Music Studio 307 is a professional recording/rehearsal studio located in an artist community in Stafford, CT. We are located perfectly in the middle between Boston and NYC, 15 minutes to UConn, 20 minutes to the Brimfield Antique show and 40 minutes to the new MGM Casino in Springfield, MA. Our town offers many restaurants, boutique stores and parks all within walking distance along with Art and Music events.There is a Yoga studio, Recording Studio, Dance Studio and Vintage Shop on our premises.

I have three separate studios that are all connected via the back hallway where the laundry room and 1/2 bathroom are located.  The first studio houses the Control room, Vocal booth, Live room and 2 pull-out sofa couches.  The second studio space houses the Artist lounge with a Baby Grand piano, full kitchen, full bathroom, newly added coffee and breakfast station and a TV area with 2 futon couches and cable and fire stick HDMI flat screen.  The 3rd studio houses the bedroom with it's own lounge area that has two pull out sofa's and an HDMI flatscreen Fire smart tv, local cable and Xbox One console.

Guests have access to the entire studio spaces. Access to the business part of the studio is only available for sleeping to parties over 10 people.  Access to the studio for purposes of recording and/or rehearsal require additional fees.

I will be on the premises staying up in my rooftop apartment unless otherwise noted.

We are in walking distance to many restaurants, shops and The Stafford Palace Theater.  We provide private parking in our buildings parking lot and free public parking located across the street at the Sunoco Eagle Mart.  There is also free parking at the Town Hall located next to our building that provides charging stations for electric vehicles.

In order to accommodate my other clients and Airbnb guests, the 11:00am check-out time is strictly enforced.  If you wish to have a later check out time, our studio hourly rate fees will apply and must be communicated prior to check-out.  If you have not checked out at 11:00 and have not communicated to me wanting a late check out, you will be charged a $75 late check out fee.

Professional Recording Studio

Enjoy a picturesque 15 minute drive to the Brimfield Antique Show!  We are just 5 minutes to Staffordville Lake and 5 minutes to downtown Stafford Springs.  Many acres of Wildlife Refuge and Parks just a stone's throw away from the Inn.

Our home is on the original town green and still boasts many of the original details from 1778.  Our home has wide plank floors, hand carved chair rails, two of the bedrooms boast barreled ceilings and one a mullion window!  Our prices are per room rates.  

During the Brimfield show we provide a large continental buffet with "to go" bags and coffee cups for those that aspire to the sunrise opening at the show.  If you are interested in a seated breakfast during the show we are happy to provide a hot breakfast as well upon request.

During the winter months we used two wood burning stoves that provide a warm, welcoming environment.  While preserving the details from the 1700's we also provide modern amenities like free cable and WiFi.  Our family loves to host guests and have had guests from as far as New Zealand, Dubai, Paris and Norway to name a few.  

We also have hosted many local folks who love to get away from the quad cities that surround us.  Hartford, CT , Boston, MA, Springfield, MA and NYC, NY are within 40 minutes to 3 hours from our home.  

We are a family run New England get away rich in history and landscape in every season.   Since we raise our three children in our historic home we also accept guest with children of all ages which is very rare in the B&B world.  We hope you or perhaps you and your family will visit and become as enchanted by our quaint little town as we have grown! 

Some of the decor in our home is for sale.  I love to have a piece from our local antique shop rotating at the Inn to change up our decor.  We also usually have a few photos for sale and maple syrup, of course!  We have 5 sugar houses in town and love using and supplying their products!

We have two rooms routinely available and two others if we have a large party staying for a minimum of two nights or longer.  

We also host small events and gatherings.

We interact as much or as little as our guests want.  On weekends my children are often the servers unless a guest would rather not interact with them.  I discuss this upon making reservations and have found most travelers love interacting with our family run business.  On occasion the kids and I are with my brother in Boston or New Hampshire and my husband will be your host.  He is a Uconn professor and was "my waiter" when we met so I know the service is top notch whether I am here or not!  If you are coming with children I often open our playroom to them based on their age.  We accept and welcome all children!

We are in a rural setting with our neighbor's horses surrounding us.  The two dirt roads that flank the inn are perfect for nature walks or bike rides.  Not far from the inn there are trails for both hiking and mountain biking if you are looking for more challenging adventure.

Staffordville lake is only a 5 minute drive down the hill and is open to the public during summer months free of charge and after school hours all year long.  

Our local pub J&D's has wonderful fish taco's and a signature burger that is on the CT Brew and Burger tour.  Basil's restaurant is know for it's high quality, huge portions of italian and American cuisine and only a 5 minute drive.  

We are also home to some of the best Barn Sales around especially during the Brimfield show!  If you can come before the show I can direct you to some amazing finds at half the price!

Our most popular event is the Brimfield Antique Show which is held three times per year in May, July and September and is a mere 15 drive through lovely rural rolling hills and around spectacular Staffordville Lake.  

Our downtown now boasts The Palace Theatre originally a Vaudeville destination with the pulley system still visible!  It is an intimate setting and a wonderful way to enjoy live music or any one of the other live acts the Palace draws here.  

Stafford Springs has become an artist community filled with studios and galleries as well as occasional street performers and drum circles during the summer months at our farmers market. 

Downtown offers antique shopping, a thrift store for bargain finds, gift shops and a wonderful coffee shop with an organic flair!   The shops of Stafford are hidden gems in our rural getaway.  To name a few we have a vintage clothing store, Three Grace's, that have amazing finds at reasonable prices, an antique and oddities shop called Rustology that could consume you for days wondering through their vast store and warehouse just a few steps away from each other and many other charming shops including our latest addition, Sabor, an Olive Oil Tap Room and gallery!

Sturbridge Village a living history museum is an amazing place with the horse drawn carriage that used to stop right here at the inn!  We are so lucky to have such a big part of our history forever preserved just a few miles away in a living museum.

We are rural so you will need to rent a car if you are flying here.

The Brimfield Show is only 15 minutes drive and many of our guests find staying here helps them to decompress from the frenetic pace at the market.  We have stored and shipped things in the past for reasonable fees based on the size and duration of storage.

This retreat space is in a renovated barn than was hand built in 1949. Decorated with original art work and has a minimal design that leaves it feeling spacious, elegant and uncluttered.

Ample parking, even for vans or small campers. We're an easy location near the world famous Brimfield Antiques Market, a charming downtown and a local country store. Many nearby destinations that are on or off the beaten path.

We live on the edge of what's known as the last green valley, while at the same time, close to major highways and cities.

We support our local farming community and use eco friendly products with our cleaning supplies.

The apartment is located on the top floor that leads out to a spacious private rooftop area. PLEASE NOTE: ROOFOP IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS, A NEW ROOFTOP WILL BE INSTALLED TBD. Inside you will enjoy the beautiful hardwood floors throughout the apartment, high ceilings with industrial lighting and a spa-like bathroom adorned with candles for that special touch.  There is a coffee/tea bar for your convenience and a full kitchen.

Guests have access to the entire apartment and rooftop. Also, please note that any gathering of people invited by the guests for a celebration must be pre-approved

Modern Industrial Apartment with rooftop access

This is a beautiful and relatively new country house getaway surrounded by 4 acres of woods, a sunset view of the Stafford Valley, with plenty of light living space and comfortable amenities.  Escape from city life in middle of nature, 1:20 from Boston and 2:20 from NYC.

Our house manager Claire will greet you and orient you to the home.  You are on your own for cooking.   There is a gas grill for your use as well, a two car garage for your car(s), and the house is all yours to enjoy.   For remote work, there is a separate office space over the garage so you can keep working without interuption, if that's what you need to do.  We have three bikes to use, as the area is full of hills, trails and public parks for biking, hiking, and running.  And a beach with life guards on duty during the summer at Staffordville Lake, just down the road. Though remote, you have lots of stores and package stores (liquor) near by for all your supply needs.

Guests have access to the whole house.

Aside from arrival and departure, guests will be on their own at the house.   Obviously we will be available for emergencies.

Stafford Springs is a quaint New England mill town with a coffee shop, antique shop, and other assorted shops and places to look and visit.  Old  Sturbridge Village is up the road.  And every year there is the antique show in Brimfield, the next town over.  There are a bunch of breweries to visit in the area (Leaning Tree), and Hartford is a quick 30 minutes South if you miss the city life.

You will need a car to get around, there is no public transportation in the country.  You can bike everywhere but there are also no sidewalks, so caution is advised.

Majestic country getaway

This unique place has a style all its own. The building is over two hundred and 20 years old. It was the Convent of Sisters of Mercy, St. Edward's Parish

The suite was just completely remodeled. Everything is fresh and bright. (We are still working on the exterior). The suite has one bedroom with a queen bed, closet, dresser and smart tv. The living room has a convertible bed, closet and smart tv. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware, coffee station, fridge, stove and microwave.

Everything you will need is in walking distance or a short drive. Parking is in rear of building.

Historic 1 bedroom suite

Our newly refurbished cottage is perfect for short-term stays for professionals, travel nurses, visits back home to CT, UConn events, or especially during the autumn season for the many harvest fairs all within 45 minutes, including the Eastern States Exhibition ("The Big E").  

We offer many amenities, including free on site parking, Wi-Fi, TV, office area, living room, full bathroom, dining area with breakfast counter, full kitchen that's fully stocked, large bedroom and in-unit laundry.

Guests will be given their space, but we are on site and available by phone/text when needed.

Rural

We are 3 miles from the major highway, but after that, it's country roads - no street lights and no sidewalks.
