Outside you’ll find a large deck with a BBQ grill, a sweet picnic table with dreamy string lights and a fire pit set with log benches. There’s plenty of open space beyond the campfire for outdoor games like Corn Hole, or Giant Jenga. We also put in a cozy hammock in the wooded area, where you can relax under a canopy of trees. On the first floor you’re welcomed by the fireplace and the high vaulted ceilings to the second floor and loft space. The open concept floor plan allows you to enjoy the space with your family in the living room, dining room and kitchen. On the wall in the living room sits a 65 inch smart TV with all of your favorite streaming apps. The first floor bedroom has a bunk bed with a memory foam twin size mattress up top and a comfortable queen size mattress on the bottom. Across from the bedroom is a full bathroom with a stand up shower and access to a large washer and dryer unit. Down the hall you’ll find our mudroom where you can store all your winter gear, as well as our outdoor summer games and desk space for our remote workers. Up the stairs to the second floor you’ll find our Game Loft stocked with classic board games, retro arcade games, and a cozy space for the family to hangout. The couch in the loft space folds back into a plush futon mattress that provides an additional bed for our guests. At the top of the stairs is the second full sized bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The 2 bedrooms at the top of the stairs are well furnished with queen sized mattresses, dressers and Roku TVs so you can stream all your favorite shows and movies from your phone. Guest access Our guests will have access to the entire house, except for the locked storage closets under the stairs, and in the first floor bathroom, as well as the outdoor shed. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. We have a recreational smoking detection device installed in our living room. If recreational smoke is detected within our home, you will be notified, and may be fined up to $150. Other things to note Big Blue is all about that cozy, nature filled Pocono experience. Here’s a few helpful things to know before your stay. - The home is tucked away on an acre in the woods so you may see wildlife like deer, chipmunks, turkeys, or bugs - this is part of the charm! We usually keep a can of bug spray and a citronella candle for our guests who like to spend those summer nights outside. - The fire pit is perfect for making smores and relaxing nights under the stars. Outdoor burning is only allowed on weekdays from 4pm-9pm, and Saturdays from 8am-9pm. Firewood is not always guaranteed, so you may want to bring some along. You’re also welcome to burn any dry sticks and twigs you find on our property in the outdoor fire pit. - The lake is about a 7 minute walk from the house and offers swimming, fishing, kayaking, a beach area, and a volleyball net. You can rent kayaks or canoes down the road at Pocono Boat House on 940. They’ll deliver! - We provide a starter pack of hand soap, dishwashing pods, laundry pods, garbage/recycling bags and basic cleaning supplies. For longer stays, you may want to bring additional supplies. - Coffee, an assortment of teas, sugar, and hot cocoa are always available during your stay, as well as your basic spices for cooking. - Big Blue is located in a peaceful, family friendly community, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder mountains for winter rec. In the summer, spend a day boating, fishing, make a splash at Kalahari Waterpark, or satisfy your need for speed at the Pocono Raceway! Located in the Camelot Forest Community. Our cabin is the perfect spot for your next adventure in the Poconos Mountains. The space Perfect cozy retreat with a private driveway for up to 6 cars. About a 2.5 hour drive from both NYC and Philadelphia. Our cabin sits on a .75 acre wooded lot within the Camelot Forest Community. The outside area has a large fire pit, 2 hammocks, and a grill perfect for for a relaxing afternoon, cookout, or evening fire. You'll feel somewhat hidden in the woods without sacrificing convenience. The closest grocery store, CVS, Wawa, and Dunkin Donuts are less than a 2 mile drive away. Walk into and open concept layout inside with new furniture and appliances throughout. The first floor is open concept and has a main room with a 55" TV and a wood burning fireplace, dining room has a table for 8 with easy access to the kitchen. New in 2020 appliances and granite counter tops make it simple and fun to cook for 2, 4 or more. Two bedrooms on the first floor, one has a queen bed and the other has 2 bunk beds ideal for kids. The bathroom, washer, and dryer are also on the first floor. The upstairs loft has a queen bed, sleeper sofa, another TV, and a half bath. Our cabin is on the smaller side but is very comfortable, private, and accessible. Hope you can enjoy it as much as we do! Guest access Make this your home away from home. Our guests have use of the entire cabin and outdoor space. Other things to note Linens - Clean, 100% cotton bath towels and bed sheets are provided. Lake Guenevere - Between Memorial Day and Oct 15th you will also have access to a community lake with a beach and recreation area. To get there, turn left onto King Arthur Rd then turn right onto Lancelot Ln. Lake Guenevere is fishing, cookout, canoe, kayak, paddle board, beach volleyball, and swimming friendly (No swimming after Labor Day). Please be sure to have the amenities pass with you when at the lake, security may ask to see it. PA angler's license required to fish. Lake Kathryn - There is also a second lake, Lake Kathryn, for fishing only. To get there turn right onto King Arthur Rd, right onto Camelot Dr, left onto Hwy 940, then left onto Sir Bradford Rd. PA angler's license required to fish. Kayaks - There are 2 kayaks available for use as well as life vests. The kayaks are on the boat racks at Lake Guenevere on rack 6, slots 3 and 4. Keep in mind kayaking can be dangerous for those who are inexperienced and/or reckless. Always wear a life vest, use at your own risk. Propane - Propane for the BBQ grill is provided, there's a tank under the grill and a full spare available if needed. Snow Removal - During the winter months it snows often, the township plows the cul-se-sac. We do not provide snow removal for the driveway. There are multiple snow shovels available you can use to dig out if needed. Firewood - Firewood is not provided. You can purchase firewood nearby from locals/businesses along Hwy 940. Do not use fallen branches in the yard for firewood. They are almost always soaking wet and will not burn. Pet Policy - No pets allowed without host approval. Pet fee applies. One dog per visit. Two dogs maybe be allowed in rare situations with a 2nd pet fee. No cats allowed (homeowner allergy). Our cozy lakefront home is perfect for your getaway. We are close to ski slopes, golf course, state lands, the Pocono Raceway and many water parks. The wood burning stone fireplace and wood beams create a feeling of peace. Our community is small and quiet, not congested and populous like many communities in the Poconos. Great place for a family or groups of friends to visit and enjoy. We have worked to make this place an easy getaway with what you need to relax! Come stay at Serendipity! The space Our home is a three bedroom, one and a half bath two story home. The main area is an open concept kitchen, living and dining area with a vaulted ceiling. Floor to ceiling windows with double sliders lead out to a large deck. The deck has a propane grill, and seating enough for everyone to enjoy a meal outside. The basement has another living area with plenty of seating, air hockey table and tv. There is a half bath in the basement. Outside is a fire pit area and access to the lake. Lake entry is easy access. Our lake is private, with hardly anyone ever on it. It is all but our own private getaway. A canoe and three kayaks are available for your use, along with all the accessories that are needed such as life vest and paddles. A new hot tub has been installed underneath our deck with great lake views. We have taken care of all the details. Linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and many of the comforts of home are available for your stay. We pride ourselves in providing a getaway that allows you to relax and enjoy the wonders of the areas. Relax with friends and family in our traditional Pocono Mountain chalet, located just 2 hours from NYC and 2 hours from Philadelphia. While the chalet is located in a peaceful conservation community by the lake, you will be central to all the adventures offered in the Poconos including Camelback, Big Boulder, Kalahari, Mt Airy, Jim Thorpe, Pocono Raceway, multiple hikes, restaurants, the Pocono farmer's market and more! The main entrance to the chalet brings you directly into a sunny four-season room with elevated views of surrounding mature trees, a lovely place to gather with friends, play a board game or read a book. There is a brook that runs next to the house most of the year; if it's full you can enjoy the water sounds. From the four-season room you enter into the main living area with an open floor plan. We have a 7 seat dining room table, kitchen and living room. Central to the living room is a gas fireplace which you can enjoy while enjoying a meal with family or friends at the dining table or while relaxing on the couch. The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen tools including dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, pots, pans, utensils, cups and mugs. Past the kitchen is a full bathroom and then two bedrooms, each with a closet. Both bedrooms are equally sized, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Both have window A/C units during summer months. Upstairs is a loft space, also great for lounging. There is a desk stationed at the window for those needing to do some work during their stay. Off the loft space is the large master bedroom and full master bath. From the bedroom you can walk out the sliding glass doors to a small balcony overlooking a wooded backyard, a great place to drink your morning coffee and maybe spot grazing deer. **Please note: Master bedroom does not have window A/C units due to one being unable to be installed in the sliding door to the balcony. We have window units in both 2nd level beedrooms. We have highly effective air circulators and fans throughout the house. Guest access The whole chalet is yours to enjoy with the exception of the garage and a locked closet because they contain cleaning and restocking supplies. Other things to note The chalet is located in a wooded conservation community with two lakes. Lake Kathryn is for fishing only and lake Guenevere allows fishing, swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. The beach is open for swimming from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Make sure you bring the guest pass as you will occasionally be asked to show it to security. Fishing is catch and release only and you will need a valid fishing license! The host does not guarantee any of the community amenities as they are run by the community and not the hosts. There are tennis courts for use next to lake Kathryn and a volleyball court in the recreation area next to the beach on lake Guenevere. No fireworks are allowed. There are many full-time residents in this community and we respect our neighbors - when staying at the chalet, please remember this is their home. We enforce strict quiet hours and prohibit parties. Propane Grill - located on the deck and propane is provided. There is a tank under the grill and a full spare is available if needed. Snow removal - we get a lot of snow in the winter. The township plows the main road in the community and a plowing service comes to plow the driveway if there are 5 or more inches of snowfall.

The sliding glass doors open right onto a nice 4 season sunroom. A great place to seek a moment or two of quiet to read a book or scroll your socials. This opens on either side to a deck to do your outdoor cooking FEATURING a large Blackstone Grill to cook for the whole family! To get around Lake Harmony you will need a car. Other things to note Wildwyn is in the Split Rock section of Lake Harmony. Split Rock Resort has bowling allies, an arcade, a water park, dining along the lake, sport fields, boating, restaurants, cafes, a general store, a golf course and ski resort. To access Lake Harmony, you can rent kayaks, paddle boards, or a wake or ski boat. There is also lake swimming nearby at Hickory Run State Park as well as Beltzville State Park.
