Kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming are very popular down there! There are 2 kayaks available for use with the house. The space Our property is 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The upper deck front door takes you right into the cozy living room/dining area on the first floor where you will find one of the bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as the kitchen. This area also includes a larger deck in the front and a smaller deck area in the back. Up the stairs you will find the other 2 bedrooms and the 2nd full bathroom. (Each living floor has been updated with a brand new mini-split system). The master bedroom to the right includes a small balcony too! The basement which can be accessed behind the front door includes a finished recreation space (TV and chairs) and access to the laundry area. Due to the nature of the layout would recommend families with children above toddler-age. Guest access Guests will have access to everything mentioned in the property description. Other things to note This house is also used as the AirBnB hosts' vacation home. We are excited to share the place with you that we love so much! We’re long-time members of this one-of-a-kind lakefront community and are excited to share our cozy cabin with you! Summer offers swimming and relaxing at the shared beach. Fall brings colorful leaves, crisp air, breweries, and apple orchards. Winter transforms the area into a snowy winter wonderland retreat near ski resorts—then unwind by our propane fireplace. In spring, enjoy peaceful lake views as the community comes back to life. The space Our cabin has a full wrap-around porch with a grill and a comfy hammock you'll want to snooze in. There's a sliver of lake view and a wonderful feeling of being among the forest. Inside, there are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living areas, and 1 incredible sunroom office. There's a large garage and plenty of parking space in the driveway or on the road in front of the house. The living room has a big comfy leather couch & recliner, a wooden roll-top desk if you need a dedicated workspace, and a large selection of board games that you're welcome to play! Guest access You'll be able to access the entire space. Other things to note During humid seasons (spring, summer), you'll want to keep the dehumidifier running. You'll need to empty it as it fills up, every 1-2 days at most. Trust us, it's worth it. You'll need to take out the trash each week, along with some precautions to keep the animals from getting into it. As with any home located in the woods, you may encounter wildlife, bugs & critters around the property. We'll ask you to take precautions to keep them outside only. Our Internet speeds are more than enough to support many people working remotely. When it snows, the community roads are plowed, but you'll be in charge of shoveling the deck/walkways on the property during your stay should it snow.

The space This 750 sq ft lake cabin features 2 bedrooms with a loft overlooking the living room. The cabin has tongue and groove wood throughout. There is 1-bathroom with a shower, and we supply soap and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Each bedroom has a queen bed with comforter and spare blanket, and the loft has 3 single beds with same. There is a full kitchen with a microwave, toaster, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, drip coffee pot and comes fully stocked w/ pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, dish towel and one roll of quality paper towels. The cabin has Wi-Fi, cable and a 43” smart TV and we have increased internet bandwidth so you can access Netflix account, etc. The Cabin has an in wall 18,000 BTU split unit air conditioner/heater. It also has a propane fireplace and baseboard electric heating. The cabin has all of the amenities of home, with a rustic country décor, sitting on a quiet road, just a stone’s throw from the lake. The Cabin features a screened in porch and it has a deck with a picnic table. This is 1 of 4 cabins sitting on 2+ acres with its own (seasonal) private dock in quiet Ironwood cove on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack, which has much less boat traffic than the main part of the lake. The dock is a short walk from the cabins and directly to the left of the boat launch (when facing the water). You can have one motorized watercraft (not to exceed 22 feet) docked with your cabin rental. We need to know in advance that you are bringing a boat and boat size. PLEASE NOTE: This is a shared dock for boats (2 on the main dock and 2 on the walkway. IMPORTANT: We need flexibility If you have a smaller boat. We may ask you to park it on the walkway IF other guests have larger boats. Each cabin has its own charcoal cast iron grill as well as a fire-pit with 4 chairs. There is a neighbor across from the property that sells firewood (on Launch and Bent Road). In the middle of the 4 cabins is a common area with horseshoes, ladder ball and corn hole We are dog friendly for an additional fee of $50 per dog (per stay, per dog). You must let us know how many dogs you are bringing in advance. PLEASE NOTE: Renters supply their own lake towels. We provide a few bath towels. Guest access Access is 24/7 to your rental via a combo door lock. The rental is for the entire cabin, deck, property and access to the dock seasonally. Other things to note Lake Wallenpaupack is the Largest lake in the Poconos. A true escape from the city and suburbs with great food and nature to enjoy. Winter activities: Sking: Big Bear (45 mins), Camelback (45 mins), Snow Mountain (40 mins) Elk Mountain one hour away. Snowtubing at Big Bear and Camelback. Snowmobiling: Nearby State Park has designated trails and once Lake Wallenpaupack freezes Ice Skating: When the lake freezes you can use the lake. Use common sense to assure your safety. There are 1 queen, 1 full and two twin beds in the loft. The Cottage has a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen and dining room is equipped to serve up to 6 guests. There is a fire place, a fire pit three decks and plenty of outdoor space. The whole cottage has been updated and the cedar wood floors just refinished. A very unique floor to say the least, please see the pictures!! There is a gas grill and picnic table on the back porch. The two front porches have seating areas. Transient boat slips are available right across the street at Light House Mariana as well as rentals for every kind of water sport. Enjoy a quiet stay at your home away from home. Our house is perfect for a family looking to get away. With a spacious living room, breakfast room, dining room and kitchen you can enjoy your home cooked meals or eat out at one of the local restaurants. Featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms you can enjoy your days and nights comfortably during your time here. The community is patrolled 24/7 by private security so no large gatherings or parties. Video doorbell and outdoor cameras are used. The space While the house is located in the quiet woods, “beach” access for the lake is a short 2 mile drive away. The community pool is open between Memorial Day and Labor Day and is only a 1 mile drive down the road. The park and basketball courts are in the same area as the community pool. Guest access The entire main floor and outdoor areas are available for guests to enjoy. Our basement is not finished and is simply used for storage of our personal belongings. There are very few reasons to go into the basement and is not part of the rental. Other things to note Before checkout we do request the following short checklist be followed: • Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher • Collect all trash and recycling and place in the provided bins out front • Put any soiled towels in a pile in the bathroom • Leave slept in beds unmade • Turn off all lights and be sure to log out of your accounts on the TVs • Lock all windows and exterior doors

All community amenities require badges which we will provide to renters. Fishing: there is ample opportunity to do so and the fishing is great in all three lakes (Lake Wallenpaupack is the BIG lake, and the two smaller lakes in our community are called Deer Lake & Beaver Lake, which are both NON-power-boating lakes). If you wish to fish, you MUST get fishing licenses to do so (adults). It is a simple process and it is very inexpensive, but it could cost a lot of money if you fail to have one and get caught fishing without it! Within the community you will have access to the community pool, club house and private beach access (best to get to pool and beach access by car, but only a minute drive to each). The house itself offers 3 bedrooms - two of the bedrooms have a queen bed. The third bedroom is located upstairs - it has two queen beds with an XL twin bunk bed over each. The loft offers a fun space for kids to play with a train table, toys and a teepee. The main level has a comfortable leather sectional and a big screen tv. You will find a large dining room table with comfortable seating to accommodate all guests. Brand new quartz countertops make for a beautiful/clean kitchen! The brewery itself is a bit further up the road towards Hawley and definitely worth checking out. - 507 Country Store is a nearby gas station with a great deli counter for every meal. - Promised Land State Park is a 10 minute drive away with many hiking trails, a waterfall, a kids playground, pavilions, and a large, shallow lake w/ canoe/kayak/SUP rental. - Hawley is about a 10 minute drive with small town shopping and restaurants and another large playground for kids. - Honesdale is about a 25 minute drive with a larger main street to walk with stores and restaurants - There are various bars and restaurants up and down 507 (the main road on our side of the lake) which are all worth checking out. - Paws'n'Claws is a small local zoo about 15-20 minutes away - Paupack Hills is an 18-hole golf course about 10 minutes away - Costas Family Fun Park is a small amusement park with bumper boats, go-karts, playground, water slides, etc.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish casita steps away from Lake Wallenpaupack. Nestled in the heart of the Pocono Mountains with the most beautiful lake views, this serene cottage is just the right getaway vacation for you and your loved ones. Our Blue Casita features 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with a stand-in shower, and a loft overlooking the living space. Outdoors there's a large patio where you can spend your days enjoying the stunning lake views by the fire. The space The Blue Casita is in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania and has beautiful views of Lake Wallenpaupack. Inside there are 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room table, a living room with a TV and a loft. The space fits 6 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a 6 drawer dresser, 2 night stands, and a closet. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, a nightstand, a small armoire, and a closet. Additionally, 2 more guests can sleep upstairs in the loft area which has 2 twin beds, 2 nightstands, a 3 drawer dresser and a cozy floor couch. If you only have a few guests that fit in the downstairs bedrooms, this space is fabulous for lounging and relaxing too. Definitely my favorite spot in the house! We provide linens and blankets. The bathroom has a stand-in shower. There is no tub. For those of you with small children, this is something to keep in mind. There is a handheld shower head. We provide towels, toiletries, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is equipped with most of what you will need but of course, if you would like to cook, you will definitely need to go grocery shopping. Please visit our Guidebook for suggestions on where to shop around the casita! We provide a Brita to use for filtered water during your stay. The fridge does not have a water line so, you will need to make your own ice. If you are not into making ice (like me!), we suggest adding a bag of ice to your grocery shopping list. The kitchen has an electric stove/oven, a microwave, a single serve coffee machine, and a toaster. Additionally, we provide plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. We supply what you need to wash the dishes. There is no dishwasher. In the living room, there is a comfortable couch and some stools that serve as either additional seating or tables. The TV has a Roku player. We do not provide access to any streaming services. You will need to log in to your own if you would like to use it. If you do use it, please remember to log off before leaving. Our cleaning service does check this when preparing for the next guests but just to be sure, please ensure you are logged off. The dining room is set up to sit 4 people comfortably. It is an extendable table. Once extended, it fits 6 people comfortably. The cottage has a lovely Juliet balcony that overlooks the lake and the patio down below. There is a concrete patio in the yard with a picnic table and 2 rocking chairs. There is also a charcoal barbecue for our guests to use. We provide charcoal for 1 to 2 grills. Please keep in mind that if your plan to grill more, you may need to get more charcoal. Do NOT leave food outside. Remember, you are in the mountains and the wildlife is attracted to the food! In the yard, there is also a fire pit for guests. It is wonderful to sit by the fire during the sunsets up there and of course, the lake view makes it that much more beautiful. You are welcomed to use the wood if we have some in the yard. Please be safe when using the fire pit. You should get a fire starter, like Duraflame. Do NOT use flammable fluids. Children should be kept at least 3 feet away from the fire. Avoid using soft woods like pine or cedar, because they can pop and throw sparks. In the event it is needed, there is a fire extinguisher underneath the kitchen sink. There is also a garden hose on the side of the house next to the garage door. Once the ashes have cooled, please pour some water in the pit to ensure the fire has been fully extinguished. You can easily walk to the lake from the property. It will likely take you a grand total of 1 minute to get to it if you want to go for a swim! Our community’s access to the lake is on a cove that is typically pretty calm except on holidays and some weekends that tend to be pretty busy with all the boats and jet skis in the water. There is no designated area to swim such as a beach or swim platform. That being said, we all go in the water there to swim because it is typically so calm. People go in at the boat launch access area. The docks are private and are NOT to be used at any time for any reason. We do not provide beach towels. If you would like child proofing items to be provided, please let us know once you have booked with us. We can provide a baby gate at the bottom of the steps to restrict access to the stairs leading up to the loft, electrical outlet covers, and cabinet locks. We can also provide a high chair. Remember, you need to request these items prior to your stay. Please send us a message at least a few days prior to your check-in day. Otherwise we cannot guarantee we will have these available. It’s important to note that most places around the lake are only open from memorial day to labor day. Please keep this in mind when booking during our off season. Our casita is located on a very woodsy area and bugs are common. Although we make every attempt to minimize the presence of bugs by spraying the outside of the house and keeping it clean, it is not possible to remove the presence of all bugs given our location. You will see bugs outside and it is possible to see some bugs in the home during your stay. We provide bug spray for your use. It also helps to keep lights off outside to avoid attracting them. We want to ensure our guests aren’t surprised during their stay as we understand woodsy areas aren’t for everyone. Thank you and we hope you book with us! Guest access Guests will have access to the main living space of the house. The basement, garage, and shed are used for storage and thus, are not available for guest use. Other things to note The Blue Casita is available to rent from mid-April to mid-October. We close for the winter. An early check-in or late checkout cannot be approved without prior approval from management. ★ KEYLESS ENTRY ★ We offer a keyless entrance and will provide you with the door code to enter the house upon check-in. Our guests can check in at their own leisure any time after check in time. Please Note: Life jackets are not provided at the property. For your safety and in compliance with local regulations, guests are required to bring their own properly fitted life jackets if planning to use any watercraft or engage in water activities during their stay. Other things to note Additional rules - Shoes off when entering the house - No additional guests over what's on the rental agreement without approval of host - Early check in and check out fee of $20 per hour with approval from host. - Dishes must be cleaned before checking out, if dirty dishes are found an additional $25 fee will be charged. - Report to the host if there is anything damaged or broken during stay. Any unreported damage, broken and or stolen items will have an additional charge of $25 on top of the replacement or repair costs of item(s). - Communicate with host about any questions you might have regarding your stay. We will do our best to answer all reasonable requests. - No smoking inside the home. If found smoking inside, you will be asked to vacate the rental and fined $500. No tolerance for smoking inside, there are designated smoking areas outside. - Life jackets are not provided at the property. For your safety and in compliance with local regulations, guests are required to bring their own properly fitted life jackets if planning to use any watercraft or engage in water activities during their stay.

Be submersed in nature, with our plentiful deer, visiting you all day long. Only a block from Beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack, take a walk down by the water, the docks, and boats. Its sure to be just what you needed to get away from the hustle & bustle of real life. Guest access All guests will have full access to all Bedrooms / Bathrooms / Kitchen and living areas. There is no access to the basement. Other things to note **Please Note** This home is listed with a maximum of 6 guests. No additional overnight or visiting guests are allowed. Any additional guests will be charged at $50.00 per person per night. Absolutely no pets are allowed. Any pets on the premises will be charged an additional $200 Cleaning fee and have their reservation cancelled immediately with no refund. **NO EXCEPTIONS*
