Free Heated Pool + Gym in Tempe Town Lake

Cook in a well-appointed kitchen with Japanese crockery and a backsplash of hand-painted Mexican tiles. The Saltillo tile flooring throughout is similarly accented. Other personal touches include crafted wood furniture and Mexican blankets. The space I spent most of my spare time over the last two years converting this detached guest house from a storage area into a fully functional living space with great attention paid to the details. It was a labor of love and I hope you will enjoy the final product! One thing you will notice right away is the intricate tile work throughout the living space. The flooring is Saltillo tile accented with decorative hand-painted tiles, all made and imported from Mexico. Each piece was cut and laid by hand. The kitchen backsplash and shower are also constructed entirely of hand-painted Mexican tiles. I had to pull out my geometry textbook for these ones! I tried to create a space that I would feel comfortable living in full time, including a highly functioning cooking space. In the kitchen you will find a brand new modern electric cooktop, cast iron skillets, Japanese oven-ready plate ware and many of the tools and utensils you might need to craft any gourmet meal. Other aspects of the space you may enjoy: finely crafted wood furniture, cozy leather sofas, Mexican blankets to keep you warm in the winter, a curated library of books and board games, wireless internet, Roku television, privacy blinds, and a fully functioning coin-operated pool table! Guest access The AirBnB is a detached private guest house in the backyard of the property. Guests can access the apartment through a gate from the driveway. Guests will have full, private use of the approximately 700 square foot apartment during their stay. The large, shady backyard is shared with the full-time residents in the front house. Other things to note Some important notes about the property: There are train tracks behind the property. Only a couple of trains go by each day, occasionally at late night or early morning. I personally find the infrequent train noises to be very idyllic but some people may think otherwise. There is a pet desert tortoise, Lemmy, living in the backyard. He is very peaceful and spends most of the day grazing and sleeping. It is very important to make sure the gate to the backyard remains closed to prevent him from getting out. The resident in the front house has one dog, a small white husky. Occasionally he lets the dog in the backyard to enjoy the sun and take a bathroom break. The property is flood irrigated. Once or twice a month the City opens an irrigation valve to flood the property with water. There is a raised walkway that will allow you to traverse the yard with no problems. This home is being rented by an owner/agent.

There is a large walk-in shower in the bathroom. The combined living room/kitchen has plenty of room for cooking, dining and relaxing. The living room nook includes a washer/dryer combo and storage space for other essentials. Guest access The entire guest house is for your exclusive use. There is a walkway on the west side of the property, that will lead you to your private quarters. There is only one wall that is shared with the main house, but it is separated by a sound wall. Inside you will find a comfortable KING size tuft and needle bed, 43 inch smart TV with Netflix and local satellite TV, small kitchenette with microwave, full washer and dryer, coffee station with complimentary coffee and filters, full-size refrigerator, desk space, closet area, and full bathroom. Guest access You will have full access to the studio which is your private space. There is a shared pathway, to enter Casita One. There are blackout blinds, light filtering curtains, and frosted glass to create a private setting. There is no dedicated parking spot, but there is plenty of free parking in the street.
