasses, pans, utensils, and a keurig with K-cups for your enjoyment. The dining room has a large table with 6 chairs. We provide free WiFi access and 2 smart TV’s where you are able to login to your favorite streaming apps. We have a basket of children’s toys, several board games, cards, magazines and books. The driveway is large enough for several cars and you are welcome to park your boat/trailer. Even though the house is listed as having multiple bedrooms, it’s mainly one large bunkhouse upstairs and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There are, however, 6+ separate sleeping surfaces. Sleeping surfaces- In the large, upstairs bunkroom there are: - 2 Queen beds - 1 twin bed - 1 twin top bunk bed - 1 full lower bunk futon with memory foam top - 1 smaller futon. ** For groups that would like to spread out even more, we have multiple air mattresses and sleeping mats located in the bedroom west wall closet.** In the living room on the first floor there is a pull out sleeper sofa with a luxury memory foam mattress. Extra bedding is located in the living room ottoman or bedroom armoire. In old Firehouses, the bunk room was just one large room so we chose to keep it that way to be as authentic of an experience as possible. Please note, the only privacy in the bunk room is a curtain divider that can split the room in two and an movable 4-panel room divider. Activity options are plentiful in the Phase 2 Firehouse bay/garage. Options include bumper pool, foosball, cornhole, poker table and an abundance of sport options and a large variety of board games. We have 4 large screen TV's throughout the house. A Hot Tub can be added for an additional minimal charge (please inquire to include) The space in the firehouse bay/garage is plentiful and can be rearranged to best suit your groups needs (excluding the hot tub. This cannot be moved) Pickleball or tennis fan? We have paddles and balls available and courts are nearby at Lakeview beach park. Originally built in 1919 the structure served as a station for Lorain Fire Department's Hose Company 4 aka "Fighting Four's" for 100 years! In 2021 the firehouse was purchased by a retired firefighter and his wife, with the intent to restore the building to its former glory. In doing so, the building underwent a major transformation of the building's interior while leaving a handful of original aspects for charm. Historical Lorain Fire photos and memorabilia are displayed throughout the accommodation. The newly named "Firehouse 401" welcomed guests for the first time in June 2022. It has since had visitors from all across the United States, in town enjoying a beach vacation, fishing trip, nearby wedding and/or Cedar Point trip. 99% of our guests have rated it a 5-star! The space This cozy cottage has a kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a walk in shower, and a laundry room which also contains an air hockey table. All on the main floor of the home. Guest access The basement and attic are off limits, that is where we have things stored (these are both locked) the rest of the home is yours to enjoy! Really everything we could think of to make it as pleasant of a stay as possible. Three levels with a 1st floor ensuite, 4 bedrooms on the second level and a kid's dream room on the third floor that sleeps 5. Three doors from Century Park with beach access and across the street there's a trail with exercise equipment. Guest access There are only three areas for owners and housekeeping (Basement, Owner's closet on the second floor, supply closet on the third floor). They are marked as not accessible. Other things to note We share a driveway with a neighbor and ask that guests do not access her driveway.
