Our cozy modern remodeled home is a beautiful 5 bedroom/ 2.5 bath, newly furnished duplex that comfortably sleeps 10. Our space is perfect for families and reunions for a relaxing getaway to either sit back and BBQ in our spacious backyard or go out and explore the city. The house is a 2 minute walk to many stores and restaurants. It is located between popular destinations like the SD Zoo - Balboa Park, Legoland, the Wild Animal Park, and La Jolla Shores. The house is the main part of a duplex, upon entering the front door is the first living room that comfortably seats 6-8 people. The space has vaulted ceilings and in front of it sits an open-concept dining room. The kitchen is renovated and the dining room seats up to 10. The driveway fits 3 cars and there is ample street parking available. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with the necessities to cook any meal. Adjacent to the kitchen is a table seated for 4 which faces the second living room area. The second living room area has a large sectional couch, work desk, and dimming ceiling lights. There’s a 55” flat screen smart TV with all streaming apps available for use. Great place for meditation, relaxation, or fun family gatherings. Our home is clean, friendly, quiet, and peaceful. The host will be notified by a dB meter in the home if the sound pressure level is too high during quiet hours. Quiet hours are between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM. -No parties or excessively loud gatherings are permitted on the property. All activities must be contained within the home or backyard, not on the front or exterior of the property, to be respectful of the neighbors. -Indoors, guests must turn off all lights when leaving, not move furniture, and not smoke or vape. -In the bedroom, no food or drinks are allowed. -In the bathroom, guests should not use excessive toilet paper, flush baby wipes or feminine products. -Outdoors, guests should use the jacuzzi safely and at their own risk. Every detail is accounted for in this beautiful indoor/outdoor combined space close to beautiful Del Mar beaches the Fair & race track. Located just 25 minutes from San Diego airport, this home is equipped with 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, pool jacuzzi, firepit, BBQ, and full gym, ping pong table along with washer and dryer in garage. Feel like you're living at home while experiencing the best southern California has to offer! The space We are a San Diego Native and Texas transplant that own several short term rentals across the country and enjoy a traveling lifestyle. Our Del Mar house is lived in by us part of the year so it feels homey (and by that, I mean lived in, not just a stoic rental) but is adaptable to any type of vacationing family or group. With four spacious rooms, a large entertaining space that opens to outside living, you’ll find everything you want outdoors in a pool, slide, jacuzzi, gas firepit and bbq island. One of the rooms is set up as a family suite with a queen size bed, pull out full bed, crib and full bath. Two downstairs rooms have one queen bed and share a full bathroom and an upstairs master has a queen bed and upgraded full, spacious bathroom. If you’re not vacationing with a lot of kids, ignore the crib in the family suite and enjoy the extra room to hang out and watch TV, but those with families will thoroughly appreciate the thought put into this kid friendly house. We are 1.2 miles from the beach, which is bikeable or walkable (map included), 2 miles from Del Mar Race track for your horse and fun enthusiasts and 25 minutes from the San Diego airport. The house is fully stocked with everything you’d expect at home (because we actually live there part time!) with extras you can use like beach chairs, towels, children toys and books, a movie size projector tv and black out shades and ceiling fans in bedrooms. The house is a smart home, which will require one app download to manage the pool and sound system, but we provide YouTube tutorials as well as written instructions on how to use them. Please note, there is no central air conditioning in this house. Being close to the beach, you rarely need it in San Diego and can fully open sliding doors for cross breeze. There is a single unit air conditioner upstairs only. There are no events or parties permitted, but if you have a specific celebration to inquire about with regards to extra people, please message us and we will work with you. Quiet hours are between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am. Extra options: The pool and jacuzzi can be heated (for extra gas charge of 100.00 per stay). Please note they can only be heated one at a time and slide use is at your own discretion. Gas and BBQ are hard line gas connected. You must follow rule to turn completely off at night or you will be charged an extra 100.00. We will be notified by sensor past midnight if that is the case. The house has several fruit baring trees/plants that you may use to your liking, but please be kind to the foliage. Any missing towels, beach chairs or books may result in 25.00 charge per item. Guest access You have full access to the house and amenities, including garage space which includes washer/dryer, full gym, ping pong table and dart board. There are two closets in each master that are owner closets, which you will not have access to and remain locked, but in those bedrooms there are hanger racks and dresser spaces.
