Any violation of this rule will result in a fine and eviction from the premise. Parking: No parking is allowed on residential streets. Guests must park their cars in the designated driveway spots or risk ticketing and tow. Fire Pit: Guests are to provide their own firewood. There is a basket in the foyer where leftover or unused wood can be stored from previous stays. Firewood is available at the gas station or grocery store located down the street if the basket is empty. The entire house is controlled by the thermostat in the Blue Suite. We strive to keep the house at a comfortable temperature for all guests and provide fans and heaters in each suite for additional comfort. There is an owner's suite on the third floor, used for long-term rental only. This tenant has their own exterior access and does not share the foyer area. There is parking on the driveway for 4 vehicles and street parking for 1-2 vehicles. We are in the wedding district and three wedding venues are within a 5 minute walk: The Old Stone Chapel & LaBelle Couer. This is the perfect spot for bridal parties and families. This unique house, is a perfect spot for a bridal party to get ready and prepare for the big day. Brand new bath added in 2024. Outdoor patio new in 26 The space Guests have full access to the entire house. This is a historic house which is 125 years old. There are 2 main bedrooms and an entire loft. 5 total beds, a futon, and a fold out couch. The beds are: 1 king, 1 queen, and 3 twin beds. There is also a futon and fold out couch. There are 2 full baths. The house has a brand new bath (2024) with all the amenities: step down shower, rain shower, double sink, bidet toilet, and full size mirrors for getting ready. There are 2 stations with full mirrors for getting ready in the second bedroom and a full size mirror in the main bedroom. Lots of space for bridal parties or families. We have a full kitchen with dishwasher, keurig, and many amenities. There is also a wine cooler tucked away for keeping your wine the right temperature. There are 2 flat screen tvs (50”) including a frame TV. Parking is limited to 3 cars in the driveway, but Main St has many spots nearby. If you have smaller cars you can park 4 cars in the driveway. The guests listed on the reservations will be the only persons allowed to stay on the premises. Our contract with our cleaning company does not allow guests to be on site with the cleaning crew. The house is located in a residential neighborhood. Quiet hours from 10pm to 7am. That means you can't be on the decks and patios during that time making noise. We welcome families with children! We have a small enclosed grassy yard suitable for play. Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park is a short 5 miles away. We have indoor family games and outside lawn games. However, the house is not child proofed in any way. There are falling hazards such as wooden stairs without baby gates, and bruising hazards such as sharp edges on tables. The flowering containers could contain plants that would be harmful if ingested, and the fireplaces do not have covers on their openings which are child proofed, for example. (This list is not intended to be inclusive.) No extra actions have been taken at all with regard to the safety of children. All pets must be approved beforehand, and a pet fee is charged. Please don't allow your dogs on the furniture -- a dog bed will be provided, as well as dog bowls and a dog crate. Dogs must be crated when guests are not in the home. This is for your dog's safety as well as protecting the physical space. Many dogs get anxious in a new space, and we want the animals in the home to feel as comfortable as the humans! We don't allow exotic or farm animals as pets; and all pets must be house broken. Guests assume all responsibility for the damage their animal causes. As with children, the house is not pet proofed in any way.

A half bath is also located on this level as well as the washer and dryer. 2nd floor: Up the grand staircase passed the stained glass window you will find a full bathroom, 3 bedrooms, and an office. A King bed in one room, 1 queen in another, and 2 queen beds in the third. A perfect enclosed patio attached to the main bedroom will be your favorite place to sit and relax. Parking: There is a long driveway that goes to the back of the property to park your vehicles as well as street parking. Essentials: We provide a starter set of household essentials for your convenience and comfortability. This includes a couple rolls of paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper in each restroom, clothes washer soap, and dishwasher soap. We also provide hand soap, shower soaps, coffee pods, and shower towels. This is typically plenty for most stays. When you arrive, it is recommended to check these essentials to determine if you need to go to the store for more essentials depending on the length of your stay and personal preference. Location: Located only 6 blocks from historic Main Street St. Charles which has many desirable restaurants and shops. Five minutes from streets of St. Charles which provides more attractions such as a movie theater, restaurants, and more shopping. Twenty-five minutes from downtown St. Louis where you’ll find sporting events, museums, the St. Louis Zoo, and everything the city has to offer.
