(72 stairs) However, the stairs are COMPLETELY worth the LONG RANGE MOUNTAIN VIEWS you will see from the comfort of the living room. There is an access road that you can drive down to unload your vehicle. In the winter, the access road may be closed due to snow. From the moment you walk into our condo, you will feel at home. We provide everything to make your stay COZY! This property is located exactly 1 mile from skiing at Beech Mountain Resort. Our condo is a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo on the top(2nd) floor of the building, situated on a peaceful well maintained gravel road. We have recently updated the entire condo to give it a rustic, modern feel. Main Level: Entry way with coat rack and shoe storage, fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, Keurig and all the necessary utensils to make your stay enjoyable, dining room with a circle table with 4 chairs, living room with soaring vaulted ceiling with sleeper sofa and Smart TV. Enjoy your favorite shows, play a game, or read a book. Upstairs Loft: Bathroom, queen bed, Smart TV, closet with chest of drawers, overlooks the living room and the mountain view beyond! The elevation at the house is almost 5,000 feet to ensure cool summers and plenty of snow in the winter. The units have heat, but no air conditioner. Ceiling Fans are in the living room and bedroom and an oscillating fan is available. Guest access You will receive an access code for the door lock after booking your stay. 4WD or All WD are required in the winter months. Snow chains are recommended. If roads are snow covered, please use Village Rd rather than Northridge Rd to arrive at complex. Note: Cannot park outside the unit, must walk down 72 stairs to access unit. There is an access road that you can drive down to unload your vehicle. Access road may be closed in the winter due to ice and snow. I know it's a lot, but it feels so invigorating when you breathe in that fresh mountain air and ascend or ...descend those steps! (Would not be appropriate for anyone with knee or hip problems) Other things to note We charge a pet fee of $50 per pet, per stay. Please message me for payment instructions once your booking is complete. Please note, our condo does not have A/C, but the cool mountain air and provided fans help keep the space comfortable. The chimney is sealed, wood fires are not permitted in the fireplace. We have electric logs with a built in heater. The loft in the bedroom is for owner’s use only. Do not climb up ladder. Welcome to our home!!! We are a half-mile from great skiing at Beech Mountain Resort which also has snow tubing, snowboarding, downhill and cross country skiing, and ice skating. And that's just winter activities!!! In the summer there are countless hiking trails, fishing, nearby tourist attractions and almost any activity you can think of! A fire pit has been finished and there is kindling and wood available at no cost. There is a separate freezer in the storage room that guests may use. The space Our space is unique because of the sheer size of the main area for a great price. Please note that we live on the upper floors year round. We will not bother you but we are only a phone call or text away if you need us. Please note also that as of February 2024 there is going to be construction of a new home next door to us and this may impact this noise level especially during the week. Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the basement including the storage area with 2 minifridges and a 5 cubic foot freezer. The living room/dining room area is very spacious and guests have often remarked about the extremely comfortable sectional with multiple recliners. This will feel great after a hard day of skiing or mountain biking! As of 8/2021 there is a brand new television. Our driveway is wide and we always give advance parking instructions. We have room for two cars but would like to know that in advance. Other things to note no children under 18. In the winter months 4 wheel drive vehicles may be necessary. We have a slight driveway incline to the street and there is also a slight incline on our gravel road that leads to one of the main roads. The main roads are usually well maintained but the gravel roads may take longer to get sanded and gravel put down. The weather can change fast and the road conditions can change fast. It is always best to check with NCDOT or even the Beech Mountain police department on the particular day you are interested in knowing about.

The condo is located beside the ski resort. Washer & dryer are in the unit. Large capacity washer & dryer are available at the clubhouse down the street. Dumpsters are also at the clubhouse parking lot. Pets are allowed with a $35 pet fee. Pets must be on a leash outside and must be crated if left in condo when guest is out. Pets are not to sleep on living room furniture or bed due to potential pet allergies & cleaning issues with furniture fabric & bed linens. Guest access 4 wheel or all wheel drive are necessary during snowy or icy road conditions during the winter months. Check weather before arrival to be aware of road conditions and forecast. Condo elevation is approximately 4700 feet. Note- there are curvy & steep roads in this mountain area. Guests are encouraged to arrive on time to check in if possible. This will help guest find the condo before it gets dark and will aid in getting a parking spot closer to the unit. The parking lot area is kind of tight which can make it hard for large trucks to turn around in some areas. Other things to note In cooperation with Beech Meadows Ski Shop a ski and snowboard discount is available for all guest in this condo on each day of their stay. The space Welcome to Beech Mountain Adventure Retreat Our vacation home, Beech Mountain Adventure Retreat, is located in the beautiful mountains of Beech Mountain, NC. We are conveniently located within walking distance of the ski slopes, the First Chair Coffee Shop, and the Alpine Village and just a short drive to Fred’s Mercantile and local restaurants. We are a fifteen-minute drive to Banner Elk, a quaint mountain town with shops, restaurants, and breweries. This newly-renovated condo, with approximately 600 sq.ft. of living area, features a bedroom with two comfy queen-size beds along with a closet and chest of drawers; a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a laundry center (washer/dryer); a cozy living area with a gas fireplace, TV, and queen size sleeper sofa; a game table/work space; a well-appointed galley kitchen with breakfast bar seating for four; a recessed hall area for stowing snow sports equipment; and a covered balcony with a mountain view (except in the summer months when the view is obstructed by the trees!). Our condo can comfortably sleep up to four adults or a family of four. For families or couples traveling together, there is an accordion room divider to separate the bedroom area from the living room area for privacy. We offer a quiet, family-oriented accommodation to which you can return after a day of outdoor adventures. Please note: Our condo is a lower level end unit that requires walking down a driveway and then down eight steps to the entrance. NOTE: There is no air conditioning as it rarely gets warm enough to require it - the condo is sufficiently cooled by two ceiling fans. The average high temperature in the summer months is 75-80°. Walk to Beech Mountain Ski resort and ski village which also hosts Beech Mountain Brewing co. Buckeye recreation center is under 4 miles and the wedding barn is approximately 2 miles. Beech Mtn. visitors center, mini-golf, and free sledding hill are 2 miles away along with multiple locations for hiking trail access. You can also enjoy everything Beech Mountain Ski resort offers all seasons to include biking, hiking, skating, skiing, tubing, dining, and Land of Oz. A short drive down the mountain will bring you to Banner Elk for more dining and shopping options as well as our new Alpine coaster, zip lining, multiple wineries, gem mining, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Otter Falls, Linville Caverns, river rafting, and Sugar Mountain public golf course. 40 mins away is Boone, NC with an awesome bohemian vibe. Ski/walk/bike down to Beech Mountain Resort. It is a 10-minute walk to Fred's Mercantile and eateries. The space Updated 1BR/1BA 600 sq. ft. condo with King Size bed, living room with two six foot sliding glass doors leading to a large private deck looking out onto Beech Mountain Resort. Kitchen fully equipped for use, Internet with WiFi, Roku, TV's in BR & LR, Keurig and regular coffee makers. Baseboard heaters plus powerful gas fireplace quickly make this a cozy retreat after a day of adventures. Washer/Dryer, dishwasher. With a prime location close to everything, this is your perfect retreat for a relaxing and adventurous getaway. The space This 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo on Beech Mountain is a charming getaway! With a flowing creek and slopes of beech mountain in the back it offers a serene natural setting. In addition to the bedroom queen bed, the living rooms queen American leather sleeper couch and a single pull-out in the dining area provide flexible sleeping arrangements for guests. The rustic stone fireplace adds a cozy touch, while the updated kitchen is perfect for meal preparation. The large deck is ideal for enjoying the Caribbean beginner slope on beech mountain. Guest access Please note there is parking availble for one car at the condo. If there will more then 1 car there is additional parking up in the village for a small fee. Other things to note Access to the top Carolina Caribbean slope is directly behind our unit, there is a steep hill that you will have to walk down to access the slope. Depending on the conditions (ie the more snow we get the closer you are to hopping on your skis and hitting the slopes) . It's always a good idea to check with Beech mountain to confirm that the Carolina Caribbean magic carpet is running and what hours it will be in-service. Its typically open until 5 pm. 4wd, AWD, or chains may be required in the winter. In the summer, we do not have AC, as most places do not due to the cool mountain temperatures.

There is a queen-sized bed in the bedroom as well as a double sized sofa bed in the living room, and 2 built in bunk beds (for kids only-up to 80 lbs.) in the hallway. The bunks do have bumpers (but not metal railings or a ladder). There is also a door that separates the living area from the bunks to add privacy. This unit is accessible via self-check-in. Classy mountain touches throughout, there is a full updated bathroom with a bathtub and have your own private balcony. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed and there are twin bunk beds in the hallway nook for your children to nestle in and enjoy. Broken Antler Pool/HotTub/Ski/Snowboard/Tubing!

The Hideaway at Pinnacle Resort is a fully renovated 3rd floor condo (no one above) with a ski slope view from the private balcony. This condo sleeps 2 comfortably with 1 bedroom and 1 full bath, however; there is a new queen sofa sleeper. Wonderfully stocked kitchen for all your needs, updated cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Ideally located and walking distance to town. Beech mountain offers skiing, mountain biking and hiking. Indoor heated pool, hot tub and sauna! The space This condo is 500 square feet and perfect for folks traveling alone, as a couple or small family. NEW wall heaters (all baseboard heaters have been removed). There is no AC but it’s rarely needed as the average temp typically doesn’t go over 75 degrees in the summer. There is always an amazing cross breeze when opening the patio doors and a bedroom window. Ceiling fans are in the bedroom and living room along with a portable fan if needed. Excellent Wi-Fi and cable tv! Other things to note The All Seasons Building offers a heated indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table and small (limited) gym. It is closed for the month of April. All Seasons Building hours are 10am-11pm This condo is on the 3rd floor and there are 2 flights of stairs. We love dogs but due to HOA, dogs are not allowed.
