Home Town Season 4 restoration - Juniper Tree House is a beautiful retreat for vacations, special events or small training/meeting groups to experience small-town life! An intact example of Craftsman-era homes, Juniper Tree House is 100 years old with much of its original woodwork, glass, and details. View the Olmsted designed park from the front porch with its location in downtown, walk to locally-owned restaurants, stores, community theatre, and the renowned Lauren Rogers Museum. The space This home was featured on Home Town Season 4 as a particularly intact example of Craftsman renovation. It fronts the Olmsted designed (of Central Park design fame) park and the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art is just up the street. Easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions in downtown Laurel. The inside has been professionally designed and decorated, honoring its historic past yet all the modern conveniences. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and reading area. The sunroom/office can serve as a third bedroom with a custom made comfy sleeper chair (twin) with bedding stored in "Ben's Bench" in the living room (Ben made this bench for us from reclaimed Katarina wood during filming of the show!). Two bathrooms (the master bath has a shower, separate toilet closet, and a soaking tub); the second bath has an antique clawfoot tub with shower head. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The back porch has a bistro table, the front porch has two large rocking chairs and the copper chain adds lovely "music" when it's raining. The sitting area on the side of the house has adirondack chairs and a firepit. There is also a fern garden in the fenced backyard with a bench. A perfect place to cook, read, rest on the front porch, or play and dig in the garden for a real Southern experience in Laurel! Guest access The entire house is available for guests. For easy meals and family favorites, there’s also a crockpot, air fryer, and blender available. Be sure to take a peek at the guestbook for local favorites, shopping spots, and hometown tips. The HVAC thermostat is located in the hall. It can be adjusted by guests, with a minimum setting of 66F to protect the HVAC system and ensure consistent cooling in our humid climate. An extra dining chair is tucked away in the master closet. For everyone’s safety, there’s a security camera by the front door that monitors the front porch, carport, and driveway. You’ll find extra towels, pillows, and cozy blankets in the hall closet. Kitchen towels and potholders are in the drawer beside the refrigerator, and there’s a broom and dustpan in the kitchen pantry if you need them. A variety of seasonings are waiting in the cabinet above the microwave, and dishwasher pods are stored under the kitchen sink. There are three flashlights in the middle drawer under the TV in the living room, with extra batteries for the TV remotes and flashlights in the right drawer under the TV—just in case the lights flicker like they sometimes do in small towns. Sweet Home of Laurel Mississippi

This 1920's treasure holds nearly 100 years of special memories for our family. It has recently been lovingly renovated and restored and is very comfortable. Much of the original shiplap, beaded-board, and heart pine floors have been retained and restored, as well as much of the original exterior and front porch. There are two bedrooms and two baths downstairs. Upstairs offers a loft play area and a small bedroom with two twin beds. This home is located just 5 minutes from downtown Laurel. The space Our Little Farmhouse has a beautiful screen porch that is sure to provide much rest, relaxation, and conversation. A fully equipped kitchen, desktop workspace, and laundry area will provide space for most anything you will need to do during your stay in Laurel. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house. It is just a 10 minute walk from downtown and the perfect getaway for anyone wanting to be in the middle of the action of Downtown Laurel and HGTV's Home Town. After exploring downtown, come home and relax on the recliner sofa while watching the 55 inch TV,  or soak in the oversize bathtub or shower in the "green sea glass" shower. It was my wives idea she's from Veracruz Mexico. Anyway its a great place to crash for the night. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the other two bedroom have queen size beds. The couch In the loving room has a fold out bed inside. Other things to note Sorry we don't allow pets.

The Incognito #3 is located in a historic building built in the 1940's that was originally a mechanic shop. This unit is fully equipped. This unit is newly finished. Included is a 2 Bedroom (1 King, 1 Queen), 1 Bath ( Shower / Bath tub), Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Full sized Washer/Dryer. The space The Incognito #3 is located on the ground floor so there are no stairs to climb. Fully furnished kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 King ) (1 Queen), Bathroom with Shower / bathtub, 12 foot ceilings, common great room, washer and dryer in unit. Other things to note * Just as a note, the train tracks are located to the east. So you might hear the train occasionally. Also of note, most all of the AirBNB's in the Downtown Area are located so that you will hear the train. It is just one of the unique aspects of Downtown Laurel.

Southern Charm is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home only 5 minutes to downtown Laurel. Everything is brand new as of August, 2022 including 2 king size beds. It is tastefully decorated with lots of color and has anything you could possibly need whether for cooking or just relaxing. Our home is located on a quiet street with great neighbors. "Hometown" remodeled one house 4 house away! We would love to show you some southern hospitality and share our sweet home with you. The space There's plenty of room to spread out. You can relax in the living room and watch your favorite shows on the new Samsung 55 inch tv or read a book in the comfy chair in the bedroom. Enjoy the swing on the side porch or the quiet of the back porch. If you feel like staying home for awhile and cooking, there's a crockpot and plenty of pots and pans if you want to fix dinner. If you're in the mood for chocolate chip cookies, have fun baking since you have a mixer and baking pans. Don't forget to make your favorite drinks using the blender. If you need to run to the grocery store, Kroger is only 3 minutes away on Hwy 15 (16th Ave). In fact, all the commercial stores are on Hwy 15 as well as many fast food restaurants. However, I recommend supporting the local businesses downtown. Don't forget lunch at the 5000 food truck located by the Scotsman Store. It's really good. The house is located in a quiet and cute neighborhood so you may want to take a walk. You'll probably meet the neighbors as they are very friendly. If you need anything at all, please call me (Beverly). I only live 5 minutes away. I love to travel so if I'm not home, I'll find some one to help. Guest access The whole house is yours to enjoy.
