Or hang out on the sleeper sofa with some board/party/card games and LG 65" OLED TV in the connected lounge room. A full bathroom is just off of the game room. The Dollywood and Roaring Fork bedrooms on each side of the game room have king beds, Jacuzzi tubs, ensuite full bathrooms, and balconies facing west to catch sunsets. Additionally, don't miss the dedicated Kids Korner play space with kids games/puzzles for your younglings. Sleeping accommodations for 6 (2 king beds, 1 queen sleeper sofa). --- 1st Floor --- The outside exterior deck has a gas BBQ grill to create all your Pitmaster creations. Coming into the main 1st floor, get your Iron Chef cooking going with a fully-stocked kitchen including an Instant Pot 6qt Rio, Keurig K-Duo coffee maker, toaster, and stainless steel appliances. The open kitchen has a large island with bar stool seating for 4 and flows to the large, long dining table with seating for 12, and side bar seating for 4 in the dining area. The living room connects off of dining room to enjoy the great meals and gatherings with a sleeper sofa, love seat, and lounge chair around the fireplace and LG 65" OLED TV. The Cades Cove and Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster bedrooms on each side of the living room have similar layout to 2nd floor with king beds, Jacuzzi tubs, ensuite full bathrooms, and west facing balconies. For the little ones, there are 2 Pack 'n Play portable playards located in each bedroom closet. The media room shares an ensuite full bathroom with Clingman's Dome bedroom that includes a king bed and west facing balcony to soak in sunsets from the hot tub. On right side of media room, the playful Anakeesta bedroom includes double queen bunk beds (4 beds), ensuite half bathroom, and west facing balcony with 2nd hot tub. Other things to note The cabin is on a steep hill with no usable yard spaces. There is an additional guest fee of $25/guest/night beyond 16 guests. If early check-in is available, we provide a complimentary early check-in time of 2 pm. For check-in times earlier than 2 pm, there is an early check-in fee of $50/hr prior to 2 pm. The theater, lounge, and loft are on other levels accessed by stairs. ► Cleaning Practices: We have one of the best cleaning teams in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest checks in. Surfaces are disinfected, bedding is changed and washed, and the hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled. Other things to note HOUSE RULES and FAQ ► NO SMOKING. There is no smoking in the house. We reserve the right to retain the security hold for cleaning expenses if the cabin smells like cigarette smoke for odor remediation. ► Pets: Up to two dogs allowed (no puppies no other animals). $150.00 per dog. Dogs must be crated if unattended in the cabin. Guests are required to sign the pet addendum and assume financial responsibility for any additional damage due to pets including but not limited to cleaning, repair and replacement due to scratching, peeing or excrement in the cabin etc. Any violation of these rules are grounds for eviction and loss of security deposit. Any questions, please reach out before booking. ► Service Animals- For service animals, we require the FAA service animal form. Animals may not be left unattended in the home unless crated. ► View: This house has great views of Bluff Mountain and others in the region making it a great choice for those who want views of distant mountains. It is also surrounded by trees and in the fall, it is an explosion of colors. It is a good choice for those who want views, but not the gravity-defying drive to the mountain-tops. ► Roof: The roof has no attic. If a squirrel crawls on the roof or if it is raining, you will hear it, no need to be alarmed. ► Bugs: While we have a regular pest control program the cabin is in an area that can have some pests(insects). This is the forest, and while the trees sit back from the house, nature is filled with creatures. It is possible to get 4-6-8 legged or winged visitors both outside and inside. This cannot be 100% prevented. *We do not refund for issues with bugs or forest creatures.* ► Animals: There are bears, coyotes, deer, squirrels, owls and other animals in the area, & often on the property. Be still and you might see them. When staying at the cabin, NEVER leave food items in the vehicles, NEVER leave food, leftovers, or trash outside. Trash should be bagged & locked in bear-resistant trash containers (provided). ► Security Camera: There are security cameras on the front porch, and over the entrances for everyone’s protection- all pointed away from the cabin itself. Touching or tampering with the cameras is a violation of your rental agreement. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave the property immediately and forfeit your security deposit and remaining rent payment. ► Excessive cleaning charge - $300 Your cleaning fee assumes you have followed the check-out instructions. Trash is bagged, pots and pans are washed & returned & dishes are washed in dishwasher. Grill was cared for during stay and is reasonably clean. The house has been used, but there is no damage or extensive cleaning required to prepare for the next guest. If this is not the case and there is excessive cleaning required, an additional $300 will be deducted from your security deposit. Please contact me for any questions. Should more people stay, we reserve the right to charge an additional $75 per person and/or terminate your stay. -You’re in the Great Smoky Mountains so please remember that bugs, rodents, and other large animals including bears are to be expected. Please do not feed any animals. We have regular pest control maintenance and do our best to keep bugs and insects out of our cabin. -If at any time the appliances including the hot tub have maintenance requirements and/or are rendered nonfunctional during your stay, we will do our best to have them repaired in a timely manner. We are not responsible to provide a refund in these situations. We will ask for your patience and understanding if this happens. -We do not provide refunds for: weather conditions of any kind, natural disasters, power outages, acts of God/Universe, or other things that are beyond our control. -Trash- Please place all trash inside of the trash cans in the bear cages (located around the corner from the front door in cabin ONE, and located across the driveway in cabin TWO). If you fail to place the trash in the protected bear cage, animals will likely get into it and make a huge mess which you will be responsible for cleaning up. If you fail to clean up the trash, an additional $50 will be charged on top of your cleaning fee. If you have additional trash build up that doesn’t fit in trash cans, please drop it off at Sevier County Trash Depot (free of charge) located at: 419 Tiger Dr, Pigeon Forge, TN (located behind Pigeon Forge High School). -Water- Our cabin’s water source is from a private wells on the premises. At times, there may be discoloration to the water or even a sulfur smell to it. These items are harmless and out of our control. Our cabins have whole house water filtration systems installed which filters the water in our properties -For security purposes, each property has one external camera located on the front porch. Southern Dream would be a fabulous cabin just about anywhere, but its proximity to the best of Pigeon Forge makes it exceptional. Dollywood, the Titanic Museum, The Island in Pigeon Forge, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, and the Tanger Outlet Mall are just a few of the attractions within a 3-5 minute drive. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community are each about 20 minutes away, as is downtown Gatlinburg, whose attractions include Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Able to sleep up to 20-24 people—and a four-legged friend or two—Southern Dream has many of the amenities of a hotel. But with a game room, a home theater, and a hot tub, this four-story, eight-bedroom lodge offers far more than your garden-variety inn. The primary suite makes up the loft. Open and airy, with a cathedral ceiling and a stacked-stone fireplace, the great room is everything you want a cabin’s main space to be. The leather sofas and armchairs invite you to kick back and watch a movie on the flat-panel TV, surf the web via the free WiFi, or play games with the kids. One of the couches opens into a queen-size bed, to accommodate two more guests. The dining area is also part of the great room. The table seats eight, and there’s room for three more at the adjacent breakfast bar. The breakfast bar is also a handy spot for sous chefs to sit and help with meal prep. As for the kitchen, it’s fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, cookware, and tableware so that you can feed a hungry crowd.
