The 1.5-mile dirt road and sloped driveway can be challenging even when properly plowed and sanded, and getting stuck is possible even with a capable vehicle. Confident winter driving skills are essential for safe navigation. It can be difficult to navigate even for the most experienced winter driver. If you are uncomfortable with these conditions, this may not be the best property for your stay. For added peace of mind, guests have the option to request extra sanding services at their own expense. To ensure your arrival is as smooth and safe as possible, guests should strictly adhere to the 15 mph speed limit on the driveway, as it can become slippery due to weather conditions. WINTER CONDITIONS Winter storms in the area can affect road conditions and service schedules. Skyline Trail is a ridge walk linking three major peaks of the Worcester Range - Mount Hunger, Hogback Mountain and Mount Worcester. The trail is 8.9 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 2,511 vertical feet. This trail is heavily forested. There is parking for several vehicles in the main driveway, plus additional overflow parking behind the garage. A few things to know: This is a quiet residential neighborhood and is best suited for families, couples, and groups looking to enjoy the area. We are not suitable for parties or large events. As with many historic Vermont farmhouses, the staircase to the second floor is steeper and narrower than those found in most modern homes. Most guests have no trouble with it (our own kids certainly don't!), but older guests and those with mobility concerns would likely prefer the first-floor king bedroom. Several of the upstairs rooms also feature the charming rooflines and sloped ceilings typical of a historic farmhouse. I am 6'1" and they are fine for me, but some taller guests may prefer more headroom. Children are very welcome. A high chair, travel crib and baby gates are available for guest use. There is a great sledding hill just outside the door, a wood-burning fire pit to gather around (also outside), high-speed internet, cable, and wi-fi. Guests have exclusive access to the hot tub, pool table, sauna, kitchen, washer/dryer, cable tv. There are also available sleds and snowshoes to use. During the summer the lake is a popular go to place with access to sand beach, peddle boat, canoes, and kayak. Walking paths, horseshoes, and an assortment of outside games. We live in a separate part of the home and are available to answer questions about the home, the areas, where to go for great food, hiking, biking, breweries, wineries, museums, farmers' markets and special events. If a group doesn't need assistance, after check-in, we disappear but are available by phone for assistance. We love the privacy, the natural beauty, the great swimming, boating, skiing, biking, hiking that is available at our fingertips. The larger suite has a large dining area and kitchen with 3 bedrooms: One has a king-sized bed with an in-suite full bathroom, another has a queen-sized bed with an in-suite bath with shower, and the third bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a bath with shower down a small hallway. There is a sleeper couch in the living area next to the pool table that can be used for an extra two people. There is a laundry room, a sauna and a pool table in this suite. The hot tub is located directly outside on a deck at this level. Outside by the hot tub is an outdoor shower for summertime use. There is a gas grill and a picnic table on the lawn, along with a horseshoe pit. We also have a fire pit set up for guests to enjoy in the evening. No extra charge for firewood. The smaller suite also has a full kitchen (although much smaller). It has a queen-sized bed on the main floor and a king-sized bed on the second floor that is accessed by a spiral staircase. These two rooms share a full bath. There is a large covered deck off of this suite with 2 picnic tables --- often used by groups during inclement weather. We only rent to one group at a time with these two suites available to that group, which allows us to accommodate 10 to 12 people. The house is located in the middle of 30 acres which provides wonderful privacy. The private beach is a short walk from the house; there is a road that you can take a car down to be closer, and there is about 700 feet of lake frontage. We have numerous canoes and boats for guests to use. We also have a volleyball court set up on the beach along with a second horse shoe pit. There is a walking path that goes around the property (over 1-mile-long) and a secluded cabin in the woods that can be rented as well (Inquire). There are 3 separate suites in the home. The fully equipped kitchen and custom dining table make meals easy and memorable. Access: The road is paved and plowed well in winter, but AWD or 4WD is recommended. Quiet hours: 10 PM–7 AM out of respect for neighbors and to keep the setting peaceful. Air Conditioning: This home does not have air conditioning. Being in VT, this is typically not an issue as night time temps often drop into the 50's and 60's in summer. However, unseasonably warm evenings, while infrequent, are still possible in summer. Exterior Cameras: please note we have a ring camera that faces outward towards the driveway and pool entrance as well as a pool deck camera. Neither are monitored actively, and are there to ensure safety of our guests when outside the property. The house futures open style living area with cathedral ceiling, 2 wood fire places and a huge window that looks out to the yard and mountains. The living room has 65" Flat screen TV and large sectional couch so you and your guests can feel comfortable warming up by the fire place or watching your favorite movie. The kitchen is open to 8 persons dinning room facing the second wood burning fireplace plus additional 5 chair seating at the kitchen bar, the kitchen is fully stocked to cook anything that your soul may desire. The house has a large deck with a table for dinning outside and a large grill. The main bedroom is very large and has a king size bed with the seating area, its own office with access to the deck and large windows facing mountain view. Main Bathroom has large marble walk in shower, large vanity with double sinks, a beauty station and a oversized jacuzzi tub. On the same floor there is a queen size bedroom with a renovated bathroom in the hallway. On the third level a specious king sized bedroom has its own balcony and plenty of space. Another en-suite bedroom located on the lower level with both Queen sized bed and a full size bunk beds. The house has separate laundry room with large brand new front loading Samsung washer and dryer. There is also a car garage for one car that gives you access to the house and has plenty of hooks for skies and clothing. Hot tub conveniently located on the deck with spectacular view in the winter or summer. The pond is great for swimming and garage stocked up with water and backyard toys to enjoy it (swim at you own risk). You can take a walk on the 7 acre property and pick fresh Organic raspberries, blackberries, currants and apples when in season. Guest access Lock box on the property will be available for guests. Other things to note This house is very relaxing, everything that in the house is a good quality, starting with very comfortable matrases, good sound system, good water preasure to a fully equiped kitchen and always neatly cut loan in the summer and plowed driveway in the winter.

The house is perfectly situated between Stowe Ski Resort (14 miles away) and Sugarbush (24 miles away) for multiple skiing destinations. ~35 minutes from Burlington/Airport/Train/Lake Champlain; ~20 from Montpelier; ~5 miles from 1-89. Prime leaf-peeping spot; also great for winter activities, with a sauna to warm up. The space This lovely home enjoys up-close mountain views and is flooded with early morning light. Outside, relax in the custom built gazebo or in front of the firepit while the kids play on the large lawn. Take a sauna, just off the multi-layered deck. Here, entertaining a crowd is a pleasure. The front entry, with its custom bookcase and powder room takes you into a spacious living/family room with a large smart TV with multiple streaming options, and plenty of boardgames for your use. Hardwood floors are found throughout the home. The kitchen/dining area brings the outdoors in with floor to ceiling windows. In the kitchen you’ll find the perfect cooking setup with a wrap-around granite counter ensuring plenty of space for cooking up your favorite meals. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is centrally located just minutes from Mad River Glen, Sugarbush, and the Waitsfield town center and Waterbury town center. The house offers a bright, airy, open floor plan ideal for single or multi-family getaways. Stone countertops, a induction stove, and a beautiful open kitchen space awaits those who love to entertain and cook! This comfortable home is tastefully decorated with plenty of seating and entertainment for the whole family. Guests will find comfortable beds and freshly-cleaned linens in each bedroom. Guest access Access to the entire home and property. Four wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel in winter months in this region of Vermont. Other things to note Important: Please note that in the winter months, we do require all cars to have 4WD or AWD and snow tires. The town road to the private road is very steep and should only be traversed with the appropriate vehicle with appropriate tires. We are not responsible for maintaining the town road as that is maintained by the town. The driveway will be plowed and sanded to Vermont standards which means it will not always be plowed for small amounts of snow. During winter, all private Vermont driveways do have a base cover of snow on them. It will also be sanded as needed or available, we cannot guarantee that this will be always sanded to the remote nature of the surrounding area and limited resources. That being said, any vehicle with 4WD and AWD and snow tires (not all season tires), will have no problem making their way to the property. We are not responsible for towing costs or damage to vehicles. This home is pet friendly and there is a $100 fee Per pet per stay. The first fee will be collected via the booking medium and subsequent pet fees if necessary will need to be collected. Please reach out if you desire to bring more than two pets. The property is located within a few miles of the village of Waterbury and the village of Waitsfield nestled in the woods immersing you in the true Vermont experience. It is in a great location, close to it all, with space to stretch out easily driving distance to Stowe and Burlington just minutes from the highway. This home is an excellent match for skiers, hikers, as well as those looking simply to detach and refresh. This property offers 4 bedrooms with 2 full baths and 2 half baths. The downstairs bedroom is a large open space which is great for kids. This picturesque brand new Vermont house has a bright, airy and open floor plan that is ideal for single or multi-family getaways. Enjoy any of the three ski resorts, nordic ski centers, and access an extensive network of multi-use trails coveted by locals either a short drive or bike ride away from the house. Equipped with a hot tub, double sided fire place, firepit, patios with multiple mountain views.The house is only 1 mile from Downtown Stowe and 9 miles to Stowe Mtn Resort. The location is a real gem! Perfect for multiple families, a group of friends or a large family to spend Thanksgiving, Christmas and ski trips. The home is well appointed and very comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom! The space The house offers something for everyone! The main living space is an open concept design which includes two separate large living areas. This space opens up to an outside patio area where there is a grill and an outdoor dining option with a view. In the main area, there are plenty of places to curl up to relax, drink coffee and read a book within the social area. It is a great home that nicely accommodates two families. Each of the 4 bedrooms have full attached bathrooms and one bedroom is a private suite. There are 3 large HD tv's in the home. The space Privacy, awesome views of Trapp Family Lodge and Stowe Mountain Resort. 5 min drive to town and 10 min to ski area. Home to famous visiting musicians thru the years including the recording of Phish's " Story of the Ghost ". Family or a group love it! My home offers a great open space to relax in front of the fire and enjoy the company of friends and/or family. It easily accommodates a lot of people. The entire house is for rent although less is open for discussion as well, just ask. I stay in an apartment next door so am readily available should anyone have a question. In the winter it is best to have snow tires or four wheel drive to access the property. I am around however to assist if you need help getting up the hill. The road and driveway are both maintained very well but this is Vermont and we get a lot of snow!

Quintessential 4 bedroom VT farmhouse built in 1900 and recently renovated. Primely located in the heart of Stowe's Moscow Village. 7 person hot tub. Offers views of Mount Mansfield and the Worcester Range, an open lawn, micro-farm/gardens, covered side porch for dining, and large back deck. Perfectly located on a dead end road off of Moscow Rd cut through to the mountain. 2 miles from downtown Stowe (5 min drive/15 min bike ride) and 9 miles (15 min drive) from Stowe Mountain Resort. The space Enter the home to a renovated, bright farmhouse style kitchen. The center island lends itself to feeding friends and family before a day on the ski hill. There is a lot of light throughout the home, with an easy open floor plan flowing from the kitchen, dining, to living. The living room is anchored by a decorative mantel, a large and comfortable couch situated in front of a sizeable smart TV, and large windows looking out to the Worcesters and the hot tub out back. There are two upstairs bedrooms with queen beds and newly renovated (2026) full bathrooms. One bedroom is the master with beautiful new master bathroom with a double headed shower plus access to the roof deck - perfect for watching the sunrise with a warm cup of coffee. On the first level, the third bedroom with a queen bed is off the main entrance plus a new fourth bedroom with a queen bed in our very recently completely renovated sunroom. With six windows, this gorgeous new bedroom will get a lot of light in the morning. Two of the bedrooms provide desk set ups for working. All flowers in the photos were grown in the garden. We tend to the garden regularly and aim to plant and harvest different crops every year, including blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, herbs, tomatoes, grapes, etc. Guests are encouraged to sample the produce! Amazing, private location on Adams Mill Road provides access to two separate trail networks for mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. One trail head is just up the hill on Barnes Hill Road (about .75 miles) and the other is at the end of Adams Mill Road (about .5 miles), both easy walks or bike rides in our very quiet neighborhood. We are also just across the street from the Little River. Convenient corner restaurant and market is a 3 minute walk away for Chinese food, coffee and other snacks as well as a market with beer, wine and ice cream. Grab coffee or lunch at nearby Cafe on Moscow, which is only a 5 minute walk away. Guest access Access to full house apart from the basement and certain closets in the house that will remain locked. The second level of the upper deck is off limits to guests given the short railings. Other things to note The hot tub requires continual maintenance of the chemical levels. We supply testing strips and all of the required chemicals. If anything seems off with the water, we are happy to talk guests through using these products to perfect the hot tub conditions.
