The area is famous for its berry-picking farms, wineries, breweries and orchards. There are hiking and biking trails including the 33-mile Kal-Haven trail to explore. Winter guest can enjoy ice fishing, downhill skiing, ice skating in South Haven, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Our hill is perfect for sledding! The water is safe to drink and has been tested. We provide purified water and recommend picking up a bag of ice or two. (We don’t keep the ice maker running.) Please plan on stagger showers, loads of laundry and running the dishwasher (which is best done overnight) to ensure there is enough hot water for everyone. We have fast fiberoptic wifi. It is sufficient for checking email, streaming, working remote etc. We hope most of your time is spent relaxing instead! This property is our home, and has been very well cared for. For insurance purposes and liability, we have one security camera that is located on the back of the house to monitor the lakefront and our boat (which is off limits to guests) and the hot tub. Relax with family or friends at this peaceful home just 15 minutes from South Haven and lake Michigan. Take a bike ride into town on the Kal-Haven trail. Fish off the dock or take out the kayaks and SUPs to enjoy on the calm and warm waters of Saddle Lake. If it's a rainy day, huddle in the game garage with ping pong, fooz-hockey, pop-a-shot, and a few classic arcade games. Several items are stocked for little ones: high chair, booster, pack-n-play, and an assortment of toys. The space 1 King, 1 Queen, and 2 bunk beds with a trundle make up the bedrooms. We have additional sleeping areas on the couch that pulls up to a full bed, and the chair that lays down into a twin in the living room. The kitchen is large and open with island and peninsula bars to provide additional counter space. The dining table holds 6 people, with 4 additional stools (2 at the peninsula and 2 at the island). There's a coffee bar with Keurig and Drip machines -- enjoy your morning cup on the deck or in the screen room for serene views of the lake. The living room has a large flatscreen with streaming services (Hulu & Disney+). There is fiber (fast) internet available, with wifi throughout the house if needed for work or entertainment. A poker table that converts to a regular table provides a nice spot for board games or puzzles. Additionally, the blue garage has been converted into a game room for more fun to be had! Guest access The whole house (aside from one storage closet), blue garage (for games not parking), yard, and dock are yours to use! Bring a boat or rent one and tie it to the dock! Serenity at Silver Lake • Retreat Near South Haven

The cabin is nestled to the back of the 3.6 acres of a private wooded land with a short walk to the all sport lake. The updated home features two bedrooms, sleeping loft, family room, washer/dryer, all the amenities of home. Enjoy the 160 ft of lakefront off our private dock. We have 2 kayaks, a Canoe and a small fishing boat, floaties and life vests for boating or swimming. Enjoy a day at the lake, cook dinner on one of our grills and enjoy the evening by the firepit. The space This is a true log cabin, that backs up to a blueberry farm. The home has rustic charm with all the amenities of modern home, Central Air/heat, internet and plenty of room for groups. The lake is a short walk, down a gravel drive Guest access The cabin property sits on 3.6 acres. From the Blueberry farm behind the cabin down to the waterfront (between the blue and dark grey house) is our property. You will see stakes between on the edge of our property. Please stay within that area. (please note the post to keep vehicles from driving down to waterfront). Other things to note The Cabin can be tricky to find the first time. Just stay on firelane 30, all the way to the end. You will take one left turn when getting close to the homes along the lake. I will email a map to provide directions, along with a welcome letter. Note: There are two exterior cameras for your protection as well as ours.

The space Three bedrooms and one bath. One of the bedrooms has a sliding glass door to the deck. There is one queen bed and two full size beds. The home is on well water with septic. The deck has a canopy on one side with seating and some open seating on the other side where you can catch some rays. There is also a grill on the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics for cooking or grilling. The backyard has a shed with different yard games and life vests. There is one paddle boat. There are two kayaks and two stand up paddle boards. There is a dock to use for fishing, and feel free to bring your boat! Guest access Feel free to use the shed near the water. There is games for kids, adults, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and life vests. The shed near the driveway is off limits to the guest. Other things to note We are on well water. Lakefront Getaway in the Woods.

Lots of room to roam on this 6 acre lakefront property. A beautiful 500-ft long boardwalk to the lake. You can see the lake from the house however, you have to walk to the lake through the lovely woods on the boardwalk. This property is adjacent to the wonderful Kalhaven Trail just redone in 2024. Ride your bikes all the way to South Haven. We are on mile marker 13. This cabin is located on lake 11 which is a 51 acre lake . There are two full RV hookups on the propert for rent as well. The space we have lots of trails on the property. there is almost 7 acres to roam on . It is a beautiful 500 ft boardwalk to the lake. The lake is called lake 11. it is a wonderful 50 acre lake. It is 20 ft deep. two spots that are 30 ft deep. there are seven disc golf baskets outside. we have several kayaks, several paddle boards and a couple paddle boats. we also have a swimming platform. we have a foam floating lily pad. this property also butts up to the kal Haven Trail which is phenomenal. Mile marker 13. If you or your family member would like to ride your bike to the South Haven or just a few miles into Bloomingdale to the park. there are two full hookup RV spots available for rent as well. they have a 30 and 50 amp breaker, water and sewer. we also have hidden several Bigfoot figurines throughout the trails for the kids and family to find along their trip. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place. If you're looking to rent out a place where you could have your family and a few other family members, this is the place as well. Guest access You are able to roam the whole 7 acre property. You also could go on the kal-haven Trail which is right next to the property.

One important consideration is that cellular service can be limited which may impact your ability to get directions to the house. Typically a paper map does well and some cell providers work so long as you've typed in your directions when in a good coverage area.

It has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and new flooring. Also, the lake provides a shallow sandy entry. It is good for younger kids to play. Guest access You will be given a front door code and a combination to the shed which stores water toys, and outdoor games including a canoe and kayak. We will provide the bed linens and towels. Also for check in time, we can be flexible we can work out those details once you book. If there are renters leaving the same day you are arriving we will need time have the house cleaned before your arrival. If a renter is not leaving we can provide earlier entry. Other things to note We hope you will enjoy our place as much as we do!! It is a great place to make memories with your friends and family! Reminder this is a no smoking property! Many attractions in the area, but this cabin is so cozy you might find yourself staying in. The space There is one king size, one queen, and one twin bed. This fits 5 people comfortably. The small living room couch does fold down into a bed, fitting a child. We can also provide one or two cots, if needed. Please message if you are bringing more than 5 people. Bringing a larger group? Check out our other listings on this property! Guest access *There can be heavy snowfall at this location. The driveway will be plowed regularly, but we cannot guarantee at what time of day. Do not add any salts or oils to the water. It can clog the pump and require a total water change. Regarding pets: Only approved well-behaved dogs of 35 lbs or less are allowed on the premises (for a fee). Maximum of 1 dog can be approved. We do our best to check everything over, but occasionally, campers turn some switches off or on in the control panel. If your water runs cold, you might need to find the "hot water" switch and turn it on. Please read instructions regarding thermostat function after booking. It is on a regular schedule for removal. If that tank fills prematurely, the toilet can not be used until it is emptied. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. This includes but is not limited to baby wipes (or wipes of any kind), feminine hygiene products, facial tissue, paper towels... these things will clog the system, and you will not be able to use the toilet. It will also cause cancellations for the next campers. Guests have reported that their cellphones work well at this site. At this time, wi-fi is not available. But, you should get a signal if you bring your own hot spot. We have lighting around the RV, but it is fairly dark down there. We suggest you bring flashlights. In the country, critters are simply a fact of life. Bring insect repellant! Just a warning for those wary of bugs; even though we have the camper professionally cleaned after each guest, and we use humane methods of mitigating pests where possible, we simply cannot avoid the occasional critter from breaking in. The existence of critters and bugs in/around the RV are 100% out of the host's control. If this is bothersome for you, you might re-think booking this campsite. Enjoy the Lake Life! This huge home offers over 4000 finished square feet. Sleeps 20! Host your family reunion, vacation with other families....there is plenty of room! Saddle Lake is a popular lake in the area with sandy frontage, shallow swimming area great for kids, 15 minutes from the beach in South Haven, 2 hours from Chicago area, easy to find, on a paved road. Pontoon boat available for rent if you choose. Bring your speed boat or jet skis! MUST be 30 years old to book. The space This large family home has space and room for everyone! There are 3 bedrooms that are on the main level, one of which has a private entrance off the deck. One is the primary suite with a full bath. Another main floor bedroom is connected to a full bath as well. The walkout basement is the 5th “bedroom” set up as a bunk room with 3 bunk beds and a king. There is also a pool table, kids play area, couches and a TV in this large open space. On the second level is the 4th bedroom/bunkroom with 5 beds, sleeps 6. The kitchen is open and we have dining space for 4 at the snack bar and two dining tables that seat 6. In the garage, you’ll find a foosball table and ping pong table. Our third full bath is a unique set up…our “outhouse” is a room with a toilet. The sink is next to the laundry area, and the shower is located in a private room off the laundry room. There is a step stool to help little ones reach the sink. Outside there is plenty of space on the deck to entertain, along with 2 gas grills for your use. Down by the lake, you’ll find a fire pit and kayak stand with 2 kayaks and a floating raft from jumping or sunbathing. Bring your own boat, or ask about renting our pontoon.
