This 1901 cottage was remodeled with love in the summer of 2021. The Wisteria Cottage is stylishly decorated and just blocks from a local favorite coffee shop and the grocery store and only an 8 minute drive to Rogue X. Offering 2 bedrooms, a memory foam sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower that is magazine worthy, this cottage is perfect for a cozy getaway. The space The house is located very close to downtown Jacksonville and has parking for 3 cars. The front porch invites you with comfy chairs and as you walk in you are greeted with an open floor plan. The dining table seats 6 and the living room has cable tv and netflix provided. The memory foam sofa bed can sleep additional guests. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a delicious meal including all utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, cookware, dishes, spices and olive oil. The keurig coffee maker can be used for individual cups or a full pot. Both bedrooms have queen beds, a dresser and closet. A stackable washer/dryer combo is in the back hallway and detergent is provided. The bathroom was redone by a well known local designer couple and is absolutely stunning. The walk-in shower feels like a spa. Last but not least the back yard has a picnic table, fire pit, bbq, and cozy seating. Other things to note Strictly no pets allowed.

The Williams - Luxury 2 Bedroom W/On-Site Parking

The guesthouse on our little farm overlooks the vineyard and the fields beyond. We are in the perfect spot to easily access many of the wonderful things Southern Oregon has to offer. Explore wineries, including our own, hiking trails, the Britt festival, and more! The guesthouse has lots of amenities, including an outdoor grill, kitchenette with fridge and hot plate, and full-size sleeper-sofa. Pack & play and other baby/child amenities are available upon request. The space You will be staying on a working farm! Depending on the time of year, you can expect to see us planting, tending to, or harvesting some crop or another, fixing irrigation, tending to the chickens, or attending to any number of other activities. Our primary crops are wine grapes and lavender. We also have a small orchard with pears, apples, and plums, as well as table grapes. Most years, we have an abundance of tomatoes, raspberries, and thornless blackberries in our gardens as well. Our tasting room, located on the other side of the pond, is now open! For the summer, we are open Thursday through Monday (see website for specific hours: Dos Mariposas Vineyards & Lavender). We have live music every Saturday and Sunday usually ending by 6:00pm and no later than 8:00pm. Note: We do have a large irrigation pond on the property. If you have children, please be cautious around the pond. Guest access Guests have the full suite to themselves plus access to nearly 20 acres of outdoor space! Guest should feel free to wander through the grapevines, lavender field, and around the pond. The city must be recognized as part of nature and designed accordingly. Be profoundly aware of the wildlife in Jacksonville. The deer, the raccoon, the unique Oak Bugs that often fall from the trees and land on the balcony, window seal, and sidewalks. The historic town is a wealth of historic old-growth trees, oaks, conifers, pine trees which Oak Bugs may drop out of as you watch the deer (beautiful bucks) crossing the street sometimes in the pedestrian lanes. Treat with care and respect. Guest access There is a lighted outside stairway leading to the upstairs Guest Entrance. Inside Guest's will find two lovely bedrooms, a kitchenette, dining table and couch. WiFi and TV. You can also open or close the curtains to your desire, although you won't see many, if any, people walk around behind the Villa. ~The bed is a queen size bed and extremely comfy. || The Kitchen || ~There is a small fridge with a little freezer space for your use and help yourself to whatever it is stocked with. ~The instant hot water kettle, Hario pour over, filters, coffee hand grinder, and teas, are ready for all your coffee and tea needs. ~We have provided a toaster oven, induction hot plate, some pots and skillet perfect for small meal preparation. If you plan on cleaning the skillet, DO NOT use soap, only use hot water and a scraper brush. ~ Water from the tap is from our well and is safe to drink. || The Bathroom || ~The slider door can slide over to create privacy for bathroom users or shower users. However the bathroom ceiling is open to the rest of the space, making it not very private, especially for your other guests staying in the main bedroom. ~The shower is also located next to the bed downstairs, but has a shower curtain to cover and wood slider you can pull over if you would like to close it off. ~The shower is stocked with locally supplied body wash and shampoo & conditioner. || The Loft Bedroom 2 || ~The ladder/stairs go up to the loft. ~We tried making the loft as safe as possible by putting in railing on the edge. Please be cautious with children in the loft. ~There is a full bed in the loft and the light switch is located behind the head of the bed right below the window. ~A fan is also located upstairs for guests' usage to help with airflow. || The Patio Yard || ~The backyard lawn with the patio is irrigated and runs for 30 minutes in the morning from 6:00-6:30AM, during the summer. ~The double doors open onto the patio with a latch in the middle and floor. The bedroom also has a door to the patio and pergola that has lights you can plug in. We ask that you be mindful of your shoes and keeping them clean if you re-enter the Villa through these doors. ~Enjoy the fenced in lawn and patio. Please stay within your patio and fenced in area, not walking beyond the backfield of the property as we have animals, vineyard, and farming happening, that we ask our guests not to disrupt. || The Living Room || ~We intentionally did not provide a TV, to encourage guests to slow down, enjoy the beauty, and be present during their stay. ~There are magazines, books, games and puzzles located in the armoire for guests uses during their stay. Art supplies are in the desk for guest's use. ~ We provide a record player and an assortment of vintage records. Please ask for assistance use it if you are unfamiliar with a record player. We are happy to show you how to operate it correctly without breaking the needle. || Hot Tub|| Relax in our wood fired hot tub beautifully made by Goodland in BC Canada. Soaking in a wood fired hot tub allows you to soak in pure water with no chemicals, gently brought up to temperature with fire instead of electricity. The experience of soaking in clean water only you have soaked in, smelling fragrantly of the cedar wood lounger inserts under the trees and stars is both grounding and healing. When you arrive the hot tub will be empty and clean, ready for you to fill and heat when you want to use. The hot tub takes about 3 hours to fill and bring up to approximately 105 degrees. You have control of the temperature by closing the fire box when it has reached your desired temperature. While using a wood fired tub requires work to use, it invites you into a rhythm of rest, intention and pause. Once the hot tub is filled and the fire started, the water needs to be stirred every 30 mins and more wood added to the fire box to bring it up to temperature quickly. If the water is not stirred the hot water will stay on the top, leaving the bottom still cold. We are more than happy to help guests if they need help filling and/or starting the fire on their first soak, and we are around to help or answer any questions that may come up throughout the process. There can be a bit of a learning curve and we want to help guests have a wonderful and enjoyable experience. To insure wood doesn't sit out and get wet before it is used, we ask guests to please let us know beforehand when they'd like wood and if they ever need more. || The Rest of The Estate || ~As a working farm and venue, please be considerate of our property, plants, and animals. You may see us walking around to care for the land and animals, but we are mindful of your stay and respect your privacy. ~With our barns, animals (cows, goats, dogs, geese, chickens, cats and ducks), wildlife (raccoons, ground squirrels, birds, hawks, crows, and vultures), and plants, our desire is to facilitate the balance of cultivated land for human use alongside sustainable natural growth. With a natural spring that is in process of becoming natural irrigation, mosquitos, ants, spiders and frogs can at times and in some seasons be prolific. We also have multiple areas of orchard fruit/nut trees, flowers, and vineyard that are all in production. ~Please mindful of this fact in your consideration for staying, as we’ve made our price reflect these realities of crossing human interaction with natural sustained farming. || Additional Hospitality Offers || - (Message us during your stay to coordinate any of the following additional services. The bread requires two days to make so please request before to insure we can get it to you during your stay.) ~Raw Milk: Our A2/A2 certified jersey cows produce the most delicious milk we are happy to offer guests. ~Coffee: We are happy to serve espresso based drinks, chai or hot chocolate from our coffee bar delivered to your door, using locally roasted specialty coffees. The drinks vary in price as we have raw milk to offer in lattes and different seasonal flavors. ~Sourdough Bread: Using organic bread flours and locally grown whole wheats, our handmade bread is not only delicious but nutritious. We can make fresh rustic loaves upon request brought to your door. ~ Pottery Class: We have a ceramic studio on property and offer two hour classes to introduce wheel throwing. Lessons can arranged for during your stay. Cost is $50 a person (minimum 2 people, max 4). || Record Player & Sound System || We've installed a new vinyl record player and sound system in our living room, removing the vintage piano. This record player is setup and ready to play, following some simple instructions. 1. Open the double doors located below the record player to find the speaker system, and hit the power button. Then you may have to cycle through the "Inputs" in order to find the correct inputs for the record player: "V-AUX" and for the headphone jack w/ dongle: "CD". Do not adjust the "Program" or sound, making sure it stays on "5CH Stereo". 2. Select your record and handle it by the edges or very center and place on record player. 3. To the right of the record is a small black lever and make sure it's down, which lifts the arm. If the lever struggles to move, the arm may be held down by the small black lock located next to the lever, which can be easily released with a push of the button. 4. Rotate the dial in the bottom right corner to the 33 to "turn on". 5. Carefully move the arm over so the needle is on the flat edge of the record. 6. Move the black lever up, so that it slowly drops down and the music will begin. 7. When done, move the black lever down again so the arm rises and move the arm out of the way. Turn the dial back to 0 and turn the speakers off. Guest access Arriving at The Greenwood Estate, you'll take the right most driveway (if looking at the property from the road), taking the right way at the fork. You'll come to a metal grey gate you'll physically open that easily unlatches from a hook and rolls open on wheels (please close behind you). Drive forward along the driveway and just beyond the first barn with lights on it - this building was originally a grain truck weighing scale, but one side of it, we've renovated into a ceramic studio. You'll very soon see on your left lights on a tree and a newer built wood fence. Please park in front of that wood fence without driving too close or on any foliage. That wood fence is connected to the Villa and you'll follow the path around to the front door of the Villa. During your stay you are welcome to enjoy the Villa, patio and fenced backyard. The Greenwood is a small farm with fenced cows and goats, free range geese, chickens, ducks, dog and cats. All the animals are friendly and may want to say "hello" to our guests. We have several old barns that we are renovating into usable space in the future, so we ask that guests do not enter any of the barns for safety reasons, nor wander the property. Thank you for your understanding. The gardens around the main house and vineyard are private and for the residence of the farm. Other things to note || Pets || ~We are pet friendly but ask guests to pay an additional $45 per pet to cover any extra cleaning requirements. We love animals, but please be aware of your animals during your stay. We are a working farm with free range chickens, ducks and geese. We do require that all of your pets’ waste be cleaned up from the yard, and you do not allow them up on any furniture. The pet fee is automatically added to your total when booking. After requesting to stay in the Villa we will confirm your understanding of our pet policies before we accept your booking.

As the temperature drops outside the heat pump is not capable of keeping the pool warm. We do have the hot tub for guests to enjoy as the outdoor temperature drops.

Charming 1BR Cottage – Walk to Britt Gardens

Perfect location in Jacksonville. One block to Britt, Good Bean Coffee and downtown. House is newly remodeled high end and well appointed. The space This well appointed cottage has everything you need for a better than home stay. High end, beautiful decor. Will sleep 4, two in queen size bed in the bedroom and two on the very comfortable sleep sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with what you need to prepare a meal or just enjoy a cup of coffee. Easy access shower, in very bright easy to get ready in, bathroom. There is lots of natural light streaming through the many windows, but blinds so you chose how bright. There is of course television and WiFi for your convenience and entertainment. Cozy gas fireplace to cuddle up in front of on your Holiday vacation. There are many fun things to do in our great fall weather. Trolley Rides continue with a haunted Halloween ride. The days are still nice and the nights crisp. There are activities for Thanksgiving and of course our Historic Christmas Festivities. Summer speaks for its self, The Britt Festival, Shakespeare Festival, Wineries in every direction with guided tours, leave the driving to someone else. We have Rivers and Lakes which bring rafting and fishing. Don't miss out on the Hellgate Jet Boat Excursions out of Grants Pass. There is hiking and biking near by or further out. Suite #2 is one of the most spacious of our 5 rental units. It is on the ground floor, with direct access to the wrap-around porch. True to the home's Victorian style, this suite has 10-foot ceilings and tall windows. The open layout and good southern exposure combine to provide lots of natural light. Guests also have the option of using privacy shades and black out curtains on all windows. Children 1 year or older count as an additional guest. Book accordingly. The space In the combined bedroom/living space, there is a king-size four poster bed along with a queen-size pull-out sofa bed. The large wall-mounted 4K UHD TV has cable and streaming capabilities and can swivel to face the bed or couch. A kitchenette is provided with full size fridge with freezer for those who prefer longer stays and there is a breakfast/work table provided next to the porch window. In the en suite bathroom, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower showcases the classic vertically-stacked tiling on the walls and the double sinks and oversized mirrors occupy the vanity space. Laundry facilities are also available on-site for guest use. This suite is ideal for one couple, two couples or a small family (extra charges apply for more than 2 guests), professional work/travel and those looking for a big bed, more room, more privacy, and an extremely quiet location.
